My air conditioner died, Fantes came out and looked at the HVAC and Hot water heater as well. It was the original HVAC system. Fantes representative said by upgrading the HVAC unit I would save 20-30 in gas bills. Quite the opposite happened. My usage, not amount of the bill, but my usage has gone up almost every month sometimes by 40-50%. No one could figure out why!
