The first time I stopped by, it was closed, but I called anyway. Eleni answered, and she couldn't have been kinder. She's hard of hearing, but she was incredibly warm, enthusiastic, and genuinely excited to open up and help me find the kinds of records I was looking for. I'm really glad I went back. The selection was great, and what stood out even more was the atmosphere. A couple of other people were there chatting, helping her out, and digging through records of their own. It felt like a true neighborhood record store where people gather because they love music. That's getting harder to find these days. If you're in the area and enjoy vinyl, it's absolutely worth a visit. Just remember to bring cash, because it's cash only. Small businesses like this deserve the support.

This CD is truly a blessing from the heavens and delivered to us via the prophet Robert. This is both the greatest album in history, and the greatest album of today. This is what happens when you search through a vault of precious 24 karat gold, and still manage to leave with the highest quality platinum. This CD ruined all other albums for me, nothing else even holds a candle. The beautiful singing, the masterful guitar work, the majestic drumming, God I can't even accurately describe how exquisite it is. I immediately wished to purchase this masterpiece, but as this work of art was so coveted, as at the time there was zero information easily findable on the internet, the store owner and I reached an agreement. We would do research on how much the CD originally sold for and I would later return to this treasure trove to agree on a price. 1 week later I made my return, and after discovering that it originally sold for an affordable 5 U.S dollars, the prophet Robert, in all of his wondrous generosity, let me have it for 10. That is the story of how I obtained the pinnacle of human expression in music form on one, inexpensive, incredible CD. I found a ton of Joan Baez and Judy Collins, but this store has every genre imaginable. The owner is super knowledgeable and will happily tell you stories about his time in the record industry (ask about Cher at Tower Records). All at reasonable prices. I love the bins of action figures; you never know who you'll find! Free handicapped parking can be found in the metered lot behind the shop on Chestnut Street. There are also several handicapped spots on Moody Street. Shop is handicapped accessible, though it is a pinch cramped in the back. I've been able to maneuver with a rollator and cane. As soon as you walk in you can smell the paper, books and comics from wall to wall. The gentleman that works there was extremely nice and helpful with trying to find certain comics my oldest was looking for. It definitely let me walk down memory lane with some of the old comics they have available. The pricing is reasonable too, if I didn't budge well I'd leave that store with empty pockets but with a treasure trove of goodies.

However, I…read morediscovered they have regular vinyl & CD shows every couple of months where there are thousands of mostly used selections of good recordings available at good prices. I have found many out-of-print and classic recordings there at the many different booths. The different vendors at these shows even offer some discounts occasionally. The shows are two or three months apart. Sign up for email notice of when they occur. In their Randolph store they stock thousands of records and CDs and you can browse for hours, if you want to--no pressure. For any oldies lover, this is the place to go. They have movies, too.
