Fun park with plenty of things to do…read more Originally intended to go here for some fun disc golf and enjoyed my experience here. The course has a wide variety of different challenges and terrain available, though the quality of the tees and signage varies throughout the course. I wasn't a huge fan of the earlier holes which go close to the street and around the areas where geese congregate. However, the middle holes go through some beautiful forest and have a much more interesting combination of terrain. The baskets are difficult at times to see, to updated signage would also be better. But overall, a fun set of challenges. Even if you're not into disc golf, the park itself is beautiful with a large pond, many walking paths, and a variety of nature. There's also basketball courts, a baseball diamond, pickleball courts, picnic areas, picnic shelter, washrooms, tennis courts, and other amenities. This looks like a great place to enjoy a sunny afternoon.

It has a nice walkway along a pond which attracts lots of wildlife to see along the way. A large baseball diamond, tennis courts and basketball courts. The bathroom is decent which is a plus when it comes to parks.

The course starts off very long for amatures but as it goes along it becomes interesting and challenging for both players. I think my favorite hole was the one in the front nine which has a bunch of thin trees close together between the pad and the chains. It was really fun and interestingly different than other courses I've played. This was fairly easy to find your discs if you got off the beaten path.

For me, the best feature is a large 18-hole disc golf course and for this purpose, Margreth Riemer Reservoir really delivers. This course has a perfect mix of hills, grasses, trees, bushes, and large bodies of water for the small chance that you may lose your disc (fortunately, there's plenty of area between the course and water, so you'll have to throw quite off the mark for it to land in there). The only thing I dislike about the park is the confusing parking, but it's not too bad once you've been there once. Definitely worth a visit if you live in the area, and a great place to get some disc golf practice.

We thoroughly enjoyed our snow tramping hike! (But Dretzka is somewhat devoid of paved trails for hiking so take note). Dretzka IS home to some of the best frisbee golf in the MKE County Parks system- and we saw small squads taking part in the well-documented frisbee golf course. It's also home to a golf golf course, complete with a golf house, so tee up! The remnants of a past toboggan hill is here- and my parents remembered tobogganning down an icy ramp, so take note sledders and xx skiiers if you're looking for a larger hill to schuss down! Acres of snow in the winter, acres of green in the summer- Dretzka is top notch.

In the summer there's a beer garden that comes around. Given its location near the highway and next to two big stores, this would be a perfect place to throw a picnic. Only negative thing I would say is that I didn't see anything for young children.

Well, the Glide Disc Golf Pro Shop is the best disc golf store I have ever been to, period. In early July, me and my two friends trekked up to Wisconsin for a weekend of disc golf. We made our way to Hiestand Park in Madison. However, the course was absolutely packed, so we wandered across the street to check out the disc golf store. This store had it all. Innova, Discraft, Gateway, Millennium and many brands I'm not even familiar with. They had every disc you could ever want, in every plastic you could ever want. They also had bags, shirts, water bottles, towels and bug spray (which ended up saving us because those mosquitoes were as thick as thieves). The shirts, towels and water bottles each had a pretty cool custom Glide logo (see picture I uploaded). The guys who ran the store were super cool and gave us a tip on another local course that wouldn't be so busy (Vallarta-Ast DGC in case you want to check it out). That course ended up being hours of fun and we have them to thank for it. I hope their little store succeeds. They have a fantastic selection and really know their stuff. I couldn't have asked for a more positive disc buying experience.

The short answer is a resounding "yes". Across the street in a strip mall near Hole 1 is this unassuming storefront. Inside I found very knowledgeable staff and one of the widest arrays of brick and mortar offering of Disc Golf paraphernalia. From store logo custom discs of your favorite style to comfortable moisture wicking clothing. Sorted by styles and weights, Glide has it all. Did I need a 'Birdie Bag' (a pouch of talc to dry my sweaty hands)? Probably not, but now I have one. I ended up getting a Glide exclusive Aviar R wood putter. some shirts, stickers, and course tips. I didn't feel like it was overpriced at all. I am in the process of trying to get some more items as it has been about 7 years since I was in through the doors. Glide on in. You will be glad you did

A somewhat-hidden gem of a park, Keller Park is tucked away behind several homes on Pine St., and…read moreoffers several nice amenities. McLean Rohn Playground is on the south end of the park, near the Laurel Ave. entrance. It features a nice assortment of playground equipment for kids of all ages, and plenty of places to sit and supervise. There is plenty of open grounds to play upon, and all of the grass is well maintained. Along much of the length is a small disc golf course, which parallels the paved path, and continues over the river into Shepard Park. The small steel bridge that connects the two parks, over the river, has some nice views of the wildflowers and plants on the bank of the river. On a nice still day, the lull of the babbling water is very soothing. Because it's so close to several schools and day care centers, there are often lots of kids playing there during the daytime; if you plan of a round of disc golf, avoid times when the schools are getting out in the afternoon. Parking is limited at the various entrances, but you can park at Shepard Park, and cross the bridge over. The bathrooms are also at Shepherd park.

There are multiple ares for kids to climb--a climbing wall, a climbing tree, ropes, monkey bars, etc. the swings are also inclusive for people of all abilities and there are 2 separate swingsets. I loved the slide structures as they provided shade on an exceptionally hot day. Things to make note of: no food or drinks are allowed in the playground. There are plenty of tables outside for you to eat, but they are not shaded so it could get particularly hot. Plan accordingly. There are bathrooms which is really nice.

This is the first time we've ever been to Kayla's playground, and we were an absolute awe!…read more Not only does it seem super well maintained, everyone there was so pleasant getting along great and it has so much diversity in terms of all the different playground equipment that's there. I was so happy to see that they also have very options for kids of all different spaces, sizes and needs including a specialized swing for those in wheelchairs. My twin toddlers absolutely loved the play place. They explored both sides even though one side is for a little bit younger and one side is for a little bit olderis older. They really like the slides and the more advanced side. But, they've never seen the old school spring riders before and the kiddie side had two! They got a kick out of that and it made me feel nostalgic. We will definitely return to this playground again and again and again. The kids loved it and other than ONE entryway, the entire playground is enclosed which also helps to give piece of mind while you're watching your littles.
