Minimalism and utility all in one place. Crate and Barrel is clean, organized, and has all the best…read moreitems for cooking, baking and entertaining. Place an order online and the friendly and professional staff will bring it out to you curbside when you use the notification in the email confirmation to let them know you've arrived. I really can't say enough about the staff. They seem always delighted to be there and to help. Some even remember my name year over year, which I find astonishing.

There are times that the one experience with a company/store puts that "bad taste in your mouth"…read morefeel, and this was the one time. From the moment we walked into the store at 6207 S State St Murray, UT 84107, we were completely ignored in the furniture department. We mingled there looking at furniture, bedding and accessories for an extended period of time. Two men were across the store from us behind computer screens at their work stations. We saw one woman in an office door who was talking to someone else in the office, who would come out, look at us, and then turn around and walk back in and continue her conversation. It felt as if they were too busy to help us. We finally sent someone to the kitchen section to inquire if we could get some help in furniture. I saw the woman come out of the office, look at us, then approach one of the men, who got up from his station and walked toward us. I explained my dilemma of having started an order online with a cabinet that was on sale and as I was processing the order, I had questions regarding shipping/delivery that I couldn't find the answers to online. So I put it aside to go into the store after my out of town work trip, not realizing the sale was for a limited time. Pulling up the order, I discovered the sale had ended and the cabinet was back to regular price. I asked if there was any way they would honor the sale price. The salesman went to ask the manager, from the same office as the talking staff, and came back and said, "she said no." No explanation, no greeting, no apology from the manager. Just "No". I have never felt so ignored and dismissed as I did in that department in that store. I'm sure this is not the standard of Crate and Barrel, but it has tarnished my opinion of the entire company from one sour experience.
