Buyer BEWARE! BAIT AND SWITCH!! We purchased 2 mattresses and scheduled to have them delivered to our home the following day. 20 minutes prior to delivery, we received a call from Mt. Refined stating that they did not have the 2 mattresses we already purchased, but only one. The manager WOULD NOT GET ON THE PHONE to discuss the situation but told the girl who called to make us pay $100 MORE for a different mattress. After attempting to negotiate, asking her to even meet us half way at $50, they refused. And again, the manager refused to take our call. NO WAY TO DO BUSINESS! We had previously purchased THOUSANDS of dollars worth of goods from this store. We will NEVER buy from this CHEAT store again! read more

1.) You have revealed yet another instance of dishonesty in mentioning that Corsicana was not satisfied with the photos -- this was NOT the case when I spoke with Corsicana. I am happy to submit whatever photos are requested and was given no guidelines. The mattress was on the ground to ensure that a solid, flat surface was used. Your staff has gone back and forth on whether that is or is not true - just as you do in this reply. Outline the photos I would need to ensure a refund and they will be provided promptly. You demonstrate a severe lack of understanding around how your warranty policy and theirs do or do not overlap. 2.) Your mattress protectors are nearly $100 and buying one does not ensure that it is used. It is simply another way to squeeze money from your customer. The mattress was in the exact same condition as it was when I left your store (plastic on exactly as it was). It was transported on my car because you did not offer a delivery option. 3.) Your staff gave false information to me repeatedly and lied about their correspondence with the manufacturer. You offer no explanation or apology to remedy this. read more

My husband and I are new to this area. Last year we stopped by Mountain Refined and were so impressed with the furnishing and pricing. After talking with the stores owner we decided to work with them to pick out furniture to furnish our Townhome. We were so excited to be able to get advice from someone who had such good reviews and seemed on our first visit to be genuinely interested. After we had discussed what our likes and dislikes were we felt very comfortable with Nicole and her team. I will say that we did have a few setbacks with our dates for completion of the home, but after that initial visit we just felt like we were not getting anymore attention. We were asked to work with a young lady that soon after we started left the store. We called and spoke with Nicole and voiced our concerns, she again promised that she wanted to work with us, but stated she had family things that she was dealing with and would need to get back with us, we never had another call from her. We really needed someone that would guide us through the process and needed to be able to furnish as quickly as possible since we don't live here full time. I sent Nicole an an email stating that we had to make the decision to find someone else to help us with furnishing our home but that we were disappointed that there was not follow through. I have again not heard from her. Today we walked through the store again to look for pictures, decor and rugs. No one even acknowledged that we were in the store. Nicole was there and seems to recognize us but didn't attempt to speak. We so wanted to work with MR and we are not ones to bad mouth a business or person on social media etc. All we wanted was a reason why she didn't care to work with us and why we were snubbed today. I saved up for floors and the installer they sent to install them had no clue how to cut or measure .... Katy had him redo it twice and I made 3 trips after new baseboards because he flubbed more than he got right . plus he was suppose to remove my baseboards and reinstall new but he removed all my trimming also and threw it all away like WTH. This was ongoing for about 3 months. I was not happy and said I didn't want that installer back. I asked for a refund and they said they already paid the installer and could only refund me $450 out of 4,000 I turned around and paid a friend 1,000 to see if he could make it right and he did a fantastic job the only problem taking the flooring out 3 times the edging was all broke up from the company's installer . So I'm sure they won't last. I would never use Mountain Refined because they don't have your back and make excuse after excuse . They didn't even deserve a 1star. read more

She is also an amazing person and so very pleasant. We are from out of town and are thankful to have a retreat home here in Utah. While we were in town, Nicole spent the better part of one day with us - easily and quickly understanding our vision, preferred colors, budget and timeline - and with a few follow up emails after that, helped us furnish and load in the entire home. Everything from the large furniture to accessory pieces to bedding. It has been a wonderful experience and the home is beautiful and very comfortable.
