Main strip, right across from Blake's Family Restaurant. Parking is on the street, although sometimes during busy hours, I park in the Blake's Parking Lot (although there are warning signs that the Blake's parking is for customers only.) Debbie's Barber Shop is almost exclusively walk-ins. Depending on when you go in the day will determine how much you have to wait. Ideally, you want to avoid lunch time, right after school gets out, and early Saturday mornings as they are typically the busiest hours - but occasionally you can gamble and walk right in. The amazing thing about Debbie and her staff is that they learn their regulars. They love chit-chatting about your life and really get to know you. Debbie still remembers what kind of haircut I like even though I may go once or twice a year now since I'm no longer in the area. The haircuts are high quality. I found myself very disappointed with other barbers when I had to go off to college because they couldn't cut my hair as well. Debbie is also extremely fast - my haircut usually takes 15 minutes tops whereas I've had experiences up to 45-60 minutes at some other barbers. The price is good - but because the service is always exceptional, I definitely do not mind tipping the staff. I highly recommend Debbie's for simple haircut needs!

But... yesterday I drove around the oval and I noticed that Arthurs Barber Shop is still in business and I felt compelled to write this review, hoping to bring awareness to this community so they can avoid that place at any cost. Last year I walked into that place and I asked the gentleman who works there for a simple haircut. my hair is fairly curly and I understand some people could have a hard time working on it whilst experienced Barbers have fun doing so because they can do all kinds of fun things such as fade ins and all kinds of designs etc. So to make things simple I asked for a simple haircut. What I got though was the worse haircut I ever had. he literally ruined my hair and when I politely mentioned that it looked uneven he said,"thats how your hair is, nothing I can do about it." To avoid an argument I paid the guy, even gave him a tip and went back to work to be the joke of the day until I borrowed a hat from a friend and was able to cover the ridiculous work he did on my hair. I am not picky about anything. But it looked so bad that I went home planning on shaving my head. My wife didn't let me and she was able to fix it a little bit. I know theres way more important things in life then getting fancy haircuts. but when someone is paying for a service, they expect at least a half decent job. So, Arthur or whatever your name is. Please, close your shop and go work with something else man..Stop ruining peoples days and selling a service that you are clearly not fit to do. Sorry for the long review Folks. He's not trying to sell you products, get you to join a club or retire off a single haircut. It's a great price for a haircut. I'm usually in and out in under 15 minutes. Maybe 20 if there was someone in the chair when I get there. It's great that there's an actual barber shop open on Mondays as most are closed and it's the one day I'm not traveling for work.
