Rod has done our interior painting and power washed the outside of our home. He always does a…read moregreat job and gives you a fair price. For painting he spends extra time helping you pick the colors, giving you benefit of his experience. We did make the mistake of using someone else and will never do that again, Rod is definitely the best....

Rod and his team are were tasked to paint my Raised-Ranch home with an addon. He came by and gave…read moreme an honest and fair estimate that actually came in a bit less than other local competitors. After meeting him and listening to him explain his steps, I accepted his proposal. The key to his work is the prep. He gives the house a complete bleached power wash for mold and algae. Then he and his team proceed to do a very complete scrape job on the cedar siding. He removes as much as the old paint as he can, by hand without the use of those scraper machines (I had one other company here leave marks on the windows and siding due to those things). I also had some old style casement windows that needed extra work which he took his care on. He also replaced any bad siding nails and offered to replace any cracked shingles at a very reasonal additional cost. (a fraction of the cost had I hired a contractor for that job). He initially reccomended two coats of paint but after discussing we decided on three coats due to the fact that my house is not protected by any shade. He also recommended that I change the brand of paint, as the brand I was using didnt seem to adhere very well. Overall, he did an excellent job and I expect the paint to last at least 5 years, although he said he has customers that the paint lasts 10.
