My doctor recently sent a referral for an MRI here, as it was much closer to my home than any place…read morein Syracuse. Not only is it closer, they have appointments available easily a month or two sooner than any place else in the region, it would seem. Certainly a lot sooner than any place in Syracuse! I am a difficult patient to deal with, not because I throw a fit, but because I cannot sit in a chair, and can only walk (with a mobility aid) about 20 feet, and I have severe pain after doing so. I had to lie down on the floor soon after getting to the front desk. This understandably caused a fair amount of distress all the way around, but I had no choice. Rather than getting angry at me, the staff were all very kind and compassionate. They made intake as easy as possible for me, crouching down and helping me with my paperwork. They rolled the MRI gurney all the way down the hall to the doors that opened out to the waiting room. I only had to walk about 15 feet to get to it. They helped me on it, and also got a wedge under my knees right away when I told them I needed it in order to lie still in the machine. When they rolled me into the machine, they of course gave me headphones and asked what my preference was, musically. I asked for classical, and they gave me some really nice soothing music. They also had nice cool air blowing over my face, which helped SO MUCH with feelings of claustrophobia. The tube can get warm and stuffy, so the air REALLY helped me. I ended up meditating on an oil painting of autumn leaves, listening to lovely classical music and enjoying the cool air on my face. They were really kind, checking in and letting me know how much time I had left in the tube. It sounds weird to say this, but I actually enjoyed it. I was a little sad when it was over, even, haha! Yeah, the machine goes ANH ANH ANH ANH ANH TOKTOKTOKTOTKTOK EERRRRRRRRRRR, but the classical helps sort of drown that out, and it's just pretty relaxing overall. I think I might have even dozed off, despite my intense pain. They did everything they could to make sure it was all as painless and stress-free as possible. Once I was done, everyone on staff at the time came out and helped me to my car, walking with me the whole way and making sure I got in the car. I didn't scream or cry at all until I had to get to my car (it was a long walk for me) and I could NOT have made it if they hadn't been there. I cannot express my gratitude for their compassion strongly enough. They are wonderful here. If you need an MRI, this is THE place to go. The people working here are so nice and caring. They should be proud!

The receptionist(Lucy) I believe, is someone that truly needs to be fired and let go of a long time…read moreago. She is so disrespectful does not know how to communicate with patients in a professional, kind matter. She thinks she owns this place and says what she feels like without checking with the providers. I've had a bad experience with her everytime I went there for the past few years. Her attitude and smart comments really bother me. She can't make appointments and has a terrible way of letting people know if it has to be changed like it's your fault. She tried to argue with me this morning that I transferred my records 2 years ago and I can't be seen there anymore. Which is not the case I talked to her this summer about making an appointment and they were booked out til next year so I didn't even bother.,I've never met a more rude person nor have I ever left a bad review in my life. But this really needs to be addressed and I know I'm not the only one who feels this way. But the providers on the other hand are great

For those who are using them for the birth of a child they enhance this special time in your life 10 fold! I had two of my children delivered by two of their midwives and my twins by their Dr. and every experience was beyond wonderful. I'm actually sad that I won't be having more children just because they made it so great and I will miss seeing them so often. :) They are great! I would recommend them to any women seeking the greatest birthing experience or for a comfortable and dependable OB/GYN for any other of your female needs.

Dr. Morell was the first doctor to listen to me when I talked about my knee pain and didn't…read moreimmediately write it off as being weight related or female hysteria. He did a thorough exam and diagnosed me with hypermobile joints super quickly, then asked me questions about other aspects of my health that I didn't even realize were connected until I looked up HSD later. His staff have always been very kind and supportive to me, and it really makes a difference knowing exactly what's wrong so that I can have the right treatment. Also, side note, I think it's WILD that people rate the doctor based on the attitudes of his receptionists. It's not like he's instructing them to be rude - that would be crazy - and he can't micromanage every interaction. Get a grip.

Dr Mathew is thorough, frank and truly cares for his patients. His manner immediately puts you at…read moreease and he takes time to explain his concerns/test results/assessments. My only complaint would be with CNY Cardiology for being dismissive of their patients who see him and scheduling patients with another dr. without consulting them. My husband has a long and complicated medical history. We are at the mercy of the drs overseeing his care and it took YEARS to adjust the delicate balance of his medications so one med did not have consequences on other medical issues. With respect to the other drs there,one simple change can and HAS triggered a series of medical consequences for him. Imagine how "happy" I was when after several medical emergencies, I arrived with my husband to find out that the appointment I gave up so my husband could see dr. sooner was switched to another dr without consulting me first. Give the powers that be are not familiar with personal medical histories/concerns/preferences that seemed disrespect of our RIGHT to make that choice and given that it is by administration rather than a trained medical professional, be aware that such actions could be have ramifications on them as well as the people they serve. I made it clear if it happens again, I will leave and reschedule.
