They offered to whiten my teeth at a discounted price. I only wanted my bottom teeth whitened. I paid in full at the time of the visit. After a year, they sent me a bill for 300 dollars. The bill did not have summary charges. I called the office to request the itemized bill and they refused to send me one. They told me if I don't pay this made up amount that they will send me to collection. It makes me wonder how many people have they scammed over. Shame on you and everyone involved in this scam. I have taken legal action against them. If you do decide to go to this office I urge you to save all your paperwork.

Dr, Honey was very considerate trying not to hurt me while I did have 5 teeth pulled and stitches. I had a hard time understanding Dr. Honey, she is soft spoken and has an accent, plus I'm deaf in one ear which didn't help. Olivia was excellent on explaining for the doc on what I needed done, options and what the cost was. After I left I did have to go back. I was having a problem with the temporary partial. They got me right in. I was nervous because I was bleeding and temp partial wouldn't stay in. Olivia was calm and assuring, was great on working with the rest of the team getting the temporary partial to fit correctly. From the front counter people and all the staff in the back were all efficient and pleasant. I had the teeth pulled a few weeks ago. Everything is healing fine and pain I was getting before I had my teeth pulled is gone. If you hate a trip to the dentist, go to Valley Dental. I had the misfortune of needing my first root canal as an adult and Modern Endodontic Specialists…read morewas where I was referred to go for the procedure, and I'm glad I went. They were very easy to get ahold of, and the receptionist genuinely sounded caring and explained the processes and expected costs of the procedure from the first call. I went to the Fayetteville location, and the staff was on time (doesn't always happen with medical offices) and got me right in the chair. I was feeling a bit nervous, and said so, and Dr. Maloff and his dental assistant were understanding of that. They offered me laughing gas if I needed it (and told me the cost! Which I liked!) but I ended up going without after talking with them. They explained their process - instruments/sharps would pass over me on the right so I should signal with my left hand hand, and they told me most everything that would be going in and on my mouth and what they would do. I asked them to talk a bit since that puts me more at ease, and they did, to the point that I was laughing at their conversations without laughing gas during a root canal! (It is a little weird to cackle with your mouth full of stuff though.) I didn't feel any pain during the process. After I was done I was given good instructions regarding the care of my tooth, and encouraged to contact them if I had any issues. There was a little tenderness in my cheek for a few days after but it was nothing compared to how the tooth felt beforehand. I really liked that the doctor, his assistant, and all of the staff, had a very easy rapport, and clear trust, where you could tell they had been together for some time. Regardless of which of their four locations they're working at, (Liverpool, Fayetteville, Auburn, and Watertown) the doctor and their specific assistant work together. I think the communication between the staff and their patients is a strength of Modern Endodontic Specialists, and while I was nervous going in I left feeling very relaxed, and informed. I would definitely recommend Modern Endodontic Specialists.
