He kept my return for approximately 3 or 4…read moremonths due to program problems (my guess is he is not current on 1031 exchanges and needed help), a funeral, a cruise with his mother, a seminar on taxes among other excuses. I asked him repeatedly how much this would cost but on each occasion he avoided the issue. Total bill $2600+. I am just an average client with a 1031 exchange. I paid $600 last year from an Enrolled Agent due to another 1031. He lost my previous years' copies and I had to request another set from the last EA (she is out of state now and is why I changed). Just one mishap after another. He even had no problem letting me sign for my husband, an IRS no no. I won't be returning needless to say and you should think twice before you choose him.

I was clear and direct and they used my last years taxes to process the currents and still several issues. They even sent it to a different bank/person. They claim they can no longer change what has been done. Also, they chare 125 extra for direct deposit which goes to their pocket, they don't tell you this. They only told me because they wanted to make me feel like they were also suffering as they were out that amount plus the 120 they had charged me upfront when they processed my taxes they had to "discount" for the mistakes they made.

Ron was pleasant and seemed knowledgeable and helpful. He is no more expensive than H&R block. I think if you're a business, you've got to have a working bathroom. I debated saying something, but if others exist who are on medication, then this is a big deal. It's for this reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5. I trust this establishment as much as I trust most others. Ron got the job done and we even had to get creative to find documents I didn't have. I'm not so sure other places would have done that. What I am most upset about is that when asking him about a new business, he told me wait until I had income before filing for it. I did not file for that business last year due to his response that I should wait. So, most business owners are now thinking as they read this that was BAD ADVICE AND WRONG. AND they would be right. I now cannot write off those expenses anymore and they were sizable. So, if you want accurate advice, maybe get a second opinion before listening to Ron. Why not just charge me more? She only wanted Cheryl to do her taxes for her, because of her efficiency as well as her personable personality. My mom passed away last June, and it was my responsibility to get her taxes done for the last time. I also made an appointment with Cheryl, and am so glad I did. She remembered my mom, had all the previous years in a file, and was able to take care of this for me very quickly and once again, the fee was very reasonable. She was wonderful to talk to as well. I expressed my confusion because I had an in person appointment previously. I was told by Athena, the office worker, that's the information she was given and there was nothing she could do. I could drop my documents off or go somewhere else. She was rude, LACKED empathy, courtesy, and professionalism. She shouldn't be dealing with the public. I decided to drop my documents off at the office a few days after my appointment, at which time I Calmly and kindly expressed my disappointment (to Athena) in the way I had been mistreated and displaced. Again no empathy, care or concern. I was once again told I could go somewhere else. Then she abruptly left the room, returning 5 minutes later telling me there was no guarantee my documents would be looked at before the 18th, but Cheryl would file an extension. 3 days later I received my documents back in the mail without a return filed and was told that Cheryl would no longer be doing my taxes. Not once did either one of them apologize for any inconvenience and Cheryl didn't even have the courtesy to speak to me personally. Which is extremely un-professional. She did correct the document from 2020 that she made errors on, which I am noW left to re-file. A little kindness and courtesy go a long way! You won't get that at this office.
