Our tax preparer for our 2020 tax year made a huge mistake on the amount earned she submitted and we got a 10,000 bill from the IRS. After taking multiple days to get a return call the tax preparer asked for the bill and did an amendment to our taxes. It is now almost a year later and the IRS has now sent a bill for $11,000+ to include interest and penalties. Getting ahold of anyone at this company is next to impossible. It would take weeks for a return email or call with zero news. I understand that the IRS moves slow but since she made the clerical error on the form she filled out, I was expecting for the company to pay the penalties which was roughly $2k. Communication from her has been garbage and nothing has been resolved according to the new bill I just got. Now remember this is all because she didn't put the correct amount earned on a form she filled out. I understand sometimes there are mistakes made and of course it's my responsibility to pay what I actually owe. But because of this place I owe the IRS an additional $2,450 in penalties and interest because she said not to pay it and she will amend my taxes. Which I learned means nothing except added interest for not paying earlier. Zero stars if I could. But if this company is willing to pay the $2,450 in penalties due to their own mistake than obviously not zero stars. We'll see. I'm sure it'll take a week to get ahold of someone. read more

Angelica is the best! My boyfriend recommended that I give them a try after I spent over$500 at H&R Block! I was hesitant at first but from the moment I was greeted Angelica made me feel comfortable and reassured me she would check if eligible for any program to help get max return with out all the cost like year prior. Ive gone here for a few yrs now. But no longer will I.. As i did my 2021 taxes with them.. Was charged.. Yet here we are Jan 2022 and irs is saying they never received my papers from ATS.
