Remove your boots at the front if they are wet and put on the slippers provided. Upon walking in, first impressions are the cleanliness of the place and the newest drying machines. This is the first place in this city which I have seen that has the drying machines inserted into the furniture. It looks better aesthetically, rather than having machines out on top of the tables. There are two rows in back and one bar type section for drying nails in the front. There are about 6-8 chairs for pedicures against the wall. The furniture is white which makes the space look larger. The placement of the nail polish is nicely organized and placed in white shelves which light up. There are two people working, the man is named Sonny. He gave me a courtesy card, so after 5 manicures you get one free. They are both very friendly and easy to talk to. If you need help choosing a color, don't be shy to ask for recommendations! The TV plays top 40 videos which you can sing along to since the words appear at the bottom from time to time. They do waxing and ears piercings as well. Always best to make an appointment ahead of time for any of the services. Today I got my shellac removed and then got a shellac manicure. They are the first nail salon in this city which I've been to that uses the butterfly finger clips which hold the cotton in place while it soaks the nail polish in acetone. It replaces the use of aluminum foil. Brilliant! They have pink ones which can be re-used. What I really like is the arm rest which helps you so you don't need to strain your wrist from holding them up. My color today is called " got the blues for red ". Everything took about one hour and I was extremely pleased with the service. I'll be back soon! They take cash, debit and credit card. There is a $0.50 service charge if you use the machine.

She took her time doing my nails while we had a nice conversation together. It was actually a very therapeutic experience for me! Since I work from home, it's always nice for me to pamper myself from time to time and to get out of the house! Lol. I walked away from my manicure feeling better and feeling "beautified"! Lol. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing from beginning to end. 1. Very limited color availability The salon was out of every shellac color I initially selected. I had to repeatedly go through the sample books to find a color that was actually available, which took unnecessary time and was frustrating. 2. Customer service I did not feel welcomed during my visit. The staff mostly spoke to each other in a language I could not understand instead of communicating with me, which made me feel excluded and uncomfortable. Whenever I raised a concern, I felt that the responsibility was placed back on me rather than my concerns being addressed. 3. Product quality Please refer to the attached photos. My shellac started peeling in less than one week. The actual shellac color looked noticeably different from the catalog sample. The polish was so sheer that the tips of my nails remained visible. When I pointed this out, I was told that I should choose a more opaque color next time instead of being offered a solution. Considering that shellac is expected to last much longer, this was very disappointing. 4. Pedicure For me, a pedicure should be a relaxing experience. Unfortunately, I felt that everything was done as quickly as possible, and I left feeling rushed rather than relaxed. I understand this may be subjective, but it was genuinely how I experienced the service. 5. Manicure I am still unsure why, after receiving a professional manicure, I ended up with painful cuticles, peeling skin, and small scars around several nails. This is not something I have experienced after manicures at other salons. I have had my nails done at other places before, so I was not expecting perfection--only the standard of care that most professional salons provide. Update after the appointment After the pedicure, one of my toes had been cut painfully during the service. Subsequently, I developed paronychia (a nail fold infection) in that toe and required medical treatment. I cannot say with certainty what caused the infection, but this occurred after the injury I sustained during the pedicure, which made the experience even more concerning. Overall, based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend this salon.

I walked in and was seated right away to get them done. I explained to her to not, NOT thread a shit ton off and she ensured that it'll be fine, less than 7 mins she does her final touches and I look in the mirror and I am a happy customer! For $5 I am very pleased, (although back home I was just charged $3!) I got a shellac manicure and the manicurist clipped off all my cuticles to the point where it was slightly painful. I was satisfied with the colour and style of my nails and left satisfied. However, only two days later, my manicure began to chip (shellac manicures usually remain fully intact for at least a week). Disappointed, I returned and asked the salon to fix the manicure. They then proceeded to paint two of the chipped nails the wrong colour by accident, despite the fact that I told them the colour I had gotten done only two days before. Thankfully, they didn't charge me for the service, As of today, less than a week after the initial manicure, all of my nails are chipped and look worse than before I got them re-done. Despite the staff being very friendly, I won't be returning due to the poor quality of the manicure.

They are busy so an appointment is recommended. Upon entering, you're greeted by two huge fish tanks full of rufa fish. By dipping your feet into one of these tanks for 15 minutes before your pedicure, you essentially lose a good deal of dead skin. That's right, they eat it right off of you. I didn't try it this time but I'm curious and saw one brave soul squirm for the first 5 minutes of the procedure then she settled in with a magazine. My pedicure ($35) included a workout for my feet. Be prepared for a tough (lots of punching and slapping) foot and lower leg massage and a massaging chair. In and out in a half hour, it was worth the price and I'd go back.
