She is the only person who works there. This salon is by appointment only and you have to wear a mask. Once you walk in she knows you by your name and I always seem to have a great conversation with her. My usual appointment are for eyebrow threading but have gone to her for other services as well. She is meticulous in her work and you leave her salon feeling beautiful. Her prices are unbeatable as well. For the quality of work that she does, I can't praise this lady enough. My first brazilian in MTL took an agonizing 50 minutes, and that has never ever happened to me. I came here upon recommendation of a friend, and honestly I'm never going anywhere else again. I was in and out in 7 minutes, FULLY waxed. Things you need to keep in mind though: 1) You can't come without a reservation, and you have to text--not call-- to get one. She's usually fully booked so make sure to do so in advance. 2) this isn't your beauty spa experience, the place is very basic. Its clean, and for me that's the most important thing. 3) bring cash, she doesn't take card! 4) be prepared to undress in front of her, its not like other places where the aesthetician leaves the room and comes back to see you. I went upon recommendation of a friend because the Montreal winter was wrecking havoc on my skin. I was so impressed with the experience and the results. I'm so glad I decided to go to Alina. Although it's a bit of a trek out to Verdun from downtown Montreal is was so worth it. Alina is located in a small salon just down the street from the Metro station - its so unassuming you might even miss it. Her prices are so reasonable compared to some of the places in central Montreal. I guess that's one of the benefits of being located in Verdun as opposed to downtown. Alina is fantastic. She takes her time and she is very professional and knowledgable. I didn't know a lot about my skin type prior to visiting Alina but she does such a wonderful job of explaining ones skin type, the products she's using and the process she goes through for the facial. The products she uses are wonderful. After a couple of professional facials with Alina, I decided to purchase some of the products for home use. Alina suggested which products would be good for my skin but she in no way pressured me to purchase them (which is sometimes happen when you go for a facial). The products are so affordable for the quality and I swear by them now (although they are much harder to find now that I'm no longer in the Montreal area). I have now left Montreal and I have not been able to find someone who does facials that I am as happy with as I was with Alina. It's a shame because her facials were so good at such a reasonable price. I can't justify spending what some of the places charge now so I've decided to discontinue my monthly facials which is unfortunate because my skin is not nearly in the same great condition it was when I was going to Alina.

I've always been very sceptical to get my nails done because of…read morehygiene problems infections etc. This place recently opened by a couple and a friend who used to work at another nail salon on Taschereau. They put everything they had into this place the decoration really feels like a spa light place very then there's a TV that they play music or music videos just to get a little calmer and relaxing ambience. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. They do regular nail polish all the way to designs and even if it's something that's a little hard for one of them they will tell you I will try my best. The person doing it will take the time until they're happy with the design until you're happy with the design if you don't like it you can change it before everything gets finalized. Apart from the kindness there was one specific experience that made me love the place even more my nails were really brittle so I didn't want to put any fake or acrylic nails and I wanted to do a marble effect on my natural nails which were already very very short. The person doing my nails said I can do it for you but because your nails are very brittle and flimsy it might not last very long, and because the marble look is a little thicker because there needs to be multiple colours it won't look as nice on your nail because it's very short and very flexible. He said I don't mind doing it but it's really up to you I don't want you to have to pay for something that won't last longer than two weeks. For him to actually consider the design and the worth and the value of how much I'm paying and how long it's gonna last I have some thing I really appreciate it it's noches doing what I ask and then it comes off within a week because I am doing things and because my nails aren't as healthy at the moment. In the end we both came to an agreement to do a different design which I still really loved with the colours that I wanted. In that moment I realize that this was my go to place for any manicures any pedicures I want to do for the future because they do care not all need to get paid but they do care for the happiness of the client. I have friends who have come from Montreal to do their nails here and they're very satisfied with the quality with how long it lasts with the overall service that they get.
