Got the razzleberry. Tasted like mixed berries and was decently sweet topped with whipped cream. There's no indoor seating, only outdoors. There's picnic table like seating and a gazebo covered area seating. Came here during the fall where it's warm during the day and cooler in the evening. This place is actually popular in the evening. As a senior citizen i have had a lot of Hot Fudge Sundaes. But this one? It is by far the best I have had. The custard is creamy and perfect in every way. We love Rosati's Frozen Custard. It is so smooth and creamy. They have chocolate and vanilla, and then daily flavors. There are lots of toppings which can be added. There is a calendar of flavors on their website (https://rosatisfrozencustard.com/). Every time we have been there the employees have been friendly. There are walk up windows where you place your order, and then wait for the delicious custard to be served. At times the parking lot can be crowded, and the lines can back up, but it is worth it. They keep the line moving, and the wait has never been long enough to discourage us from going back. They always offer the old standbys of chocolate and vanilla but they also offer a third (or sometimes fourth) flavor of the day option that are always incredibly well done and often really unique. If you go enough times, you'll definitely find flavors that you end up craving and make a point to make a trip to grab a pint or a quart whenever they come back on the menu. Ok I have to say I do enjoy their ice cream. However I have to say, for the money the portion sizes are quite small. They have unique flavors which is cool, but be careful they may run out. Once we went for the Mexican Fried Ice cream and they ran out. They had many disappointed people in line who had even traveled quite far for that specific flavor. I feel as if it the doesn't refreeze well. We bought some quarts and pints to take home and it wasn't the same. I had given it 5 stars before but after tonight and the dinky portions I lowered my rating. I have been to many ice cream places and it is a good place but for the money I would rather go somewhere else. This last visit I wasn't pleased with and it wasn't as satisfying of a visit as it is with most places I go to. I would give it 3.5 stars but ya can't do that on here. So, 3 stars it is. Every town has that small business everyone raves over. Rosati's is exactly that. It has that family-friendly, small town, eveyone-getting-together vibe. I grew up in the Northfield area and lived by this place. I've been here with almost everyone I know! It's the best custard I've had. I wouldn't mind if they changed the menu a bit to accomodate certain people with health concerns and such, but the menu is so classic and delicious as it is. They have a lot of seating in the back, all outdoors. I love walking the track at the middle school in the back or going to the lake to see the ducks.
