We had taken the public bus from Sorrento, and all the returning busses were more than completely filled before arriving in Positano. Patrizio was able to bring us directly to our Sorrento hotel, all the while acting like a professional tour guide. A pleasant, roomy, and air-conditioned van gave us a fabulous end to our day's voyage. I have used Mandara Car Service several times since then, and have recommended it to friends and family visiting Amalfi. Will contact Patrizio again when we return after this COVID nightmare is under control.

They also said I scratched the front of the car (which I didn't). Their brochure also says they dont charge for small scratches. Fortunately I bought damage protection for the car so they said they wouldn't charge me but they still wanted me to sign a document acknowledging that I damaged the car when I did not. Warning to everyone, don't return a car here unless you have damage protection because they'll make something up AND buffer a LOT of time to return because they don't understand operational efficiency.

There is no place to park to return the car other than to abandon it in the beusy street....when you finally get attention from the agent...their first objective is to find any dent, scratch, scuff or blemish. As soon the slightest blemish can be found they are intent on having you file an accident report...even when there has been no accident other than a bumper scuff from the parking lot they suggested,,,even this impossible to see...of course an argumnet followed resulting in leaving the car with them without a resolution or a final invoice.....which comes later via e mail from Europcar. Of course the invoice includes a charge for damages leaving no recourse other than to dipute the charge with your credit card service ... This plus a promised nonexistent parking discount from the recomended garage...which charges 24 euro per day....not the 15 promised by the rental agent. In short skip the aggrevation and hire a driver..o

We ordered a child booster seat but got a baby seat? The car had lots of damage and half of it wasn't listed on the check list. We asked the person at the counter to add all the damage before we left and they got angry and walked away! Eventually they gave me a photocopy of all the damaged but didn't add this to the system. When we returned the car at Bari, the damaged wasn't on the system and we spent 45 minutes arguing about this. Take a video and photos of the car before and after you drop it off, you cant trust them. They also wanted to charge me 100 euros for sat nav which we didn't ask for, after more arguing they dropped this fee.

As a result, I had to pay the higher amount of €88, even though I only received the notice today. This is very unfair and unprofessional. Customers should be informed immediately when there is a fine, so they can benefit from the legal discount period. Instead, their delay cost me more money. I do not recommend renting from this company -- be very careful about hidden costs and how they handle fines.

WOW! WOW! WOW! We're wrapping up four weeks in Europe and…read morethis was one of the highlights! We did the all day premium Capri boat tour and it was fantastic! Here are a few things you might find helpful: We were in the 8:30 departure. You're first stop is Capri where you'll be dropped off. Our return time to the marina was 1:30. So there's time to go to the top if you're smart and go right away. We went to Capri town and while the gardens were worthwhile, the high end shops were just that. And got crowded as the day progressed. Our friends went to Anacapri and took the chair lift to the top and LOVED it. In retrospect that would have been a better choice for us. Make sure you leave time to get back down because there will be lines, maybe long ones. Our group chose not to do the Blue Grotto. They do that after we return so this is something to discuss beforehand, as the time you WILL wait in line for that (1.5 hours had we done it) will cut into the magic that was ahead. Then we went around the island into the little grottos and they even took fun pictures. Then we swam! It was GORGEOUS!!! It's chilly but DO IT. The water is turquoise and truly magical. Antonio and the Captain were fabulous. They made it SO fun, adding a few surprises that I won't reveal . The time in the boat was the BEST! DO IT!!!!!!
