One of the owners was in there, real sweet lady. I asked her "you don't happen to sell any baby formula?" She said "no." As I was walking out the door, dreading heading to Hendersonville or Spartanburg; she asked "does your baby need formula?" I told her "yes, we just ran out." Anyways she went outside to her vehicle and gave me two cans of formula and wouldn't take anything for them. From that point on I was sold. Those are the kind of people I want to give my business. I'll never forget it, and I'll always be grateful for her random act of kindness

The gas pumps are pretty well lit and the area surrounding the gas pumps were swept and clean. The staff is friendly and they do a good job answering questions. This is a good place to stop on a trip.

The station has a traditional Wayne gravity-powered gasoline pump and a kerosene barrel. Several old-timey signs and posters complete the look and if you'll stick your nose against the glass, there's an interior with some other 100 year old memorabilia. The pump technology was a bit frustrating--the tap-pay light was lit green but didn't actually function, forcing me to use the chip reader. To finish it off, the pump ran out of paper when trying to print my receipt. Not the biggest issues in the world, but I prefer using contactless pay and always want my gas receipts.
