A roadside stop that is obviously on the travel groups list because the tour buses do stop here. We got in just as one was parking, and quickly got our order in. What a cool spot. Order at the counter, take a table number and food will be delivered. Several spots to eat but we chose the greenhouse and it gave you the picnic feel! After lunch, we wandered the shop, and found so many treats to take home. We found this on accident and we hope you stop in if you are traveling through !!! I wasn't impressed with the food, but the overall experience adds another star. It's a cafe, gourmet grocery, flower shop, greenhouse and artisans boutique all under one roof. The cafe menu is limited mostly to sandwiches, quiches, salads, and breakfast pastries. I got the Jambon Bio: ham, cheddar, mesclun greens and dijon on a baguette. The amount of ham was really pitiful, I think 2 slices. The greens were boring, only lettuce. We did like the dijon mustard. The baguette was overwhelming for the amount of filling and not the tastiest. Rather disappointing and I thought pretty expensive at $17 Canadian. But it came with soup and salad (no way to order just the sandwich). We liked the soup though, a pureed squash with apple, assertively peppered. Salad? Lol no it was 3 cucumber slices each with a 1/2 cherry tomato on top! In retrospect I should have got one of the hot sandwiches, such as the Croque Monsieur, which looked good on another diner's plate. I liked the selection of soft drinks, and found an interesting fruity soda from a local company. While waiting for our food (order at the counter and they deliver it to the table) and after finishing we perused the grocery. An amazing assortment of gourmet items. I bought two hot sauces that I can't wait to try (didn't get the one made from ants though!) and some tinned smoked fish. Many of the items seemed insanely expensive though. The beer selection was truly impressive; wish I liked beer. Then on to the greenhouse. An amazing variety of plants of all kinds: cactus, ferns, carnivorous, much more. We just looked because we couldn't take them back to the USA, but some were hard to resist. read more

What an amazing find. It's a cafe, it's a florist, it's a greenhouse, plus gourmet goods and even pottery. Three of us came in for lunch, and left fans. Every thing tasted farm to market, fresh, and well prepared. Service was quick and efficient plus the cashier spoke both French and English perfectly. This is a very special cafe. It's actually a nursery and local food store that includes a cafe. If you are coming from the US and going to Quebec City, this place is on the way and only a short distance off the highway. The food here is very healthy with lots of tofu and fresh vegetables. You enter the store and you will see all of the local foods and crafts for sale. On the far right is the cafe ordering area with the restrooms at the far right corner of the store. You form a queue and order your food and drinks at the register. Some items will be given to you immediately and others that require preparation will be delivered to your table. At the register, they will give you a number for your table so they can find you. Now the fun begins. You take your number and any food they gave you and go out to the greenhouse. The greenhouse is attached to the main building, so you don't need to go outside. We went in February when it was 24F. Inside the greenhouse was a toasty 75F and sunny! You can enjoy your lunch in a short sleeve shirt. We had a sandwich from the menu and a squash soup. The sandwich had tofu and fresh vegetables and was served on beet bread. Everything was very fresh and tasty. We think they might grow their own vegetables in their greenhouse. Overall, this was a memorable meal for February and well worth the 2 1/2 hour round trip. read more

Oui. Oui. Oui! This is a perfect stop. My little family of three stopped here en route to Québec City. My baby had an accident on the floor and a gracious employee did not hesitate to help clean up after us. I tried my best to communicate in French how appreciative I was - not to worry, most of the staff speak fluent English. The food was fresh and delicious. The coffee was wonderful. I had a salad with fresh figs from their garden and a slice of quiche. Very rich in flavor, but not overwhelming by any means with a perfectly flaky, buttery crust. The store is stocked with fantastic beer, kombucha, treats, fresh produce. If you don't have time to order from the café, you can definitely stock up for the road. There is plenty of seating whether inside or in the greenhouse. And free WiFi. :) There isn't really anything else in the immediate area...so make this a destination alone. But it's very convenient right off the highway, so it won't add extra miles or travel time to your trip. Bon appétit! read more

We didn't stop for long but what I saw was awesome! Great Americano and loads of Kombucha varieties. There's a nice flower shop adjacent to the cafe and they also sell a wide variety of preserves, market-style grocery items and alcohol. read more

This is a wonderful restaurant. We had soup and salad and my wife had a tomato sandwich and I had a ham sandwich with celery soup. It was excellent. You can sit out in a greenhouse which had a very nice atmosphere. They have a lot of different foods and spices on sale. Really nice people and an excellent somewhat out-of-the-way spot. This place is amazing! We were making the drive from Quebec City to Montreal and did not have high hopes for a place for a quick lunch near the highway. But Yelp led us to this place, RIGHT off the highway exit. It's a sort of farm market with a cafe, groceries & little gifts (soaps and the like), fresh vegetables (mostly grown there we think) and a beautiful large outdoor greenhouse area with tables where you can take your lunch. (Also a small playground for young kids.) We all got salads and croques, which were delicious and reasonably priced. The salad was obviously made from absolutely fresh greens. read more

Delicious!! Very fresh, high quality ingredients. Everyone was happy. They are attached to a grocery and florist. I had the tomato, mozzarella and pesto sandwich. My son had a quiche and salad.
