The spaghetti was ok but you can taste that the meat sauce is sweet. The portion was large but my glycemic index just exploded. I skipped desert and washed everything down with a joe. I should have tried the chicken place down the street. Next time. All in all a traditional resto in a smaller town where you can't push things too far if you wanna stay in business. We feasted on lobster, crab legs, salmon, mussels, escargots2 & the list goes on. The food was great. The buffet was always full every time we went for a refill. They had a great wine list. Pooh ordered the filet mignon and I ordered the ribs and chicken. The filet was cooked just the way Pooh likes it - medium rare. The fries and veggies were also fabulous. The lobster in my sandwich was shredded and had a pinkish colour. It had a slightly pasty texture. It also did not look like the image that showed large chunks of lobster. My client tasted his ravioli and said it tasted off. When checking the filling it was pink also. I'm just guessing, but it almost looks like they cut the filling with salmon. That would explain the colour and fishy / salmone taste both our dishes have. We mentionned it to our server, but she is convinced that it is pure lobster. My client worked in restaurant kitchens for years, and I have a pretty good palette. We were not going to argue with the server, but we do not feel like we got what we paid for. With tables out and inside and us at the bar she manage to take great care of us. Food awesome. We had calamari and mozza pop corn salad and for the main simple tasty pizza and olive oil pasta.
