We recently held a Family Reunion at the Rose Event Center in Broken Arrow OK. The facility rental for the one night event was very, very reasonable. Owner/Manager Michael Wedel was a pleasure to work with! He provided many ideas and helped before and during our event to ensure it was successful! Our party of 50 had plenty of room, to spread out. From the games in the back and an area in front for our older family members. This is an older building that could use a little TLC. Lot of feedback from our family members was been very positive and we all agree that we would book the Rose Center for our next reunion in 2027! read more

WOULD NOT BOOK HERE! had my baby shower at this "event center" the place wasn't very clean...the restrooms were disgusting and the owner was very strange...he was present for most of the shower walking around talking to my guests and making comments about everything...he also was taking pictures of everyone who were taking pictures in front of our party back drop, it was super weird. and when it came time to clean up he followed everyone around telling them how to do things. he was very unprofessional. read more

While the facility was 'decorated' prior to the event, it was NOT clean. We ran around trying to wipe down counters and clean up before guests arrived. Communication with the event owner is unreliable and sporadic. The owner was present during our entire event, which may be common place, I'm not sure, but we did not know he would have his dog at our event the whole time. If you have a low budget for a wedding, this might be your place. There is a room appropriate for a ceremony, a small kitchen area, a flex room and a party room in the back. There is nothing fancy here, just a reasonably clean space. I attended a training with around 30 women (and a couple men) and the bathroom situation was a bit of an issue. Rose Event Center - Party room. - Venues & Event Spaces Near Me - Tulsa, Oklahoma

This is my opinion and based on factual events. Do not use Rose Event Center. We meet Mike one year before our wedding date. During the tour we were not impressed but the layout of the facility worked, we would decorate to make it look great. We went into the time to discuss pricing and it was like "let's make a deal". It was high pressure, and made us a great deal if we signed that day. We did sadly. About 3 months later we went and googled the center for the address for our invitations. OPPS! Numerous BAD reviews, by numerous different people, on numerous web site (IE Wedding Wire, The Knot and Yelp) all reliable sources. These reviews were about different events as well. One even stated he was a no show and all since I rented the center. The next day I called, Facebook messenger and texted Mike's direct cell number. It took him close to 11 hours to reply and then made an excuse about being in a low signal area. When he replied all he could do is state the postings were lies and the customers were crazy. He also wanted me to give him a chance and tried to make a deal yet again. So he offered more free services to attempt to keep me. My wedding day is perhaps one of the biggest days of my life and I wont leave it to chance. Based on the reviews and Mike's 10plus hour delay in responding I don't feel I can trust him to be there and deliver what he stated. When I told Mike I was canceling based on these reviews and his actions he threatened to sue me. During these conversation he was rude, threatened me with lawsuits and refused to refund my $200 deposit. My wedding isn't until 4/2020 more than enough time to re-book the venue. Please don't just rely upon what I am stating, but read the reviews on google, wedding wire, yelp, and the knot. Make your choice. I did. read more

DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE!!! I booked this place for a graduation party for my daughter complete with limo and photo booth. The day of the event the doors were locked and the lights out. I booked a month in advance. I was told to be there at 1:30 for set up and 2:00 the limo would pick up my daughter. She had her friends at the house waiting on said limo. We showed up for set up and the place was closed!! I called, left multiple messages, left a message on the Facebook Rose Event Center page, sent a copy of the contract I signed with times and booking, and even my daughter called Mike Wedel, the owner. Nothing. 2:00 rolls around. No call back or message of Mike Wedel. I make more messages. We decide to leave and change venues and move the party and I would deal with him if he ever called back. I got a call back and got nothing but excuses!! He even called my daughter and made more excuses and was very disrespectful to her and her friends while he was on speaker. I was told he thought I cancelled the event. If I had, I wouldn't be at the event center waiting. I was told he didn't take texts or have Facebook messenger. That's how we contacted in the first place!! I had to give him screen shots of text conversations and yes I demanded a refund. After his countless efforts and more excuses to get me and my guests to still have the party there I eventually got my money back after multiple requests to do so. He told me I should have called him to remind him of the event. I saw him put it in his event calendar and make a contract copy!! It's not my job to make sure a businessman does theirs! He even was told me he called me and he did not. Then he said he didn't have my phone number, yet he had texts with my number on it. After I booked this place, I spoke with a friend who's husband so happens to be related to Mike. I was warned he was shady and will take your money and not a good person to do any type of business with. I did get my money back after catching him in his lies and actually having to threaten to take the legal route. I'm married to a lawyer and it would have gone that far. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PLACE. YOUR MONEY WILL BE TAKEN AND IT WILL BE A FIGHT TO GET IT BACK!!!! read more

We booked our saturday event here, and we are so glad we did! Mike was very pleasant from the begining. Anytime we needed something he was quick to make sure we were taken care of. We will use this venue again for sure. read more

Had my daughters Sweet Sixteen at Rose Event Center. Her and her friends had a good time! Great for dancing!

This place was great! We held my wife's graduation party here. The guy that runs this place has things pretty well figured out and it is well-organized and well thought out for an event venue - it has multiple rooms and a nice dance floor area, a bar area, a kitchen area and a couple of game rooms - most places that you can rent suck if you are having an event where where a lot of kids are going to attend because there is nothing for them to do - this place is fun and has things that help to keep the kids entertained. read more
