Decided to give this place a shot to find my son his costume for Halloween. The gentleman was an amazing help! He was knowledgeable and even my boy said he was amazing! He alone should get 5 stars. He made my kids day! The store does have an amazing selection and sizes. Pricing isn't bad. I would say very comparable with what's online. Not to mention they will let you take costumes out of packaging to try on to make sure it fits. This is a must with a kiddo like mine who is 6 years old, but wears a 7-10 in some things. The dressing rooms are very tiny, cramped and dirty (FYI) Either owner or employee has a small dog NOT on a leash. They said he has an issue with being touched around his face and will snap but doesn't bite! The dog came up to my SN kiddo. Given my boy has a service dog (and his LOVE for animals), the dog presented himself as loving, so my boy said, "who is a good dog?" The dog proceeds to take the submissive roll over scratch my belly flop. My boy goes to rub his belly and the dog snaps at my boys hand. He got freaked out. They claim he doesn't bite, but he did. He got my boys thumb. Nothing serious at all, just a nick by his upper nail bed, but nevertheless he shouldn't be out if there is a chance he can snap. My boy never did anything to scare him. So I was pretty upset. It bothered him the rest of the day, and given my boys weak immune system a dog bite could be horribly dangerous! The dog should not be roaming store especially if young kids are in the store! Period! read more

I was really expecting this place to be disgusting based on the previous Yelp review. It wasn't THAT bad. Pros: - This place is WAY more spacious than the previous location. - Things were clean and organized. - Helpful staff that stopped to ask if we needed help with anything. - TONS of Halloween costumes - Prices were comparable to other party stores in Tulsa. Cons: - LIGHTING. How do they expect us to see what colors things are if it's so DIM?! - Old products. It's obvious they took everything they had at the old Ehrle's and moved it here. There were party kits that still bragged about having a cassette tape to provide ambiance. In the future, I'll probably skip this store and go straight to Party City.... read more

Cons: 1. You have GOT TO make that place more presentable. 2. Even more important, and maybe the most important of ANY business is your online store. At a minimum, it should at least show ALL the products you sale. 3. Individual at register was on a personal call when i walked up. I know this because she apologized for being on a personal call (Ha). She continued the conversation for about two minutes before attending to me. Pros: (why the five stars you may ask) 1. They were the only ones who had EVERYTHING i wanted in one location. 2. One of the workers agreed to meet me after store hours to return an item. Tell me any, not just a party store, but ANY store that will offer to do that for a customer. And this is the reason i can over look the cons & wont bother shopping around next time. read more

I was looking for makeup for my clown, Glammie. I needed something that would work better for my eyelashes and my lips. The ladies were SO helpful. They took me over to show me the makeup they have in stock and shared the pros and cons of each type. I found a completely fabulous pair of eyelashes for Glammie, which they gave me a discount on, and although I wasn't able to find anything for her lips, I left with some good ideas. They were interested in seeing photos of Glammie and since I'm always so excited to share the story, that made me happy. I've driven by Ehrle's so many times but had never gone in until this visit. This place can be messy and disorganized as has been mentioned in the other reviews, BUT they have a lot of items that other October-only party stores don't have. Plus, they're open year round! I wish they carried: 1. Better quality wigs -- If we can order a good quality cosplay/costuming wig for $10 from China but have to wait 5 weeks to receive it, we would be HAPPY to give you $30-40 for that same wig in order to get it the same day. 2. Better quality make-up, such as Kryolan, Ben Nye, Snazaroo, etc. They only carry Mehron, which is subpar in the costuming makeup community. read more

This is the same old ehrles just in a nicer building. Although they have been in the new location for over 6 months, you can't tell it by the condition of their store. Disorganized racks, dingy lighting, products on the floor and out of reach. It really is a disaster. I'll give them 1 star for having a big selection of products, although good luck finding anything, and 1 star for good costume selection. The pricing is mediocre. I stopped in on my lunch hour to get some balloons and candles for my husband's upcoming birthday. Being that I'm not familiar with this store and was on my 30 minute lunch break I thought I would go to the counter first to ask about what I was looking for. I asked the lady, "Do you have helium balloons?". She said, "I don't know what you mean, we have balloons that can be filled with helium." With a tone in her voice and look on her face that she might as well have called me an idiot. It was obvious she didn't want to be bothered. She did answer my question about how long the helium asked. I really hated to put her out any further but I was looking for very specific candles and asked where they would be. She said she would show me and started walking but the tone in her voice was that of which I was an inconvenience. I told her I just needed to know where they were so I had an idea where to go look because I only had 30 minutes for lunch but she stated that's what she's there for. Apparently she is there to let customers know they are putting her out. She didn't want to help me and that was clear the minute I walked in. I did buy the candles because they are hard to find but I will not be going back for the "balloons you can have filled with helium" as several places offer those and I will never return to this store for any other reason in the future. I'll spend my money somewhere that has more pleasant customer service. read more

This place has everything. Yes it can get a little messy but I find that their staff always helps me find exactly what I need. There is not another place in town that carries the selection they do. Party City just doesn't cut it when it comes to variety and Ehrle's does. Can't wait for Halloween just right around the corner. I will definitely get my costume at Ehrle's because they have more selection than anyone in town. read more

Visited Ehrle's this past Monday after going to every costume place open during the Halloween season. I always keep it as my last stop because it is very cluttered and was pleasantly surprised when I found they had moved to a better space. I was on the hunt for some very basic, yet specific items (bunny teeth, bunny tails without sparkley crap, March hare costume) all of these items I could only find online. I found EVERY ONE at Erhle's and it made my day! Not only that they were the same price or slightly less expensive than online. I should have went here first and will from now on. I even found a fancy purple velvet bow tie. When I found the bunny teeth and perfect bunny tails, it was a magical moment to turn around and find the March hare costume I had only been able to find online! It still is a bit cluttered but it wasn't worse than All the other costume places in town right now. They get 5 stars for having the basics and the unique items that I didn't see at the other shops that day. read more
