I cannot say enough about Stoney Creek. I attended a conference at the hotel and start to finish, the accommodations and service were impressive. I loved the coffee spot next to the check in desk - it was surprisingly VERY good - and free! Rooms were cold and clean. Exercise room was small and warm - the air didn't seem to work well - but the area surrounding the hotel was perfect for a walk. What impressed me most was how they treated my dear friend who had an emergency- they comped one night because she had to leave with her and showed her incredible compassion. Check in online is fast and easy, front desk staff is efficient and helpful. Lobby and hallways are very well kept for a almost 10 year old hotel. Rooms are well maintained and clean. All in all a very nice hotel tucked away in Tulsa / Broken Arrow. This place is swinging way above its class, I have paid way more for way less quality before. The hotel was clearly overwhelmed and understaffed for the number of guests. The hallways were full of trash, and it was impossible to reach the front desk because the phone just rang and rang. Check-in took over 15 before anyone came to the desk due to the limited staff while the hotel was fully booked for a conference. I understand busy weekends happen, but basic cleanliness, adequate staffing, and guest communication should not suffer. Overall, the experience felt chaotic and poorly managed. read more

We've stayed at this hotel a couple of times. It is located across from the bass pro shop. If you're a rewards member, you received 20% off room rates and you get two drink tokens for the bar. The rooms are clean and decorated nicely. The first time we stayed in a two double room and it was a good size but there isn't too much space to walk around. The next time we stayed we got an extended king suite which had a sleeper sofa, a king bed and a bunk bed (twin over queen). There was plenty of space for our family of 5. The breakfast is pretty good. The pool is indoor and outdoor but they never have towels. It's pretty frustrating. Overall, I'd recommend staying here. I know our family will return. read more

The check in and check out process was very easy. Free breakfast available with your stay with a good amount of options. This hotel is decorated nicely, but when you get there it's not very clean. I stayed at Stoney Creek Hotel in Tulsa for a conference that I was presenting at. The check-in process was very smooth (I was also able to check in early which was great so I could go and explore the area more before work mode). The front desk staff were very kind and even had some suggestions for dining options as I meandered around. The room was clean and the bed was super comfy. I was nervous about being so close to the elevator that the noise would wake me up but it didnt. The Blind Buffalo bar was very nice - but the bartenders did seem like they got overwhelmed very easily. The only reason for the four stars instead of five is that the contenintal breakfast was very small and limited than others I have seen. If I am ever back in the Tulsa-Boken Arrow area - I will definitely stay here again. read more

There are many more hotels in the area to choose from, this place is dangerous for multiple charging dates and fees! They charged our business card and my personal card! After 7 or 8 phone calls. Leaving messages, no calls returned and then after being on hold for a long time, I finally got someone. They refunded my personal card but refused refused the third charge. read more

Cortney the bar tender is a little rude and think she can catch people bringing alcohol into the bar and accuse people of it and continue to harass the party while doing there doing business at location. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place! Beautiful decor, updated western and super friendly clean place. Several restaurant/Food options and safe area. Great breakfast included as well. I was upgraded to a suite because of my VIP status on a 3rd party booking site and let me tell you, it was amazing. 700 sq ft King with sofa bed. Had a huge walk in shower and separate soaking tub! It even had a nice full bar that served a few items and was OPEN LATE on a Wednesday night such a huge BONUS that we didn't have to leave the property as we got it kinda late:) The bed and room were top notch, nothing cheap and price was EXCELLENT. read more

Remind me to you the story of a 107+ room hotel under the care of a 23 year old front desk clerk and a bartender! More to come!.. I have attached a photo of the headboard in my "luxurious" room. After 6 days.they are incapable of making a bed properly! Two years ago during my first stay housekeeping put the sheet on sideways we could never get it to cover our feet! Two years later, and they are still incapable of making a bed! While tv are almost required in hotels having two 5 feet apart is ridiculous! The remotes kept working for the other tv! After we've checked out and the manager promised to credit me for night They credited me for 1 night and then charged me for that same night! Stay away from this hotel you don't want to stay there. Especially after you speak with the manager and I told you are a bizarre individual because you don't get the credit! I have received yet another,different invoice! So far I have 2 separate invoices for 2 separate amounts and yet another amount on my credit card. I don't know what I owe these people but I want to pay them so that I can forget the whole miserable experience and stay away from Ryan, the manager he doesn't belong in hospitality! Very pretty hotel. Large room, when we got to our room the key didn't work. Went back to the front to get it rekeyed, as was told not to place it near the clock so it won't happen again. We literally just walked straight to the room and it did not work. Coffee in room were all decaf. Asked the front desk for regular coffee, was told they ran out and the lay there was regular coffee in the lobby, when we tried to pour coffee, it was cold and running out. Told the front desk and all he said was "thanks for letting me know"... nothing more. Really? I'm a VIP member and expected a bit more service than what was offered. In fact, just any regular guest should be granted better customer service than what we received. Nice indoor and outside pool and lounge area. Breakfast buffet available. read more

The staff, all of them, were happy, friendly, helpful, and 150% dedicated to their patrons having the best experience possible. Came for my husband's conference. The pictures online do not match the venue itself. Pictures make it seem you are going to a quaint rustic hotel. It is basically a normal hotel decorated rustic. Check in took a king time. There was always a line at the desk. One person working, sometimes had a line of 10 people waiting. Breakfast had hot options, pancakes, eggs, bacon, breakfast potatoes, cereal, fruit. Bathroom was shower o my, no tub if that's important to you. Parking was good, plenty available. There are options close by for food, including fast food and sit down restaurants. Location is right off the highway, east access. Called day before check out to ask for a late check out to accommodate meeting schedule. Was told to call back the morning of at 0700 to ask at that time. Called back next morning, waited 10 minutes after being place on hold. Was told they can do a complimentary 30 minutes, but any additional time would be charged. Really needed one hour. It would have been nice to been explained this the day before when we called to make plans. In all our travels, have never encountered this. Communication would have been nice. I coming back to the area, this would not be my choice hotel. read more

First time here and the hotel was Amazing, staff were courteous, helping and an enjoyment to talk to. There customer service was what youd expect coming to a hotel. As for the room and other common areas, all very clean and up kept. If I am in the area again I will definitely be stopping and staying here. My only issue was the bar at the time no longer served food. I am unsure if they brought this back but at the time there was no food. The indoor/outdoor pool combo was awesome to see as many hotels no longer offer this option and the hot tub was awesome as well. However I didnt utilize these areas as they were full of kids, I imagine next time I will. read more

We were staying for 8 nites - on the third day housekeeping was supposed to do our room. Got to the room about 7pm - the bed had been stripped but not remade - room was not vacuumed, besides the trash and towels nothing was done. THE WORST PART WAS THE STRIPPED BED!! Called down to the front desk only to discover that the only folk running this joint was a 23 yo receptionist and a bartender. ARE YOU KIDDING ME! 700 ROOMS ANA 23YO!! BUG IN BED ! You can't imagine how disappointed I am in this hotel. Don't let your friends or family stay here. I had my nephew and his family in last week and on their first night the got up in the morning and his wife's ankle was all bitten up. They tore the bed apart and found the bug in the attached photo. They also found a brown stain on the comforter. They brought this to the attention of the front desk. I contacted the hotel myself when they told me that the hotel said they would take $50 off their bill. I ask to talk to the manager but was told that the GM was out of town. Spoke with the Housekeeping Manager, who did less than nothing, including returning any of my calls to see if she spoke to the GM as I requested. I recommended this hotel to out of town guests based on recent reviews, which I myself depend on when traveling. They told me they were disappointed in everything but the bed. The bedspread had an obvious stain on it... so was the bed clean? If it was just the bedspread that was stained, was it clean or re-used? The bathroom sink didn't drain well at all. The handles on the faucets didn't work properly. The shower handle & trim ring were loose and looked like they might fall off. Lobby decor was nice. read more

Kendall/Ryan, I checked into room 308 Stoney Creek Broken Arrow, Tuesday the19th December. On Wednesday morning as my children and I were headed out, I requested my room to be cleaned and new towels I asked for a new ironing board because the first one was placed in our room without a cover (I'd be so embarrassed with an establishment where I spent $2000 to leave an ironing board with no cover in the room) and I asked for a new iron because the iron in my room had such a black scorched bottom that it would transfer onto our clothes, and I asked for a lightbulb to go over the mirror of the bathroom since 3 or the 4 worked. Come back in Wednesday evening, I HAD NO SERVICE AND NO MADE BEDS NO NEW TOWELS, they had replaced the lightbulb but that was it!!!!! Said they would give me drink coupons, I asked why would you give me something when you haven't even asked if I like to drink and since I am not a drinker, coupons are irrelevant/moot point. So I was told I'd get something in place - I requested a discount. Well the manager never got back to me... On Thursday morning, I asked for a bunkee board replacement or mattress replacement to the whole we had in the foundation of the lower bunk bed. My children had a hard time sleeping on it and of course that did not happen. On Sunday Morning, I requested an overnight stay...before we left out for church service, I sat all the dirty linens outside the room...when we returned to our room at 6:50 pm, WE AGAIN HAD NO SERVICE. No beds made, 6 nights at a hotel and you'd think I'd be able to get one service in my room without asking and on the days I did ask/request overnight, I never rec'd that either. Came back to the room with no towels for myself and my 3 children. No made beds, not trash taken out. NOTHING. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. So I go ask for an evening manager, was told no one was on duty. Then the front desk asked for someone available to help us out...well that was a fight too, the evening desk guy said he couldn't believe the response given to him by the only housekeeper or person available to assist with this service. This has been truly the worst stay...6 nights, Christmas time, 3 requested times of service and I had to return to my room on every asked occassion to find my room not touched and then have to get frustrated because all the signs posted on the front desk/hallways and elevators that say we can ask for overnight service never happened so I had to have a relaxing stay turn in to complete SHIT because this hotel is so substandard to all the postings around the hotel. This hotel disgusts me!!! The people I dealt with are obviously incompetent, but yet, I am the one made to feel that it is my fault that the requests never were met. This is ridiculous. Beautiful place. Bed is wonderful. It's very quiet even though it is very large. If you have mobility issues I would recommend requesting a room close to the lobby area when booking. The only thing remotely negative is the seating in common areas. Although plentiful it is all very low. Makes it difficult for us baby boomers to crawl out of lol. All of the bathrooms have showers no tub which I'm fine with but no grab bars. Toilets are very low too (again a grab bar would be helpful) Breakfast & coffee are both good! I tried to book a party there. I contacted the banquet sales team. I emailed them what I was wanting to do and that I could come up there to see the rooms and talk about it more. Hayden Donohue, Sales Manager, contacted me back and sent me the room rental and catering menu. I emailed her twice, went up there and looked at the rooms myself. Never heard back from her. I am also a wedding planner and I work in banquets for a big company, so I know it can get busy, but to not respond back to people. I just ended up giving up at trying to have my party at that location. Obviously, they didn't want my business because they never responded back. Salespeople are there to bring business in. If they cannot talk with the customers in a timely manner, your losing potential business. As a wedding planner and coordinator, I personally will not tell people to book there. read more

There is a really large and nice bar area, inside/outside pool, a fitness center, business area, a sitting/ lounging area, and even a quiet library area. The place is stunning! Update: After more than seven days I've absolutely f'n had it with these people. First, we order a king room at every hotel because we have a less than 2 year old daughter with a pack n play to sleep in. Front desk insisted we only get a double double room. Against my better judgement I caved because we're tired from being on the road all day. King rooms allow for us to put our daughter in a good place to sleep. Here, we had to put her close to the AC unit in the room. She's still sick from catching a cold. Second, we left some personal items in the room. They don't mean much to anyone and that's fine. But the only reason we're on the road is because my Gramma died. While caring for her funeral, etc, it was found that my mom had stage 4 cancer. She died 2 weeks later. The items we accidentally left in the room were from both of these women and meant alot to us - one an heirloom to pass on to my daughter. I've called and left multiple messages .. no call backs. I've called and talked to different people, they say they'll call back .. no call backs. We've emailed. No response. During our stay here I went down for coffee at 9:45am. I know specifically it was 9:45am because I was rushing to beat the 10:00 shutdown of breakfast. When I got there, at 9:45am, everything had been taken down. I asked to fill my coffee and the lady in the room acted so b**chy and snarky I walked away mid eye roll and in the middle of her rant. The best part of our stay at this hotel was the pool. Our daughter had a great time there and talking to other guests tell us they're never staying there again just gave us validation of the sh*t kind of people that work and run this place. Not one f'ing call back after at least 20 calls, each person saying they take my number down to call back. read more

We stayed here for 2 nights while visiting family in Broken Arrow. The hotel is very nice, the decorating is contemporary and different than chain hotels. The room we had was spacious with a separate living space with a TV, desk, sofa and a massage chair. The bed was comfy and there were plenty of pillows. The parking area in the back is huge. I just wasn't really impressed with the pool area and the water looked a little cloudy. The bar was not open- it's only open on Friday and Sat nights. I wish they had maps on the property amenities so I didn't have to ask the front desk . The layout is a little confusing. The lobby is on the bottom floor. If you park in the back lot, you enter in the 1st floor. The breakfast area, pool and laundry are on the 1st floor. It would also be nice if they provided local restaurants and sights to see in Tulsa and the area. Perhaps the Chamber of Commerce could work on that. There is a Bass Pro Shop within walking distance and a good Mexican restaurant that we ate at. read more

Apparently if you have an extended stay, housekeeping doesn't come until the 3rd day, which means I had to ask for towels both times. This place is the worst hotel I ever stayed at. We went to book our weekend months ago and their phone system kept sending us to a third part site do we never got our discounted rate. We are paying more than double what all the other people at our event are paying. The hotel says they can not do anything about it. Not only are the showers in the hotel deadly but they take advantage of all their customers and just laugh it away and blame things on their third' party associates who pay them to screw the customers.
