The reviews speak highly and from long time clients, I made the appointment. I met Sam for my hair cut, I asked for a fox cut...he said do you mean a wolf cut? lol! Thank goodness he has a sense of humor, with a handsome, friendly smile that put me at ease. I am 57, lovin' my greys and whites, but wanted to try something easy to style, hip enough to keep it long and fun - a change! Sam was quick, super efficient and confident cutting the style I wanted. I had highlights/lowlights done last summer which darkened the overall look of my hair and I decided I liked being lighter. He did tell me at the start of the appointment that it would take two visits to get me as light as I want, but he could've done a lot more for me in one appointment. He put a "full head" of foils on my roots, but did not put any highlight in the body of my hair. He also over-toned it to a very boring and blah shade of beige. During the visit he asked if I could help put his foils together which is not really a huge deal, but if I'm paying close to 200$ for my hair I would like to feel pampered not doing work. He also got one of his students to wash my colour out, and she was quite awful at it as half of my foundation on my face was gone afterwards. I seen no change in my hair after the appointment, was a complete waste.
