Horrible RACIST Establishment. I will never patronize this business and I will be spreading the word to my friends, colleagues and followers to not patronize them either. I was unbelievably humiliated by Kevin the owner. I have been going to this business with my daughters since moving to Delaware over a year ago, they aren't the greatest but they were local. After how I was treated last time I was here I will never step foot in there and I will be reporting them to BBB , NAACP and other organizations that will not tolerate Racial Discrimination. At the end of my service when I went to pay there mobile pay machine was not working after several failed attempts I was reluctant to try another card . I told Kevin I was going to Food Lion to get cash since it's free of charge . He shockingly asked me to leave my belonging behind as proof I would return for payment. I told him I was absolutely not doing that. He then instructed the woman Jennifer who did my toes to follow me to Food Lion to make sure I returned. She followed me to the supermarket which was about 20 ft away directly to the register where I was getting cash . I gave her a $10 tip and she followed me out the store I stepped into the curb to take a picture because I knew I was going to write a review she thought I was leaving and ran to the shop saying I only gave her $10 not the whole $50. The owner Kevin came out yelling at me saying I owe him money and yelling obscenities at me when I explained that was just her tip Jennifer then said "Oh My tip, I sorry" her exact words. I then said it was your tip but now you can put it towards the bill since you fought as low of me as Kevin did. I gave him the remainder $40 and told him how insulted and I offended I was by his actions . All he kept saying was "I don't care You go somewhere else" . I have been to this shop and seen numerous people not ethnic tell them they were going to the ATM or grabbing their wallet from the car and was not treated like this. They take appointments, they just don't keep them. After 20 minutes, they move you to a pedi chair where you wait another 15 mins. Adrianna is amazing at what she does, the managers are the ones that are incompetent, and I waited over an hour and an half past my scheduled time to be seen, then was over charged for my nails. They over book and then ask customers to stay and say they'll be "quick" which leads to them waiting 45- an hour to get there nails done. would 100% recommend Adrianna but because of the service the management provides I will never be going back. read more

Zero stars! Beware of Rose Nails next to Food Lion in Millsboro. I had a pedicure at this place three weeks ago . The technician cut into the side of my toe causing an infection on my toe which required a Dr visit, antibiotics and a prescription antibiotic cream. I went to talk to the owner and technician to show them my toe. They did not reimburse me for the Dr visit or two prescriptions. The owner named Kevin was nasty and belligerent. The technician Lisa said don't worry that she will take care of me and I should come back to have it done for free next time. (Today was next time) She knew she was too rough on my toes. I was promised a free pedicure the next visit by Lisa .. Just showed up for my appointment(pedicure) was taken outside by the technician and told she could not do my toes or she would be fired since she does not own the place. NEVER SHOULD'VE WENT!!! If I could rate 0 stars, I would. Let the owner say something to me about this, they're lucky I even paid!! I've never been more upset about a company then right now. I will be posting on Google under their business as well. For starters, I had made an appointment at 10:45 this morning for 2pm the same day. The earliest they had available was 11:30 because it was too late to get an 11am appointment. I went on a Saturday afternoon. I walked in, a man upfront asked me what I was there for, he was very sweet, don't know his name. Told him about my appointment and told me to sit down and wait, didn't say how long but made jokes because I had my boyfriend and brother walk in with me for a minute, he was very polite. The real problems didn't start until I was going to be charged 70 dollars for a basic, gel polish square nail with rhinestones in the shape of a heart, the reference picture I showed was the first I added. My nail tech, who I believe was named Tom was confused, very hard to understand, and didn't speak much English. At first he cut them into an almond shaped when the picture I had showed him and what I verbally asked for was square, I could sense that he was already getting annoyed because he had to take off ONE nail that he cut wrong. I also asked him to make them just a hair shorter then the picture, he cut them to the picture and asked me if that was okay, which I thought would've been easy to do but he completely filed them to the length they are now. I didn't say anything about the length because he was already moody about the process, which I could tell by his tone of voice and I didn't want him to have to change all of the nails. After he added the acrylic, I could see that my thumb nail on my left hand was CROOKED, completely diagonal, slanted to the right side which you can see in the fourth picture I added. When I said something, he thought that I meant it was too thin on the left side of my nail and too thick on the right, so he added more acrylic to the left side, a lot more acrylic making the one side way too thick. He kept filing and filing my nail until it was so much smaller then the rest of my nails. I had to ask him to fix it 3 more times, each time he got more aggressive with trying to look at my finger to see what I was seeing. I finally was just done with trying to have him fix it and asked him to finish up with what he had on my nails and only paint my nails with the color I wanted because I was just ready to pay and leave, I didn't want the rhinestones anymore. He said it would only be 50 dollars and then tip added on. When I went to go pay is when I also had an issue, I didn't have any cash and wanted to use the ATM to get cash out to pay tip, because tip was only accepted in cash. Before I was seated I realized that the ATM had said "OUT OF SERVICE" and had asked when I sat down if the ATM was working, which HE SAID IT WAS. When I said I needed to get cash he said it wasn't working so I had to pay with card and do tip in cash. I told him I wanted to get cash out, he said that I didn't have to pay tip since I didn't have any cash on me. I gave him my card and he said he had to charge me a $3 surcharge because it was a card. There was a sign on the cash register that said that a surcharge fee will be applied to "ALL DEBIT/CREDIT CARD TRANSACTIONS" but the issue here is that "ALL DEBIT" was crossed out in black marker. When I said that the card I had was a debit card, he pointed to the sign proving himself wrong. I showed him I had a debit card and he threw his hands up and said "Whatever, I charge you $50". When he handed me back my card I asked for a receipt which he seemed to have a problem with. I wish I didn't pay because I didn't get what I wanted but I didn't want to be a horrible person. read more

I was a walk in a few weeks ago... I come in and they immediately take me, which was a good sign because I didn't have much time. I work 50+ hours a week. So they start me, dremel all my polish off and and cut my nails haphazardly, & then tell me they have an appt and CANT TAKE ME NOW. They kept telling me to wait until after their appointment was done.... Im not even upset there were clients with an appt...Im upset they did not respect my time, only trying to make as much money as they can. They could've told me to come back and I would have before they started. So now my nails look horrible, and they CHARGE ME 5 DOLLARS FOR REMOVAL... even tho they didn't even finish REMOVING. Very surprised that I got scammed by Rose Nail Salon. A women came over to check on everything the technician was doing and told me I need this upgrade and more upgrades. Even when he showed me a written paper of the cost if services they tried to get me to pay more. Then she told me I had to pay $5 more for polish unless I wanted clear! We called for two pedi appointments and were given a time, but not asked for our names. When we got there, there were about 8 people in front of us and the person that asked if they could help us laughed when I told them that we called. My daughter and I each had the $50 spa pedis, which made me think that I was going to be happy with the "upgraded" service. While the ladies were nice, the work was extremely shoddy. My technician didn't even completely paint my nails! Less than one week after the service, my left toe has become infected and GREEN. The right toe also looks to be going in that direction as well. Now we can't remember if we saw the ladies sterilizing the tools or not. I will NEVER go back and am praying that I don't need to see a podiatrist to fix whatever they did to me. My sisters and I decided to treat ourselves to pedicures for 2 of us and a manicure for the other. I had no idea what a special treat this would be!! We splurged a bit for the luxury pedicure and gel polish, but it was so worth it! The sugar and hot stone massages felt wonderful, the lotion was amazing and erased years of dry skin on my legs and my toes look beautiful to boot! The first time I went me and my mom went and Kevin was very rude as soon as he realized he was doing my nails he was rude. he was yanking my hand and made me bleed. the second time I went I got a person in training and he was very nice,he just didn't know what he was doing. about 1/2 way through, I got switched to Jenny. She was also nice but we spend 30 minutes on my cuticles. I know my cuticles were bad, but I don't think they were that bad. We spend from 6:29-7 on my cuticles. Do NOT go here! It is the absolute worst nail salon experience I've had in 20 years!! The place is filthy, rap music is blasting loudly in the reception area and the woman who screams from the back cannot be understood. Very unprofessional unfriendly environment! The techs do not speak English. The one I had spoke Spanish only she didn't say one word to me the whole time, not even hello. She wasn't trained to use the dremel tool to file down acrylic nails, instead she used a nail file and scraped the sides and bottoms of all my fingers while sanding and sanding and SANDING the tops of my nails. It hurt like hell. When I pulled back, she texted me then showed me on her phone- does it hurt she asked? Um. Use a dremel tool next time, you wore my fingers down to blisters! A regular fill-in of regular acrylics generally runs $18-25 depending where you live. I was utterly shocked they told her to charge me $53!! I said for a regular fill-in?!! I literally walked out with wet nails, no tip, never looked back. It is the worst of Sussex County. Do NOT step foot in their door, you will be sorry.
