Super cute little find in WC! We stumbled upon this place and are so happy we did. The shop is pretty small and on one of the side streets. Not a ton of seating indoors, but a cute window area with cushions. We got 12 of the mini donuts in a variety of flavors. They are hand dipped and decorated once you order and were delicious! The fluffer nutter and chocolate sprinkle were our favorite. Husband and I got mochas that were good. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We will be back. read more

This shop has good reviews, so maybe this was a random experience, but I went in with my family and ordered a latte and a donut. The donut was not good, but more importantly the woman behind the counter had three small children and she was allowing them to help make my food. A child of maybe five in gloves put the sprinkles on my donut while openly coughing. I understand she's a mom, I'm one as well--which is why I would never in my wildest dreams let my six year old help make food I sold to a customer. It was after I paid that this happened and it was so weird, I had no idea what to do. I uncomfortably took a bite and drank half my drink and ended up trashing them wishing I had said something. If you're reading this--kids making food is only cute if it's your own kids. To the rest of us, it's a health code violation. read more

Donuts are so good, and I got a specialty iced coffee that I guzzled! Everything is made to order, so allow a little extra time.

I took my son here today to kick of spring break. We had a great experience! The donuts are delicious and just the right size. I say this because so many donuts are unnecessarily big and hard to finish. These were just enough to satisfy our donut craving. They're freshly made every day which you can taste in every bite. Rose's Little Donuts are in fact, little donuts. I didnt realize they would actually be little when i ordered (my fault lol.) that being said they are delicious and it's kind of fun having bite sized donuts. I definitely enjoyed and would go to Rose's again!!! read more

My husband is a big donut fan, and he wanted to try the donuts from Rose's. I took a bite of his pumpkin donut and strawberry donut. They were too sweet for me. But, if I were a kid, I would love them. I tried a black coffee, and I did not like it. Rose's buys their coffee from Philly. West Chester has a great coffee vendor in Lamont/Turk's Head coffee that a lot of the West Chester restaurants use for their coffee. I prefer Lamont much better. The donut store has a really neat interior, and the person behind the counter was very friendly. I rated them a 4/5, because I don't like 80% of any donuts that I try from any donut vendor. Also, I don't enjoy coffee from Starbucks and from Dunkin' Donuts. So, I am kind of a harsh judge about my coffee and donuts. If I have a future grandchild, I would bring him or her to Roses, because they have great looking sweet donuts! read more

What a cute little donut shop! This is on a side street and I missed it a few times walking by but finally stopped in one morning and checked it out. The donuts are a little smaller than normal sized donuts, but in my opinion they are the perfect size. I had the strawberry lavender and it was absolutely delicious. Prices are reasonable also, $2.50 a donut. Can't wait to come back and try more flavors! read more

Rose's is a great addition to the West Chester scene. Located on a side street between Market and Gay Streets, they offer nine flavors of smaller sized donuts along with ReAnimator Coffee and a few other drink selections. You can also get bags of the coffee to go and boxes of mini gluten free donuts made elsewhere there too. Rose's. donuts are sold individually but you can get them in boxes that hold four, nine, of 16. Given fondness for donuts and the fact that they seemed small I chose to get a box of nine, which was a mistake because after eating four I was ready for a nap. You choose what flavors you want, pay at the counter (they do take credit cards) and they call your name when your order is up. It's a relatively small place with a large bench with some pillows in front of the store where you can sit down and they have a long tall counter on the side of the store with a colorful mural that goes along great with the decor that includes a sparkling countertop and subway tiles. You can also see the machine that cranks out the donuts and watch employees, all of whom were really friendly, put the toppings in the donuts from the counter. Speaking of the donuts, they are all based on smaller sized cake donuts with some flavors, like the pumpkin pie, featuring pumpkin flavor in the mix. I chose those as well as vanilla sundae, strawberry sprinkle, and peanut butter lovers ones. They also had lemon merengue, sea salt caramel, s'mores, black chocolate forest cherry, and maple bacon ones too and I am sure that the flavors will change with the seasons. While I enjoyed the donuts, they seemed a little overly sweet to me, both with regard to the icing and the toppings, especially the peanut butter ones with the lots of peanut butter cup pieces in the middle, as I felt like I ate a candy bar after eating the donut which isn't necessarily a bad thing. The closest thing I can compare them to is a smaller, sweeter version of FedNuts without the cinnamon spice baked in the dough. Kids will love these though. So if you're looking for a quick pick-me-up or want to get the kids running in circles, Rose's is the place to go. read more
