There's wildlife to see such as squirrels and birds, and you can even see some turtles in the little stream. A lot of people like to go walking early in the morning because it's a lot cooler and I would agree with that. There's ample parking in multiple lots. There's also two dog parks one for small dogs and one for larger dogs. Everyone usually abides by all the dog rules, except I do notice dog poop along the walking trail sometimes and people are leaving it and not picking it up. Walking through the trees is really nice. There's a couple benches along the way so if you get tired, wanna sit down, you can do so. On the other side of the park near the swimming pool there are basketball courts and tennis courts. They have children's play areas as well.

They have walking trails, picnic areas, grills, pavilions as well as tennis and basketball courts. On the far east and north side is the pool and ball fields. It's still pretty dormant as it is February but there were plenty of people out enjoying to unseasonable weather.

Rose Field/Jim Darnell Stadium is home to the Midwest City Bomber football team. It's closed up…read moreright now as school is about over. Jim Darnell was the coach here for 23 years hence the name addition. It is a very nicely set up stadium. The capacity is just short of 6000 and on game nights depending on the opponent it gets pretty full. There are plenty of refreshment options. Parking looks a little tight and it's set back in a neighborhood so beware when driving in this area.

It is maintained pretty well and the playscape equipment is in good shape. There are restrooms available but I did not go inside to check them out. The park has several playable areas and swings. They have eco friendly materials around the playscape and swings. I drive by all the time and it gets a lot of use. A little cool and windy so nobody was out being active.

I cannot put into mere words how great the food is here. It feels like it's been forever since I've sunk my teeth into their mouthwatering hot dogs. I've tried making my own, I've tried Sam's, I've tried Costco, and I've even tried other ballparks. But nothing, and I mean NOTHING, will ever compare to the hot dogs they have here...
