Slow and painful.... You can feel the thread sliding slowly...and painfully...across your eyebrows.. So painful that it cleared up my nose that I didn't even know was stuffy. Only to go home and notice that you have little kinks in the shape of your eyebrow and have these missed prickly things now. Take an extra buck or two with you and drive further down the street to get your eyebrows done. read more

I went in for the first time in 8 months (due to Covid) and they were so appreciative. It was very clean and chairs were distanced. They clearly are putting safety first during this pandemic. It was my first time at this location. I chose this particular location because it is near to my home. I usually visit a place by my work but because of COVID-19 I'm working from home. Everyone was polite and I actually do like the end result of my brows but Sadly not interested in returning. The lady who worked on me had very very bad body odor. I know some people don't wear deodorant but it was very very strong. I smelled it when she spoke to me but I wasn't sure and I didn't want to embarrass her. I should of left but too late I was in the chair before I knew it. I held my breath and took a breath when I felt it was safe to. I'm sorry I really wanted to like this place. I had written a bad review because this one girl left me bleeding and peeled my skin off because she did my eyebrows but, honestly I'm not a bad person. All I can say is God Bless them to start being more considerate of their customers and more attentive to their job and remember that all people deserve good! I've been going here for three years but recently stopped because I got sick and tired of the terrible customer service. The ladies working there always gave me attitude for no reason, would call people before me even though I signed in before them, and were generally just very rude towards me. There were many times I would tip them and they wouldn't say thank you and seemed as if they didn't even want it. I only kept coming back because I didn't know any other place to my eyebrows done at, but I was done after my last experience there. They're alright at doing eyebrows but the customer service is trash. I wouldn't recommend visiting this place, I would suggest you go somewhere where the people working know how to treat their customers. I wish I would've stopped coming sooner. read more

My friend And I decided to try a new eyebrow place and let me tell you never again. My eyebrows were thick when we went in and now they are super thin. I haven't had them this thin since high school. Thicker string than the others. Fast service and actually gives you some detail about how and what to do with you eyebrows. Offers aloe vera at the end but must massage yourself. There is also a stamp card, cannot combine with others so don't forget your stamp card! $5 eye brows $4 lips offers much more but thats all I go for. read more

I shall start out with the good because I really wanted to give this new place a chance, despite reading one horrific review prior to coming. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, I walked in to be greeted by a flick of the hand. She was having a deep conversation on the phone, and didn't point for me to go anywhere nor try to end her conversation for a customer. So I just pretend to browse the price list and the new facility. It's very clean I might add.. $4.99 for eyebrow threading, this is definitely a steal of a price. The owner does very great shaping and makes sure every hair is pulled out..... however... While she tried to get every hair out, she got reeeeeeally close to my skin and it just burns when the thread slides across. I've never had an experience that it hurt so bad and I'd hate to tell her during the process that it hurts because I'm always worried the artist will get offended. So I started scrunching my forehead and flinching each time it hurt. I thought I would be able to tough it all the way through, but when she applied aloe to massage me afterwards, the stinging stared kicking in and I just had to say something. Lo and behold, she took great offense when I spoke up and asked why I didn't inform her that it was hurting. Usually, when someone flinches that hard, it's a sign that you are hurting them... Being as she was furious now, she started speaking in her native tongue and had to have the younger lady translate for her. They blamed it on my sensitive skin when she was only trying to take out an ingrown hair. INGROWN! That means it's underneath my skin! Leave it alone! So when I tell her I've done threading elsewhere plenty of times, she goes on to accuse me of trying to bring her business down because she saw me take pics. I honestly was trying to just put a cover photo up for them in hopes to draw some clientele in.... But at this rate, I'm very sorry but please spend the $2 extra and go to a better place. I've been taking my dog to the groomers in the same plaza and never noticed this place sice I rarely have to wait for my dog after going to the gym. So this most recent visit, I saw Rose Threading and opened up my Yelp app to see what their reviews were like. I've been wanting to try threading for a while and been growing out my overplucked eyebrows. After a horrible experience with wax I had to give threading a shot. So I walked in and was greeted by Tia. I didn't want a drastic change so I went with a clean up. It was pain-free and my brows looked great after. I'm definitely coming back for my next touch up. Faithful client here! Once "threading" became popular a few years ago I tried many locations in the SGV. I stumbled upon Rose Threading one day and have been a loyal customer ever since. Tia was the first to ever thread me and she is BOMB. Very light hand (no pain) and VERY good at shaping and fixing bad brows! She is extremely popular and most days the clients are waiting for her. I tried Manisha and she is VERY good also. She hasn't been here in some time so I don't know what's going on with that. *POST COVID* I waited so long for them to open and came in with a serious job for them! My eyebrows were BAD. The business does a great job of keeping clients safe. They are constantly cleaning, practicing had hygiene and distancing clients. Staff wear masks and shields. They have also adopted a new way of manipulating the thread in that they don't use their mouth any longer. They use something around their neck! Love this place!!!! read more

This place is great. It was my first time coming here. I didn't have to wait long until it was my turn. The girl who did my brows and lips was amazing! When I saw the sign outside that said "Threading $4.99" I thought maybe give it a shot!! I was very happy with the results!! Everyone that works here is very friendly and it was a very peaceful and pleasant environment. I'm honestly not sure why the other reviews of Rose Threading are not good? I have been growing my eyebrow out and asked the employee Tia to keep my brows full and she did. I asked her to thread my lip as well and for once it did not hurt!!! I believe that was a Threading Miracle!!! I will be returning to Rose Threading in the future because they are great. I left there very happy with the result and had no need for "tweezers when i got home". I suggest you go for yourself and check it out...I have no complaints!! read more

The price for a henna that I purchased was about $25! I didn't think it was worth $25 since it was small and that there were hardly any designs around it. She charged my friends hand for $20 and my friend has more designs than I did. They ladies were friendly though. read more
