The parking lot has ample spaces but the spots are taken up as everyone and their mom seem to frequent this plaza. There's a lot of traffic congestion from pedestrians AND cars, that lot could use someone to stand and direct folks. Plus, it's just a gross lot, raggedy looking. So is the building Party City is in. Looks run down, in my opinion. I finally was able to find a spot but had to park crookedly. I went into Party City and man...there were SO MANY PEOPLE IN THERE, they were basically hanging off the rafters! Most folks were in a checkout line, but I'd pre-ordered and prepaid for my stuff. I followed a sign that said Pickup farther down the checkout counter, but there was a line over there too. I asked the folks in it if they were picking up items, but they told me they were there for balloons. And indeed, there were 3 girls in the "pickup" area blowing up balloons. I wasn't trying to deal with the pandemonium of the regular checkout line, it was much longer than the "balloon/pickup" line, so I stayed where I was. When I was 2-3 customers back from the front of this line, one of the girls blowing up balloons asked the line if everyone was waiting for balloons. Everyone said yes, but me, and she asked me my last name, which I gave her, but she didn't scurry off to get my order. 5-10 mins later I was at the front of the line. Another girl who had been blowing up balloons asked if she could help me so I had to repeat I was picking up an order, gave her my name, then had to tell her what was in the order, wth? She actually did scurry off and eventually came back with a bag for me. She handed it over, didn't ask for ID, nor did she seem to scan the bag for inventory purposes. [shrugs] I was just happy to be able to leave that place, it was a mad house! I got home and tried on the witch shoe covers I'd bought and they didn't fit over my shoe. They were supposed to be one size fits all, but clearly they weren't. I intended to take them back, but checked the Party City return policy. Unfortunately because I picked them up after 10/24, I can't get a full refund on Halloween stuff, only a store credit. I get why this policy is in place, but in my case, I'm not trying to wear a costume and bring it back after the holiday. The shoe covers didn't function as advertised! I'm pretty over Party City at this point and will do a better job next year of securing a Halloween outfit well in advance so I don't have to rely on Party City last minute.

She received a call on 1/13/122 from someone apologizing that my friend has to cancel her event due to being on bed rest and explained that she would have, I believe 6 months to rent the chair at no cost, so basically a credit. Except.. my fe friend did not cancel her even because she's not on bedrest, which she explained. The apologized for the mixed up and confirmed the event and delivery for the event in Colombia Maryland. The delivery of my friend's rented chair was supposed to be between 2&3 because the event started at 5pm. 3 o'clock passed, no chair; 4pm, not chair. We finally call after 4 to get an estimated time of arrival, no answer. We checked and saw that the times listed on google have a closure of 2pm. We continued to call anyway and a woman picked up. We explained the situation and gave them my friend's last name. They told us there was no rental under that name. Praise God that I asked my friend to send me every receipt and communication with vendors, because I was Able to find the confirmation number for the rental. We give it to the woman and she tells us that the notes say that the rental is canceled because the person is on bedrest. I explained that they called yesterday and it was already explained that she is not on bedrest, very much well, very much working and very much expected to show up soon for her shower, so the issue needs to be fixed. Her response was that there was nothing that could be done because the warehouse was closed and the workers were at another event. I exchanged some words that included asking if my friend, who is 33 weeks pregnant is now expected to stand in the front of her event because of their mix up and demand that they find someone to open the warehouse so that we can come and get the chair. After bantering back and forth, which I should not have even had to do, the woman tells us someone will be there soon. Another friend reaches to the warehouse and is met by a girl standing at the door unbraiding her hair and being dismissive. We finally get the chair.. so we will be reaching out to talk about delivery fee. Since we took the chair and they now know the event is on. You think they would come and get the chair? NOPE. We had to call again ... we waited about an hour and a half for someone to show up. Person shows up complaining about how the company has him picking up the chair and he's not even supposed to be working. Tells us to express any issues we have with the front desk. #1 we didn't even express any issues TO HIM #2 it sounds like HE needed to express his issues with the front desk. I would never EVER use this place. If it was the last place standing in Maryland, I would rent from another state.
