I've been in nicer laundromats -- there's a super nice on in Aurora --- and I've been in many worse ones (pretty much everywhere else). This one is okay. It seems well maintained and the machines are fairly clean. I like that there are giant washing machines, so if you have a ton of laundry to get through, you can pile it into one huge washer and save some time. There are some pretty big dryers as well. The place is brightly lit and while not spotless, it's mostly clean. My daughter and I were there during the evening, but she told me that she'd been there during the day and that the owner is normally on-site, overseeing everything. If you have to go to a laundromat, choose this one.

When I asked him to show me an example of such a dress in the store, he could not show me a single one and as it turned out, he had charged everybody four dollars more than the advertised price. Finally, when I decided to have the pants dry cleaned only, he produced a new bill, but added a 50 cents surcharge for the same pants that he had given me a bill for 5 minutes ago! The owner, hearing the word funeral, quoted $45 plus tax per pair of pants saying that it was a rush service for Sunday to be ready by Thursday at 4 PM and even at that they might not be ready on time. He said if I was willing to pay cash then he could do it for $35 per pair. I don't know anyone who would pay that much for some low end dry cleaner to hem a pair of pants. He barely knew how to measure. He told me they had nowhere to do the fitting so my boys had to go to the Fortino's washroom to try on the pants so he could get the length correct. With that price quote, and no guarantee of having them on time I took the pants and left. I was able to find a very nice local lady who had her own business of alterations who charged me $15 per pair, which is completely reasonable. The next day I called back just to see what I would be quoted if I were just calling in. The same person answered the phone and he quoted me $25 per pair. He said, depending on when I needed them. If it would be a rush, it would be a different price so I asked him what that would be, and realizing who he was speaking to, he then hung up the phone on me. Do not go to this place for your services. They will completely take advantage of you and rip you off. if I could rate it at zero stars, I would.

I brought my garments to be dry cleaned at Stitch it on a Saturday and was told they would be ready…read morefor pick up the following Friday. They took my name number and I pre-paid for the items. Got my receipt and left. I went to pick up my garments on Monday of the following week but I didn't have my receipt. i told the lady at the counter I didn't have the receipt and to check the computer by my name and number. in the process they couldn't find my order and she refused to check the store for my garments. The only thing she wanted was the receipt. She had no customer service skills and treated me as if I was trying to scam the store. I was very frustrated and got into an argument with this very rude employee who pointed her finger in my face and offered no solutions to my problem Upon leaving the store they followed me to my car took pictures etc. I called their head office and emailed them and they haven't responded to this day. Please don't do business with Stitch It they have no customer service skills and a very rude. long story short I went back to the store a week later to get my dry clothes and discovered they entered my name on their computer incorrectly and hence the issue with locating my name and order. The entire problem was caused by their employee mis spelling my name. This business is a complete joke stay away.

What a fantastic experience! We took many items to Zara in November 2021. Lots of mens collared…read moreshirts....long sleeve and short sleeve. Zara was able to taper this in and they turned out great. Zara also took in and shortened a few different mens dress pants. Not just at the waist but all the way through. We went to her home and she had a private area for getting dressed and undressed. Zara is so lovely. Lots of experience. Reasonably priced. And all of our items were ready when she said they would be. We won't go anywhere else now for alterations. Thank you Zara!!!
