No space for companions but companions have to stay on premises. No progress board or updates to know what's going on or where a loved one is in the process. They didn't even let me back with my husband for his prep like he came back with me when it was my turn. The people were nice enough but the lack of consideration for a patient's time and comfort is just appalling. I would recommend going with Wellstar or another provider.

Tuesday, I received a follow-up call from Ted at the endoscopy center. He asked how I was doing. I told him not well at all, that I was seriously ill. He says, "I'll make a note of it. If your symptoms persist, call the doctor." That must be his idea of a joke, I guess. So I wrote the mentioned-in-earlier-review Pam to ask if I should be concerned, was this in any way related to the endoscopy, what should I do, etc. I received a call from someone named Maggie who explained that Pam was absent, but she (Maggie) would get a note to the doctor and I'd hear back. Yay. Heard nothing back. Wednesday, I'm still having the horrible issue. I called Pam's number and left a message. Someone named Natalie calls me back, says she'll send a note rated high priority to Dr. Longacre, and I'll hear back from the doctor by the end of the day. Yay. Heard nothing back. Thursday, into my third day of sickness, wrote Pam's email addy (copied Dr. Longacre) and told whoever read it that I was fed up with their non-responsiveness, and I'd be finding another gastro doctor. Yay. It's 1:00 p.m. and no one has bothered to even respond. I called weeks after I finished my medication, stating that I was still in pain and needed help, the receptionist sent the doctor the wrong message. She calls me back hours later to tell me what he said. I told her that she sent the wrong message, she goes "Oh! Let me call him back. Then I'll call you back!" That was DAYS ago!!! I still haven't heard anything from him or his office staff. But I see that I have a prescription sitting at my pharmacy for something that's not even wrong with me. These people are CLOWNS!!! At this point I'm self diagnosing and taking care of myself! He needs to be the one reaching out to his patients, or AT LEAST the clinical staff.
