I met a friend for coffee an bites and we were both blown away over the quality and originality in every bite. We ordered 2 cheese pies which resemble a pizza with the cheese sitting on a focaccia base. I don't like pizza but I LOVED THIS. We ordered 2 cappuccinos and we sipped them line shots; also amazing coffee. We ended up with dessert, we ordered a donut and cannolis. They were super delicious. Service was great and the place was very clean and sustainable looking. The prices were reasonable. They are high but you pay for what you get. I didn't expect to find such a good Italian style bakery at the mall, but the dessert looked good , as good as the of the NY places I been too like Angelina Bakery. I was going to pass because I already got food and dessert from 3 other places at the food court, but then I heard a voice, it was a bombolone, that's a Italian like doughnut for you guys that only go to DD. So I got the nutella one and I split it open hopping to get a million dollar shot of it oozing out. The nutella was about to fall out and hit the floor so I tried to scoop it up with my tongue and instead I got a face full of nutella. Now a little kid with a face full of nutella looks funny and maybe even cute, but and old guy looks far from cute and more likely looks ready for ready for the dementia ward. Good thing for me Rosettsa has napkin dispensers on lots of the tables. The croissants are really good, whether plain or filled, and everything else look so good....I will need to eat nothing for days to compensate for the calories earned from eating all the yummy pastries! if your hours say open until 10:00pm, and the cashier sells you a tea at 9:40pm, and opens the bag for you; how is it OK for the barista to put a nasty face wave "no" because the machine is "off" and you are turned away. disrespectful to say the least "specially during holiday season", as someone who works im hospitality wrong message of " it doesn't matter it's the mall". Located right next to the ice skating rink, it's a nice spot to relax from a day's shopping and enjoy a yummy snack. Rosetta provides both savory and sweet options. Pizzas, sandwiches, and pastries all with an Italian twist. We enjoyed four of their bite-sized pastries (mini versions of the bigger desserts): a Nutella-themed one, a mixed berry, a lemon cream, and a cream puff. All were tasty in their own way; our favorite was definitely the Nutella one. I'm excited to come back and try their pizza next time; it looked yum! This is new cool place, but as for the service... They forgot my order and waited for more than 30 minutes. When I asked, the 3 of them talked to each other, looked for the receipt, and gave me my order. When I gave it to them, they immediately put it down and just moved on. Went to this place 6 minutes before closing (yes late) but when I asked for just one croissant three ladies were standing there all just say "we are closed" very rudely. It was a bit confusing to order and to view their display. There was a roped line that was formed along the display so I had to peek between people to see what they offered. When I did order, I had to snake around to the cashier and saw another display where I asked to purchase additional items. If I had seen everything or ordered when I reached the end of the display, I would have ordered all my items together. The counter person who helped me was nice enough but the cashier, who might have been the manager, seemed a bit rude. No smile or greeting and she told the woman who helped me to switch to a smaller box even though it was already packaged. Seriously?! After I paid $50, she was going to get cheap with a box. The items in the display looked nice but there were no prices. I had sticker shock. To add insult to injury, most of the items were not worth the high prices. I ordered a prosciutto baguette sandwich, yellow cream bombolone, vanilla eclair, chocolate eclair, and a cream puff thing. The eclairs were tiny and just mediocre tasting. not enough to command its $9.50 (each!) price tag. The sandwich was terrible and drenched in olive oil. The only thing good was the bombolone.
