Update: The morning after I posted my review, the business reached out to remedy the situation. I appreciate the quick response. I will be happy to use Rosey Posey the next time I send flowers to my Mom. Next time I may call directly to see what flowers or arrangement are best at the time. I ordered a birthday arrangement for my mother. I looked at reviews for several local florists before selecting Rosey Posey. I spent about an hour selecting an arrangement I thought she would enjoy. The picture showed roses, alstroemeria and mums in fall colors with some leafy greenery. I called to confirm the day before. She received an arrangement of mums, the cheapest flower possible. I have been using Rosey Posey for at least 35 years and have always been very satisfied with their arrangements. In June, I found myself needing a funeral arrangement at the 11th hour, and of course, my first call was to Rosey Posey. When I learned they had a new owner, my heart sunk because I didn't know them, and didn't have time to do any research. Very quickly I realized the person who answered the phone, Connie was the same person I had talked to on numerous occasions (under the previous owners), and she assured me they would be able to fill my order AND get it there in just a few hours. They've always been helpful when I've gone in to arrange for plants (mostly for local or nearby funerals / memorial services). Staff takes the time to get messages down accurately, even when 'from the office' messages involve over a dozen names. I've never been disappointed with what was delivered. They also seem to interact well with local funeral homes and are able to respond in a timely way, even when service plans change without announcement. I wish that they carried a more extensive line of plants (not just lilies), especially those that can be made appropriate for a funeral, whether because of a nice basket or other trim, etc....maybe it's just that I'm not from the south, but living plants, rather than cut flowers at a funeral always seem less morbid. I hate the idea of a family member having to deal with dead flowers after someone they cared for passed away... Anyway - Rosey Posey does a good job, for a market-reasonable price. The store staff seems to focus on fulfilling placed orders, like a more traditional florist shop, rather than combining a florist shop with gifts or other distractions. read more

The Rosey Posey's new owner and floral designers listen and can custom design the vision you have in your mind and make it into reality! This year we needed a new Christmas wreath for our front door. We didnt' really know "what" we wanted, but after talking with Gregg about things we like and don't like, the call came to pick up the wreath. What a wonderful surprise! They were very helpful over the phone and described something that was not what was received. Very disappointed in the final product. We were also promised a pictured of the product, but didn't receive one. A family member from the funeral service sent us the pic and that explained why they didn't send a picture. IT WAS AWFUL!!! Felt like I was ripped off and felt bad for sending such an awful product to such a deserving woman. Brought my family to tears thinking that's what was sent to her funeral service. The folks we spoke to on the phone were very helpful and polite and we ordered 3 arrangements.
