Great British owned spot with everything you need to survive including marmite, vegemite, wheetabix, lollies, ribena, irnbru, frozen pasties and pies. Literally a hidden British treasure trove of sweet and teas. So many teas. Of course I'll be back.

Unique and delicious selection of loose leaf and bagged teas. All of her teas are strong flavorful and robust! There's teas to wake you relax you and cure colds. She also carries a wide assortment of British tea complimentary items such as biscuits. There's also souvenirs and tea cups and unique British food items. I always get my teas here!

In LOVE with this place. It's been on my list forever. I don't know what took me so long to come visit. Tiny little spot on main st with the coolest owner ready to give you advice on all things tea or tips if you have a trip to the UK planned. Easy to spot as you walk the side walk, you can't miss the Union Flag hanging outside the premises. The large window lets you spot all the goodness that awaits you inside, too. I was looking for a couple different teas to take for my tea party and Susan helped me pick a couple that were a success. I also took home some sausage rolls from the fridge to bake at home as Susan recommended. Delish! Plenty of teas, cups, cookies, cordials, and lots of other goodies. I came back a second time and bought some Christmas crackers for Christmas dinner and a couple of tree ornaments with the "Queen's Jubilee" stamped on them.

The cutest little British shop along Main Street of downtown Ventura. Like a lot of places, I just happened to stumble upon it. Spent the day driving around and ended up in Ventura. But have never actually walked around the area. They had parts of Main Street blocked off for through traffic. Which now offers street dining for restaurant and vendor as indoor dining is still not permitted due to covid. So walking along, I noticed the shop. Gave it a go and popped in. The cutest little gift store with trinkets and all things British. Of course, had to look for my shortbread. They only had mini packages though. The sweets selections was great too. It's something about the sweets from the UK that's so good. Harder to get here in the states. Some of my favorite wasn't available but still picked up some things that reminded me of Scotland. The sweet lady that rang us up, believe it was the owners was so lovely. We chatted with her for a bit. And she mentioned that the street closure should be closed for a couple more months. Which is good for the shops to open along the street as some shops may not have space for outdoor dining. Overall, cute shop. Plenty of sweet and other things that is harder to find in your local shops. A little British treat never hurts.

They have the best selection of teas and British cookies, candie, gum, sodas.. all kinds of fun things for a tea drinker. Unusual cheese that you normally don't see in the states this is a great place to go for unique gifts and for pampering yourself.!

I visited on President's Day and it was a tad busy inside the store; but that's to be expected as it was busy everywhere! To be honest, the reason I stopped in here is because I saw the F*R*I*E*N*D*S gear repping Ventura. I will always be a tourist in my town. :) And, could I *be anymore serious? :) Staff was friendly; not too pushy. I loved that the store had a very "open" feeling inside, too. I get frustrated sometimes in stores Downtown that are cramped inside because I am always afraid I am going to knock something over. The souvenirs are really nice and well-made, too. Definitely does *not have the Vegas gift-shop vibe, if that makes sense. These items aren't mass produced...and you can tell. You can tell they mean something, too. I ended up getting a few stickers and a birthday present. I would definitely recommend stopping in here next time you're Downtown.

The village offers a great variety of restaurants, dessert shops, boutique clothing stores, hat shops, and souvenir stores, so there's something for everyone. If you're looking for a little adventure, you can also rent boats, kayaks, or paddle boards to explore the harbor. I even spotted a scuba diving shop, making it a great place for water sports enthusiasts. If you're not into activities, simply strolling along the harbor is just as enjoyable. The ocean breeze, colorful boats, and peaceful atmosphere make it a wonderful place to unwind and take in the beautiful views. Parking is convenient with several large lots throughout the village. Monday through Thursday (excluding major holidays), parking is free. On Fridays, weekends, and major holidays from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, parking is $1 per hour. The first hour is free if you register your license plate, parking is charged for up to four hours, and the daily maximum is $10. That makes it easy and affordable to spend the day exploring. Whether you're coming for a meal, dessert, shopping, or just a relaxing walk by the water, Ventura Harbor Village is definitely worth a visit.

REVIEW: This is a very cute shop/boutique at the Ventura Harbor. Just an FYI, it's pretty small inside so be careful if you have a bag or sandy feet. This was my first time and the lady behind the counter was very kind and helpful. One thing that stood out to me is the many varieties of earrings they sell. Quite a bit and they are nice earrings, too. Made with care and style. The employee informed me that one of the businesses they purchase/sell the earrings of even has a loyalty program. Unfortunately, I didn't purchase earrings from said company on this visit but I did buy a few others that are very tasteful. I would summarize that this shop sells the "higher end" souvenirs, if that makes sense. Would recommend a visit here. It's full of treasures indeed that will bring a smile to your face when you think of the Ventura Beach. Thank you!

We all wanted to unite and help out the local businesses who were trying to make up for lost profits and wages after the natural disasters. Sadly enough, this year's Night Market was dishearteningly and abruptly cancelled in October by Paseo Nuevo leaving many artisans displaced, with hopes to find somewhere quick to sell their amazing art and goods this Holiday Season. Thanks to Santa Barbara Trading Post's Vashti Wilson who pulled strings and all her resources to throw 2019's Twilight Holiday Market. She is an Air Force mother who had experienced European markets and wanted to bring this to Santa Barbara. If you ask me, this year's market is BETTER THAN EVER! It temporarily transported me home to Chicago's Christkindlmarket--without the frigid temperatures and mandatory cider in German boot mugs! The Twilight Market is outdoors right on De La Guerra Plaza within a heated tent with Christmas lights decorating the surrounding plants and palm trees. Step inside to explore 40+ local vendors and artisans selling their creative creations. A few of my favorites were: Island View Outfitters (screen printing shirts and stickers), AZ Designz (leather goods), Horse & Carriage Co (custom string art), Hot Cherry (therapeutic cherry pit wraps and pillows), RoHo Goods (ethical Kenyan products), & Pura Luna Women's Apothecary (plant remedies and goods). Everyone was super friendly and enthusiastic, plus many more to see that I failed to mention. If you're hungry, enjoy some smoky barbecue from Kaptain's BBQ Shack... Side note: There's the option to order in advance by texting your order to 805-617-0825 including your first/last name and phone number. There is also fingerlicking popcorn from Hippy Pop Popcorn, caffeinated hot beverages from the Nitro Shack, and rotating beer and wine offerings that changes daily to support multiple breweries/wineries. Genius! During the evenings, they have bands perform to add to the ambiance and outdoor patio seating. Markets like this is what I truly love about our tiny beach town of Santa Barbara--everyone pulls together to help and support one another to make exciting things happen. I would love to see the city create a permanent shared space for all these artisans to have pop-up shop off State Street since there is so much talent. For now, feel free to ask for a business card or find them on Etsy and/or Instagram. The market is running daily for two weeks straight from December 6th-23rd Mondays-Saturdays 4 pm - 10 pm and Sundays 12 pm - 6 pm. Go support your local artisans and small businesses to make a difference this Holiday Season!
