So we had our wedding at Villa De Amore in Temecula in March 2023 and Ross was our DJ. Since the venue pretty much comes with the DJ, and we did not get to vet multiple DJ's, I will admit that I was skeptical because I never met Ross in person prior to our wedding. With that said - the many months leading up to our wedding, Ross was ALWAYS available to talk on the phone, text, and even set up a Zoom video call with me to go over my vision for the wedding and talk about different music. So my thoughts on DJ Ross? Best. DJ. EVER. Do not think twice. Although I was skeptical at first, Ross exceeded all of our expectations. I was a type A bride for sure. I wanted specific songs played at specific times, I wanted the doors during the ceremony to open at a certain SECOND of a song, I wanted it ALL - and Ross made it happen. There was literally not one thing that went wrong with the music or the MC-ing. Ross played the best dance music, kept the dance floor alive the entire night, and made the entire wedding flow perfectly. The dance floor was NEVER empty. He dimmed the lights, had light effects - it honestly felt like a nightclub. So awesome. There was never an awkward pause in the music, the crowd loved him, and he really made my wedding a night no one will ever forget. From the older crowd to the young people - everyone loved him. I am still getting feedback on him from friends and family weeks after my wedding. For my type A brides out there - I had made a timeline and this man followed it to a T. I don't know if there is a more experienced DJ in SoCal. I think what sets him apart is the experience he has - he is an expert. He knows how to run and MC a wedding from start to finish, his music selection is on point, he can make any vision come to life, he is reliable, available, and just overall a pleasure to work with. We got married in April 2022 at a venue that required us to use Ross Creations. Communicating with Ross in the months leading up to the event was seamless, and the website that he used to have us upload requests info was very easy. I was a little nervouse when I found out Ross would not actually be DJ-ing our wedding, but we ended up working with Henry, and he was fantastic! We didn't speak until the week of the wedding due to the switch, but he put together a quick mashup of two songs for my Dad and I (we wanted to start with the slow, sentimental father-dauthgter dance and then transition into something fun) three days before the wedding, and accommodated me when I changed our first dance song two days before! Overall, super easy to work with and the dance floor was so much fun! We had a smaller wedding, but our DJ kept people on the dance floor, and even our guests who weren't dancers talked about how much fun they had and how great our DJ was. I hired them because I knew the owners through an ancillary relationship. They did not disappoint. From planning g to execution it went flawlessly. Our DJ Johnny read the room well and the dance floor was packed all night. This was a business dinner dance and usually the room empties soon after all the prizes are gone. Ross DJ'd and MC'd our wedding in Temecula last weekend, and he was EXCELLENT. Our wedding was delayed multiple times due to Covid, so it was a years-long process by the time it finally happened, and Ross was always a helpful and positive voice throughout. He was possibly our favorite vendor to work with, because he was always quick to respond to emails or phone calls, plus he could roll with any changes that came about (and there were many). During the planning stage, Ross was very clear about describing what he needed from us, as well as what he would be providing. As I said above, he's really more of a Master of Ceremonies and Technical Director in addition to a DJ, and he excelled at all of it, so we really appreciated his support in those areas. For the "grand entrance" part of the reception, my wife and I asked if he could announce our bridal party as if they were a starting lineup for a basketball team. We wrote funny little bios for each of them, and Ross got really into it, announcing them each with gusto. The whole thing felt like a little show, and was a highlight for a lot of our guests. We also decided to purchase some of his extra party services (the cold sparks, I believe they're called), and those were another fun addition to our reception. All in all, I can't imagine an event that Ross wouldn't be a great addition to. If we have need of a DJ in the future, we'd hire him again in a heartbeat, and would encourage anyone else to do so as well. read more

How is it that Ross has no reviews??? Ross was the preferred DJ for our wedding venue (Villa de Amore). We were nervous at first because he was THE ONLY DJ option listed. My forever boyfriend ("husband" is weird) was super picky about what music was to be played during the wedding. Let's just say he was on the brink of groomzilla when it came to the music. So he provided all of the Hip Hop/R&B music to Ross to be safe. Our initial meeting went perfectly smooth! Don't judge a book by it's cover because this guy knows what he's doing! On the day of, Ross was MORE THAN A DJ...he was running around helping out where he could. He worked with the coordinator and the staff at the venue to stick to timelines, counted guests as they arrived to time the start of the ceremony perfectly, interacted positively with all of the guests...he was everybody and everywhere. He played a Frozen song out of no where while we were outside taking pictures, that made me and the forever bf look at each other like "WTH is that?", but it literally had everyone inside singing at the top of their lungs! It was so funny and I'm sure it was to satisfy the kids and the kids at heart. ROSS IS AMAZING!!! Where to even begin....Ross and Monica went above and beyond to make our wedding day perfect! We rescheduled our wedding 3 times due to Covid..Ross was there every step of the way! He stayed in contact with me through everything I had 2 deaths during the postponement of our wedding and he went out of his way to help me create a memorial table and music to add to it! Through this process we formed a friendship and he made sure that our wedding day would be one to remember! Ross did an amazing job at our wedding in Temecula! He is very professional, quick to respond, and extremely helpful when we had any questions or concerns! My dad put together a slide show that he wanted to have going during dinner, and Ross was able to work with my dad to make sure everything turned out perfect. Also, our dance floor was constantly full of people dancing up until the last song of the night. He was able to read the crowd and play songs based on what people were dancing too, some of our guests even asked what playlist he used! Ross! What can I say about Ross? Fun! Such a fun and great guy! He reached out when he needed to and we had a great phone conversation. He spliced a song together for me, not once but twice. He accommodated a video montage for my step son and remembered to play all the songs we asked for. My entire reception there was never an empty dance floor. So much fun!! He's also super funny! "Fred said he couldn't wait to dance with his wife because he's such a great dancer"! Funny. The best part though, was how intuitive he was. My friends were dragging me to the dance floor, but the song was "Jesse's girl" from the 80's. Half way to the floor, I'm like "No! Jesse's my ex!" My wife and I used Ross for his DJ services and Monica for the photo booth at our wedding at Green River Golf Course. They are such a great team that work together to make sure your event is a memorable one. It was easy to tell that Ross has had multiple years of experience when the day of the wedding, I began running around making sure everything was perfect for my wife, and Ross was the one to tell me everything is going to work out just fine. He was very professional in checking in with us ever so often to make sure we were ready to move on to the next item on the agenda and double checking the music for first dances/grand entrance. I can't say it enough about how he is able to read the room and know what people like and what songs to stay away from. He was even able to play...dare I say it..."Baby Shark" when we requested the song during our reception so our niece could dance to the song. We didn't speak much with Monica (as Ross was our main point of contact) except for designing our photo template, but from the photo album we received the same night as our wedding, it seems like all of our guests had such a fun time using the great props! The up-lighting looked amazing the day of and he did a great job with all the music and slideshow. All of our guests had a great time as well! Ross creations was the DJ that our venue provided, Villa de Amore, Ross himself wasn't the DJ of our actual day but he was the one we spoke to first and went over everything that we wanted or didn't want, I was very clear that I did not want any Taylor Swift or and group dance songs (chicken dance, YMCA ect.) played with him, I even provided a list of songs we love from every genre as well as some requests the guests had already made, that was long enough for our entire day. We also had a special message that was previously recorded to be played as our introduction into the reception, one half to be played while our wedding party was being introduced, a recording by our favorite sports team PA announcer stating there was one minute left as he does at the end end of each period at the rink, and then him actually introducing us. We spoke to the DJ that was actually going to be handling our wedding two days before hand and went over everything once more, told him the exact same things, no Taylor Swift or group dance songs, and what the introduction was and how it needed to be played. My now husband also talked to him before we were introduced and went over the two parts of the introduction, unfortunately somehow he didn't play the first part of the recording and only got the last half, then went on to play both Taylor Swift and group dance songs. It was very disappointing as the top three things we went over didn't happen. read more
