He repeatedly interrupted me while I was speaking and questioned me about where I got his number, which felt uncomfortable and unprofessional. He also asked how old the person having the birthday party was and whether the party was for a female or male. While some event details can obviously be relevant, the way these questions were asked, combined with his overall tone, made the interaction feel very strange and uncomfortable. When I asked whether a 2-3 hour booking was an option, he told me there was a 4-hour minimum, which I completely understand. However, his response "I have a 4-hour minimum, but let's hear what you have to say"came across as condescending. He also repeatedly emphasized how booked and in demand he is and made it seem like I needed to book immediately. There is nothing wrong with being busy or having a minimum booking requirement, but there is a professional way to communicate that. Overall, the interaction gave me a very uncomfortable impression. I knew I was not going to go with him or his company within the first 30 seconds of the call. I was simply trying to get pricing and information for a birthday party, and I expected a basic level of courtesy and professionalism. Based on this experience, I would not feel comfortable booking him for any event. Business hours listed are M-S 24/7.
