Everything was neat and tidy and organized, which in that department it has potential to be a real nightmare. I found exactly what I was looking for, and when I got to check out, the sales lady told me about anninline coupon that I was not aware of, and because of that, she saved me a BUNCH of money! Burkes Outlet is another store with about the same kind of merchandise and prices as TJ Maxx,…read moreMarshalls or Ross. Just less choice than TJ Maxx but much neater and more peaceful and pleasant than Ross. This one is located in between the JC Penny and the Big Lots store on Trenton and 281. When they first opened they had more merchandise. Because of a lack of customers they have cut back; there is a lot more space between racks, and fewer items on the racks. However, if you can't find what you're looking for at TJ Maxx or Marshalls, you may get lucky and find it here. It's certainly more peaceful. I hope they get more customers and will increase the merchandise again and give more competition to the other retailers.

You never know exactly what you'll find till you get there, but there is usually something you find that makes the stop worthwhile. You may have to sort through items to find what you want, especially if you are looking for a particular brand or size. The merchandise is better organized and is more well maintained at this particular store than at some of the others, certainly a quantum leap above the Ross or Burlington! Customer service has always been pleasant and efficient, though at peak times there is a line. However, the lines move much faster here than at their competition. TJ Maxx is one of our first stops when shopping. This one has a great location in the Shoppes at Rio Grande Valley at the corner of I-69C and Trenton. The shopping center has a myriad of shoppes, restaurants, a Starbucks, Academy, Ulta, JCP, and much more, so there is something for everyone.
