Always always always a long line. You would think they could hire more cashiers. I mean usually 10 people deep and one cashier.

I'm not one to leave crappy reviews, but woof!Literally the rudest cashier I've ever met. You'd think I personally ruined his life by trying to make a return, a thing that normally is okay for unused/unworn merchandise at a retail store. Tried to return shoes purchased two days earlier and the cashier, Emilo (I don't think that was really his name, refused to show me his name tag) acted like they had been run over by a semi truck and thrown into a river. They hadn't been worn besides trying them on in the store. He said they were filthy, and I tried pointing out the dirt on the bottom was on ALL the shoes in the store... because the ground... is dirty. He refused to do the return and acted as if giving me the $14 back was going to ruin his life or something. He also said I didn't have the Ross tags. I removed them from the shoes and showed them to him, and he got defensive again and said "well, they've pretty obviously been worn." The size sticker was literally still on them, laces tight and tied, and purchased literally two days ago. So to reiterate, unworn/unused merchandise can't be returned I guess. Clearly dude needed a win, so I just bought the other items I came for, took the shoes back, and left. I feel sad for Emilio, it's a bummer he needed to bully a young woman to feel better about himself today. Someone should give that guy a hug, or maybe some therapy. Security guard was nice though! Acted like a normal human being and such. Besides the dirt being on the bottom of the shoes in the store (oh my god.... how abnormal and disgusting!) store is fine. I went ahead and added pictures of the bottom of some shoes... try to guess which ones I was attempting to return. Winner gets to give Emilio a hug and tell him he's doing a good job. read more

Upscale Garage Sale Ross feels like an upscale garage sale to me. You're indoors, and the stuff is all new, yet affordable. It's wonderful! There are perhaps a few caveats. First, it does feel like a garage sale or flea market. Stuff can be strewn about and disorganized. Second, you can't bargain your way down to a better price. You're stuck with what the tag says, if there is one. Sometimes you don't even have that luxury. read more

This Ross is smaller than others in and around Denver, with slightly less items. I usually go to the one off of Colorado and I-25, but I happened to be in the area and decided to stop in. The selection of women's dresses is much smaller than at Colorado and I-25. Some of the shelves with home decor or housewares, for example, just seemed kind of bare, like they hadn't restocked in awhile. I also concur with several reviews in that I waited in line for several minutes. At first they only had one cashier, despite a line of about four people which steadily increased. A second cashier came up but that still probably wasn't enough. They should definitely consider having more cashiers up front. They have lots of great, very reasonably priced clothing finds. Need business casual clothes for a new job? New workout clothes? A swimsuit? Warm weather clothes for once the April snow finally leaves? You can find them here, as well as shoes and accessories. Some of the brands they carry are virtually unknown, but I also spotted well-known, more upscale brands such as DKNY, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, Under Armour, Hydraulic, and so on. If you need a gift, you could easily find it here as well. They have lots of fun mugs, cute bath gift sets, and a surprisingly large selection of nice chocolate and coffee. read more

:( So disappointing. Came here for some house stuff. Saw that there was a 10% off entire purchase when you Check-In. Nice! Did our shopping... About $35 worth. Went to the counter, showed they guy the coupon on my phone. Straight up said they don't take online coupons. Was kinda rude about it too. Bought the stuff anyways. I explained to him that I understand company rules are company rules, but something should be done about how it's on Yelp, and that many people go to Stores, etc based on Yelp reviews. After browsing the store and making my selections I took them to the register to pay for my items. I waited six feet behind the current party at the register until I realized the cashier waving to get my attention. (I had my ear buds in and couldn't hear him if he had attempted to verbally get my attention.) He told me very rudely that the line actually started further behind me and when I turned around I actually realized maybe 12 feet back that there was another party who was in line before me. I apologized because the layout of the check-out line was a little confusing and very spaced out so it was an honest mistake on my part but he was still incredibly rude and abrupt in continuing to let me know that I needed to get at the back of the line despite the fact that I had already acknowledged that I had mistakenly entered the line at the wrong place due to confusion. The entire time I was waiting in line this gentleman kept giving me dirty looks as if I was going to cause some sort of issue when I had never even gotten an attitude about the situation to begin with. When it was finally my turn, he yelled at me, "Next in line!!!!!" with this crazy look on his face which was completely uncalled for as I had made it a point to turn my ear buds off so I could hear him, all the while staring me down while I waited to be called forward. When I finally got to the register, I attempted to diffuse the situation by asking how his day was and how he was doing and he responded by completely ignoring all of my attempts at making friendly conversation with him. When I looked at his name tag to get his name (Miguel, I believe) I saw that this was actually the STORE MANAGER! I was absolutely floored that a manager would exhibit this type of behavior especially towards a customer and especially during times like these when retail sales are drastically down. When he was ringing up my purchases he came across a pair of sweatpants that didn't have a tag and instead of doing a proper price check on the item, he told me he would be charging me the same price as the most expensive pair of pants in my cart. Is this how things are done? You just guess what the prices are if an item doesn't have a price tag? What has me leaving this review is what happened as I was leaving. As I turned to walk away, this manager said under his breath plain as day, "stupido maricon." What he obviously didn't consider is that I am fluent in spanish and for anyone who isn't aware this translates to "stupid faggot" in English. As an openly gay man I am no stranger to homophobia especially considering that it is very obvious that I am gay but I have never in my 33 years of walking this earth have I ever had an employee of a store I do business with address me like this. It was with that comment he made that I realized that his treatment of me throughout my entire visit was a result of his homophobia. As I left the store I began to cry because as sad as it is to say, this is not the first time I have been called a faggot in my life. What upset me the most is that I didn't have the courage to stand up for myself and immediately return my purchases because a business that condones this type of bigotry and blatant homophobia does not deserve the money that I work so hard to earn. I reached out to corporate and was given some cookie cutter apology that doesn't even address the issues I experienced. I feel hurt and let down by a brand that I love so much and have for many years. read more

I like this Ross. I like this Ross for shoe, dress, bag, and shirt shopping. Bedding can be ok and all else is usually hit or miss. I have also landed upon a few decent bras, woo hoo. Checking out at Ross is always the most unpleasant part but this one does not seem to be any more or less time consuming than others. I actually find this Ross to be a little more well cared for (AKA the isles are generally navigable). Lastly, this place does get an afternoon rush but it does not seem to be as insane as some others i have been to. read more

The absolute worst customer service ever. Every single time. Twice I've walked out because of it. I'll never shop there again. Yesterday the only cashier left a line full of people to attend another employee to shop while she was on break. Needless to say , I left my merchandise on the counter and left after ten minutes waiting. It's obvious the line of customers was the least important thing. I hope the employee shopping spent more than what I left behind and would have spent in the future. Also especially rude to customers as they heard you like cattle immediately after paying calling the next customer without having even time to put away your wallet. I WILL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN AND ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THE STORE. read more

i've lived right across the street for 14 months and not ONCE of the many times i've come here for various home & baby products have i NOT been profiled. they will even say out loud that they are watching you, not sure if it's to cause discomfort or if the staff is actually brain dead. have purchased many items with missing pieces and stains as in clothing as well. the ugliest staff & ross store you will ever experience. do not remove. i wish i could give less than a star. security guard needs to stop acting like he's getting 6figs a month & the cashiers need to stop acting like they're suffering PTSD from robbery at their old retail position. read more

The employees always seem pleasant to me, but it is inevitable, every single time I come here, I wait in line for 5-10+ min. With the consistent popularity of this location you think management would have a better hold on the amount of cashiers actually needed. Wrote this waiting in line, and am counting at least 10 groups trying to purchase behind me in line. It almost isn't worth it to come to this location looking to purchase a single item. They need a five items or less line; or more cashiers on the floor. read more

Ross is interesting to me because the quality varies so much from store to store. It's almost a word-of-mouth thing-- "Hey, do you know where a good Ross is?" So I thought I'd share my various Ross experiences and hopefully make the world a better place, in which everyone knows where the good Ross is. :) If I were to rate this particular store on cleanliness alone it would rate 4 stars, although I didn't get to check out the dressing rooms. I like me a clean Ross. Organization was decent as well, also a plus. However my friend and I found the selection to be poor, as far as Ladies (or Misses, or whatever they're calling average-sized adult female clothing these days) were concerned anyway. Nothing more annoying than seeing a mile-long rack of skirts and then finding there are only five size tens. My friend was looking for some dress pants and shirts for work and had no luck either. There were a few dress suits but they looked cheap, which was unfortunate since usually you can find plenty to wear at Ross without looking like you found it all at Ross. I didn't get to check out the juniors section as I was on a mission to find some "grown-up" clothes, and didn't feel like doing a little hubby shopping either so no men's. They did seem to have a pretty good selection of plus sizes however and there were piles and piles of jeans. The vastness of the clearance rack (at least on this particular day) also provides some great entertainment if not a great find. In summation, clean and organized but the selection leaves something to be desired. It was nice enough I'd give it a go again in a month and see if they've added anything. read more

I may live in Wisconsin, but I go to Colorado for vacation. I love shopping at Ross. They have great prices. They have unique items you will not find at you other stores. I always get complimented on the clothes I buy there. But there is so much more like shoes, bedding, towels, housewares, kitchen items, and too many to list. I recommend you stop in and shop. One helpful tip in shopping if you find something you like buy it, because if you don't it will not be there next time. I wish that we would have a Ross here in Wisconsin. Also I have had friendly customer service from their employees. Always appreciate a friendly helpful salesperson. read more
