I'm giving this 2 stars because I was misled when I went shopping at a Marshalls store in Colorado,14200 W Colfax Ave Lakewood, CO 80401 United States . I found a side table, and to avoid lugging it around the store, I asked them to hold it for me while I looked at other items; the price was $39.99, which suited me perfectly. When I went to pay, I picked up the table without checking the price tag again, since I had already seen it. However, when I got home and went to remove the tag, I saw that the price was actually $59.99. I initially thought I had misread it at the store, but upon closer inspection, I realized the tag had been swapped while the item was being held for me--the label actually showed a completely different table (a cabinet-style one with doors). Now I don't know what to do: should I return it, or ask them to refund the price difference? read more

Recently, I ordered something online and it took forever to get to me. But it came three days earlier but your system did not up date to me. Next, the moron on delivery service delivered it to the wrong address to next door and a person walked it over to me. What a lazy ass driver. Could this driver not write the label. Next, I called the call center and talked to a dumb ass witch, who could not find the order by phone, emailed, address finally I gave her the order number. I tried to explain the problem and this moron thought it was no big deal. Will I asked to speak to supervisor she gave he some bs story the manager was not available. I called the company corporate office and spoke to a nice guy. What's up with dumb rube lazy people this includes updating the system when devery, the driver and the call center employees.We are the customer and pay their wages. read more

When the store first opened, I was impressed with the standards that was provided for covid 19. Staff monitoring how many people were in the store, the carts were cleaned. However , they do have partitions between the cash registers and hand sanitizer is available. In all fairness, a lot of stores have changed practices since first opening and maybe its based on their day to day operations. The cashier didn't know much, which was frustrating. The store was clean and tidy and the prices were comparable to pricing before covid 19. I didn't find any markdowns that I could not leave behind. read more

I bought a pair of men's shoes and noticed the laces came out from the bottom eyelets so as I was re-lacing them and discovered a tear at the base of the tongue. The store was close so I drove back and returned them about an hour after purchasing them and the manager looked at me like I was being unreasonable. She barely spoke a word to me, and acted bothered that I not only returned the shoes but had the audacity to ask how long it would take for the money to be returned to my card. I always try to be kind and polite to retail folks since I know they likely aren't paid well and often have less than understanding bosses. Turns out I was right about this one. No pleasantries, just curt responses to me. I remained polite but that was mildly messed up. The woman that rung me up was kind but in the presence of her manager, she seemed to become reserved, likely not to seem to contradict her boss's attitude. Anyway, be wary of management and don't expect any kindness. Her silence was likely preferable to what she appeared to want to say. If you got this far, I commend you on being an avid reader. read more

Only giving this 2 stars because Marsha ( I think that's her name) was amazing and patient and so well adapted. She had at one point 18 people in line and even though there were workers, they refused to help. One guy walked up and said how busy it was and then left, and another girl said she didn't have any way of communicating that people needed to help the front and didn't even know who the manager is (which also seems weird). It seemed very unprofessional and I hope none of the customers were mean to her. read more

(Pricing is usually slashed, making that great blouse, even more worth it!) Interested in killing a few hours and getting your steps in? COME HERE! (my mother in law and I find ourselves diving through the racks, trying on countless clothes/shoes and having a snack while doing - getting our cardio in and eating up some time!!) Have an idea of what you want, but need help finding it? COME HERE! (Staff is ultra friendly, nice and willing to help in any way, as the store is filled to the brim with everything under the sun!) Can't find something in the store, but see it online? COME HERE! (and pick it up!) great selection but the staff tonight was very rude. One worker, Leslie, told us we had to go up to the register NOW because they were closing in 5 minutes. Another worker (probably in her late 30s brunette women with shoulder length hair) at the same time stood 1 inch away from up to make us uncomfortable so we would leave. I have worked in retail and understand the procedures. we had 5 minutes left and felt forced out and very unwelcome. You should close early if you want people to leave earlier. disappointing. read more

What's not to love about Marshalls? Discount prices on name brand stuff... Yes!!! I frequent this location often. With a Starbucks close by, The Joint (for chiropractic adjustments), and a King Soopers, it gives me every excuse to browse and check out all of the deals! Shoe department... for the kids. Name brands for $25 bucks or less (think Nike, Adidas, etc). Not only do my kids have comfortable shoes, but they look good, and my bank account still has money. Accessories... socks and underwear. It's a staple that us ladies, men, and kids need. So much money saved on socks and underwear alone! Make up/health and beauty care... brushes... masks... specialty oils... all the good stuff for the fraction of the price. Home goods... kitchen items... and specialty food items. Where else can you find kitchen scissors, glass food storage, gluten free chips, super foods and spices, and yummy teas? Stationary stuff. Journals... pens. Fun items to give as gifts, or to gift yourself. I even found Moleskine journals. Elsewhere, you would have to pay an arm and a leg! Clothing... for the hubby, kids, for me. I always find stuff for my kids. As a busy mom on a budget, I love to find unique items for my kids. Clothing that is durable, and will last for the season or longer. I find all the basic pieces I need for myself, and they are still in my closet, and I use these classic pieces often. For a gal that isn't in my 20s anymore, this is great! Although there are some awesome trendy pieces here. Young or mature gals... you can't go wrong with this place! The pet section is great too! I don't even have a dog... but I got a sweater for a dog we were dog sitting for. He was stylin' and warm, and he looked so handsome in his holiday sweater. The customer service here is superb. One time, I couldn't find the matching piece for a set of clothing. One of the associates helped me look through the racks for something similar and when we couldn't find anything, she adjusted the price accordingly. She went out of her way, even if she was busy with other things. I've always gotten friendly service from the cashiers too, regardless if they dealt with a tough customer, or they are busy in general. If there is a long line (think holiday time, pay day, upcoming snow storm, or summer heat wave), the lines go by fast. They also do a great job of keeping this place tidy and not overly messy. It's easy to search for items because they are in the right place. Thank goodness, because I can't stand having to rummage through clutter. Maybe that's why I buy so much good stuff here! The other spot to look for great deals, are the shelves while you're in line! Yes, we all know the marketing tactic, but hey, I can't tell you how often I've decided to buy that bag of plantain chips, those allergy friendly gummy candy, or that classic colored nail polish that would look great with all the clothes I'm deciding to buy. If you're looking for great deals, a gift for a friend or yourself... this Marshalls is the place to go. I've been to Marshall's in many different states and let me tell you this had the most friendly & welcoming staff. The line went very quickly. I had purchased a suitcase in fl and when I got to the airport the whole suitcase just opened due to a faulty zipper. I lost the receipt but had purchased in on my Marshall's credit card. Customer service was able to contact the store in Denver to tell them about my problem. They didn't argue or fight me everyone so helpful. They helped me out with a return very quickly and smoothly & even checked the zipper on the new suitcase I had exchanged it for. I def will be back! read more

I was already having a wonderful day and Ms. Mary and Mr. Maraj made it so much better! Both of these amazing employees went out of their way to make sure I had the best shopping experience possible; Mr. Maraj even going as far as taking me to the back stock room to help look for what I was needing. Both of them were extremely polite and patient, making my shopping experience a very very good one. They both exemplified such outstanding and wholesome customer service! The main highlight of my shopping experience was being able to purchase 50 velvet non-slip hangers for only $13.00 due to their amazing assistance. I am very grateful to them both! read more

I'm always looking for some deals and I was in the plaza on other errands and decided to pop in for a look. I'm glad I did, I found a pair of cute flats for $18 and a new water bottle for work. It's laid out well and feels open and not overly cluttered. It's worth a stop and a quick browse for some good deals. A girl could always use another pair of shoes. read more

Love the selection at the store, however as soon as I walked in the courtesy woman was just standing on her phone with gloves on, what's the point of the gloves then? Waited in line up front for twenty minutes to be helped while only one man had the register open. There were four workers just standing up front chatting instead of opening another one... The man stocking the shelves in the back was working really hard. Really rude service, everytime I come back here I'm reminded why I stayed away so long. read more

I actually really love this Marshall's location. They tend to get picked over quickly, so if at all possible, try to come as near as possible to the day when they get new stock in!
