Ross has always been a hit or miss for me in looking for home decor and clothing. Today was more of a miss and does not reflect the merchandise of the store, because from what I hear that delivery times come in during the weekdays and I might have just visited the store after all the deals and quality items have been purchased. If you are a bargain hunter and thrift store venturer, this is the place to go hunting and shop for the best deals. read more

NO STARS!!!!!!!!!!!! When I entered I did notice it was rather messy. I just was shopping with my little girl, age 10 for her birthday. As we approached the rear of the store we could hear several employees using profanity and talking about assaulting people in a very loud voices. I tried to shop a little further away from the unprofessional and inappropriate drama of the fitting room area by going in the kitchen utensil aisle. Two other employees were working there, neither of the employees responded when I asked if they had a particular item. They did not even offer to assist me in any way or even speak to me. The two employees just threw the merchandise around and commented on how loud the people in the fitting room were and how it sounded like a party. My daughter picked out several items to decorate her room. The price was right so we carried our items to the front of the store. As I went up to the registers to check out I noticed there were only two cashiers. I walked up at the same time as another lady. She was slightly ahead of me and I waited in line behind her as she wrote a check. When she finished the cashier refused to wait on me. I stepped up and she called for another customer. I told her I was next and she took a lady from the other line, and yelled at me in front of everyone and told me there was only one line. She again used profanity directed at me and my little 10 year old girl!!!!! She kept telling her name and that it didn't matter what I said she was not going to get into any trouble. There were clearly two lines and I had walked up at the same time as the lady she just rang up. Does Ross allow associates use profanity on the sales floor at all? Let alone directed to customers? In front of or directed to children? I am also shocked that I received no customer service at all in the store. I found this store messy and unprofessional. There was not anything about my experience that was pleasant. I would rather pay more to be respected when I shop. I feel disrespected and unappreciated as a customer. In this troubled economy consumers have a choice. The sour taste of poor service will out last the sweetness of a cheap price. I sent a letter to Ross to let them know how deplorable the service is at this location. I did get a reply, saying it would change. For some reason Ross seems to be short of merchandise lately. Most stores I have been to in the recent past have a lot of dead space and the shelves are not full. This is still another of my frequent choices when looking for dress slacks, socks, shirts and ties. There are some great bargains, but you have to look and hunting for bargains is fun. They would get 4 stars from me if they simply stocked their shelves with more merchandise. read more

This store is an ever rotating adventure! I appreciate the fluctuation in stock--I keep coming back because there is always something new. They have great prices too. I absolutely love wandering through the dress section, a lot of my favorites have come from here. read more

This Ross has the same issue as most other Ross stores that I've been in - I definitely feel like the inventory is lacking here. There's a lot of empty space on the racks that could be better utilized! Also I wish they carried more "expensive" brands for the handbags and shoes but I guess that is what Marshall's is for. The shoes are just piled on the shelves. The setup makes it look kind of messy. The housewares often have random cute things but once again I actually find the shelves to be quite bare. Boy do I love coming here to shop. Everything you need at a cheap price. Everything is kept organized and that what I like. Always take your time shopping here before you miss something great. I usually buy everything I need from this store. Stop by and enjoy shopping. You will take be disappointed. read more

This Ross is pretty standard. They have a lot to offer. I like that they do carry plenty of plus size clothing and it isn't frumpy clothing either. The clothing is very modern and comes from well known designers. They sell tons of Calvin Klein here. Almost every rack I sifted through had a piece of his clothing in it. I especially love the handbag section. They have several beautiful Betsey Johnson and Kenneth Cole bags. My current handbag I bought from this Ross. I'm always lucky when it comes to finding great handbags here. You can also find great beauty items here as well more than 80% of the original price. The staff is great here as well. It doesn't hurt that my little cousin works here as well. She's a very hard worker from what I have seen when I was there. She was busily putting back clothes on the rack before the closed. I definitely be back here often to see what kind of merchandise they have and it doesn't hurt that it doesn't hurt my wallet much!!! read more

This store sometimes has some great sales on nice clothing. They have Vince Camuto, Anne Klein and other quality brands hidden amongst the less appealing clothes. The downside, of course, is the organization of the store. The store is not aesthetically pleasing, and is typically very disorganized. Also, as a 25-year-old professional woman, I find this store a little difficult. There is a Juniors section that is geared toward teens and Tweens, and a Women's section that is geared toward women significantly older and more conservative than I am. I love to save money, but finding something that I can comfortably wear is more of an exception than the rule. read more

I love shopping at Ross Dress for Less but lately I've been very disappointed. I wear a size 5 1/2 in women's shoes and It hard to find cute sandals or shoes in my size and it's very hot or miss at Ross but the last few times I've been I've found super cute sandals and flip flops and they have had the price and size stickers on the inside sole of them and after getting home and trying it is an absolute nightmare to get the stickers off and if the paper wears of the sticker the adhesive is still left on them and I'm allergic to adhesive! The last 2 pairs have been suede that the stick was stuck to and it was impossible to get off! I'm so disappointed that I don't plan to buy anymore shoes from Ross!!! I wish they would put them on the outside bottom so it can at least wear off and my feet aren't irritated from the adhesive! read more

As with any Ross I have been to, this one has mediocre customer service and the display of items is lacking but if you come to a store like this you should expect to dig a little. You don't come to Ross for customer service, it's like an unused garage sale. You find your bargains and leave happy with that. I've found a lot of good deals here after a bit of digging. read more

At this Ross be prepared to do the cashier's job by checking the sku if an item is on clearance. You will be highly disappointed once you arrive at checkout to realize the item is not actually on clearance but is still regular price. Oh and did I mention they will not honor the clearance price eventhough the sticker was already on it. They claim that people switch the stickers to get the item at a lower price. Just when you got all excited about your bargain by thinking you got a deal, it all came crashing down. This certainly calls for an unpleasant shopping experience at this Evans Ross. From now on, I will be taking my business to the Augusta store. read more
