Typically love Ollie's, but this one is a miss for us. We generally shop at Ollie's for books and this one has no organization. Books are just thrown anywhere and it is very difficult to search through them. The point where we could hear the workers yelling to each other from across the store about how bad their stomach hurt and they needed to go to the bathroom (while assisting other customers) is the point we just decided we were done searching. read more

I love the prices but the store is so messy and staff are beyond rude to the point where I don't even want to go there anymore. First thing in the morning Jason was already being aggressive. I know people go through things and so do I but there is no need to take it out on me. He asked me about an Ollie card and I said no because I was honestly in a hurry. Maybe on a different day I would've considered it. He started slamming everything while huffing and puffing. The store had a wide variety of items. I especially liked the children's books,most hardcover at a great value. In checking out other items, an employee asked if I needed help with anything and at the register the clerk was very efficient and informative. I assume this isn't the first complaint you got about a Jason. He was very rude and disrespectful not only to me but everyone else in line. I almost put all of my stuff down and walked out because of the way he was acting and talking to me and all the other customers. I was not happy with my experience inside the store at all. It doesn't matter what kind of day you are having you never talk to a customer the way he was. He was huffing a puffing because I didn't have an Ollie's card then got mad when I didn't want to purchase one. As well as slamming our purchase on the counter as he was ringing them up. read more

Even though this business is new to the area, it feels very familiar. I have family members in another state who talk about it all the time. So when the opening day came around, I knew I had to stop in. It was immediately apparent that Ollie's has a good reputation. The morning of the line of customers waiting to get in was outside and around the corner of the building. I decided to come back. That evening the parking lot was still full, but at least no one was waiting to get in. I will mention, for the locals, this is located in the building formerly occupied by Toys R' Us. If you are looking for something at a great price, something that is seasonal (i.e. types of candy), or something you didn't even know you needed (i.e. Nutter Butter cereal) this is the place for you. Now on your way in, be sure to read the signs just inside the doors. They are a classic example of straightforward, but make-ya-grin kind of marketing. I was pleasantly surprised by the large children's books area in the front right corner. But I am grateful for it. Each area has signage from the ceiling and each aisle has more detail on what is on the shelves. If it is your first visit, I highly recommend just walking down every aisle. You never know what you'll find. From lawn furniture to rugs to auto needs to coffee to cookware to clothing, it's all here. The only missing elements I saw were refrigerated and frozen goods. I now see why so many rave about this place. Staples and more, for a great price. Glad they finally made their way to Augusta! read more

Heard of this obscure store from an Alabama Yelper and they gave me the 411 of a grand Opening in...you guessed it..Augusta! Stopped in there today and it was packed, but the aisles were clear for the most part and customer associates were ever ready to organize items that patrons threw about. It is a hodgepodge of items, the best way I can describe it is a couple of steps up from the store Big Lots. Will have to go back in when it is less crowded for the in-depth look. read more

I love Ollie's ever since I was introduced to it back in 2014 in Frederick, Maryland. In my opinion Ollie's and Trader Joe's are two of the best stores in this country. Not to mention that they always carry delicious high-quality Italian products from my hometown in New Jersey. I introduce my mother to the store when she was in town a few weeks ago and she was completely blown away by the incredible high-quality products at affordable prices.
