Ross is a destination store for the discounted products on dusty shelves. The prices are always decent, this the store, doesn't seem to matter which one you go to, always seems dusty and dirty, no matter if how old it is. This one is no different. We went for dog beds today, they had plenty, but not really what we wanted. We left empty handed with a mission to hit the next Ross. All I can say is RUDE and DISMISSIVE. The young lady, Asia checked me out. Didn't greet me, speak, nothing. She just talked to her manager about her move to the west side Ross. Just passed me my stuff looking and continuing to carry on conversation saying that pillows and mat wouldn't fit in bags (and they did). One could argue, "what do you expect, it's Ross?" Well, where ever she goes I hope she has better customer service and managers that support good customer service, The manager then started talking about how she wanted to move stores. Customer service is the worst here, rude supervisor asked if I could return without my receipt or exchange it for something was told no, all though at other locations they do let you return with out receipt got store credit. I wasn't even upset about that and just let it go, but right after that they gave off a bad attitude because of that lol. read more

A total dump. I totally understand that part of the fun of going to places like Ross or TJ Maxx is the treasure hunt aspect. In fact, I'm a big fan of searching for the cute skirt or unique kitchen utensil at a great price. I love finding a bargain. But at this location the employees don't even act like they care what the store looks like. Nothing is organized, in fact its the total opposite. Shelves sit either empty or with way too much stuffed on them. An actual store display? Forget about it. It's a total junkyard. If you really want to go to a Ross and actually enjoy the "hunt" go to the new Ross on 7th Street...it's still a crap shoot on whether you'll leave empty handed or find tons of stuff but at least you won't get frustrated and fed up while looking. read more

Hulen store in Fort Worth has the worst management. Just watched while 2 cashiers tried to keep up with a steady line of customs. ..line kept at about 15 people at all times. The manager just stood there and watched them. Didn't help bag, didn't open another register, doesn't call another cashier to the front. Just stood there literally doing nothing. As I left, I mentioned to get that she might want to help them instead of doing nothing and her response was she hoped that 2 had a good day since I was invisible in a bad mood. Extremely rude. If I could give no stars I would. I have never walked into a store and had such horrible customer service. I wanted to try on several bras, but little did I know how to rude the dressing room attend it would be. I first told her I had eight items, then she rudely told me I need to hang them all up so she can count them out, I didn't know what the procedure was. Then she sends me all the way to the front of the store from the back of the store where I was because they have to remove a "hard tag "which is the security device that is pinned into the clothing item. This hard tag was on every single hanger to bra where you could not even remove it from the hanger. So as I go upfront the lady upfront was also very rude and her name is Desiree. As I watched her very ungracefully remove all of the hard tags, then she placed a new hard tag back on every single item again and binding them in a way that would make it very difficult to try them on. When you want to try on a bra you want to make sure it fits properly. I'm assuming this must be an item that is stolen frequently for them to go through such procedures. Should not be this difficult just to take an item to the dressing room and try them on. I wasted 15 minutes going through this and I will not be returning to the store. I feel like if they would've put in some sort of effort to at least show some kindness in customer service it would've gone a lot smoother. The dressing room attendant was nowhere in sight after I left the dressing room or I would've posted a photo of her too. read more

What a mess. It a feels like a giant Goodwill. Which is exactly why I shop stores with a more specific style or selection. Bargain hunt simply not worth the hassle of the search. More the fault of the business model of an "ideal" shopping experience at Ross than some metric of measurement in this particular store's ability to meet that ideal. read more

Hi At this location the check out lady..try to hide my store credit and made it seem like she already gave it to me. After looking and asking her again and again she asked me to go look for it in the cart and after looking and worrying when I came back finding nothing then she slowly takes out my store credit which she was hiding and gives it to me saying I issued you a new store credit. And next day when I tried to use that credit it didnot have any amount/value on it. It was blank . read more

Ross's store management at "some" locations have "somewhat" improved. They are starting to make regular announcements on the PA system to remind those parents that are ignorant to watch and keep close to them their demon-possess brats while in the store. Their bouncers, or rather, security staff are talking now and greet you as you come in. The exception being the female one at the troubled Hulen location. She still isn't talking. She completely ignores you when you talk to her, I'll assume she is a deaf-mute person,that's why she ignores you,right? There is hope despite the resistant few staff that just don't want to act right. At Hulen I am happy to report the staff is now wearing underwear, clothing that covers them up, thank God. At The Cooper location a clerk by the name Ashton was very nice,great personality and gave excellent service. He gave such good service I had to double check to make sure I wasn't at Macy's or Dillards. At Hulen they have remodeled the entrance. I will periodically keep my Yelpers posted. Jesus, who wants to spend an arm and a leg all the time at the big name retailers due to the discount retailers giving such crappy service, I know I don't. I came to this Ross today, it was a mess and unorganized but I can usually find what I need. I went into the restroom (ladies) and it was a mess! Someone had an explosive accident in one of the stalls(it was everywhere..on the floors and the toilet was covered in it.) and the smell was horrible! I didn't even want to use it anymore so I went to go report the incident to a worker, Cherika was her name I believe. Anyway when I told her the restroom was really dirty all she said was "yes we know" there was no sense of urgency on the situation, she barley made eye contact with me and she walked away. So while checking out I told another worker and she said "oh yes I heard there was an accident in there." Again no sense of urgency. This Ross is nasty and the employees obviously don't care about the cleanliness of their store or their customers and their health. If a child who didn't know any better were to go sit in there they would be exposed to so many bacteria that could cause serious illnesses. A mess like that needs to be cleaned up right away. read more
