I love at Home! I decided to kill some time before my Birthday Party. It was so fun to see how things are organized and all the Christmas Decor! I noticed the inflatables are larger, there's more Grinch merch and lots of Santa Clause Merch. Employees were talking amongst themselves,one employee was busy try to put merch back in the right spot. There were a few Cashiers and a long line, it's not even Thanksgiving or Christmas yet! Our shopping exp on a Saturday night was great, my friend & i both found what we were looking for. But our customer service exp was exceptional & that's why i'm writing this review. My friend left her phone at a register after we paid & we didnt realize it til we got home. Scott (?) waited at the store after close while she rushed back up there to get it, even tho the staff was in the process of leaving. This was so kind of him to do & it was truly appreciated. All of your staff that eve was pleasant & helpful, but we'll never forget how they went above & beyond after hrs. People in retail are rarely this gracious. Lest start this is like an ikea but cheaper they really have a lot of stuff. The prices are low as well but the quality is not bad. The store is big and u real can't shop it in one day unless u know what ur looking for. But just to brows it takes a wile to take it all in then like me u can find that thing u been looking for but don't really need but u get it anyway. I know I gave it 3 stars but I did get something from them and it was missing parts. Now I also have not really be to look at the whole store yet it's just that big maybe I will Chang it when I go back to check out more stuff and take back the idem that was missing parts. read more

At Home is a jumble. They order a hundred of each item, and, instead of storing extra in the back, they pile everything really high. They do have a lot of cute decor, but I found that the quality did not match the price. A lot of the items were cute but nonfunctional. For example, the end tables often have drawers that don't easily slide open. They don't have that great of sales or coupon options either. I don't know if I will come back because I'm not willing to pay that much for mass market, below average quality goods. read more

I don't normally review stores but I felt I had to as I've had such a bad experience at this one. I looked online first and came in to see their Halloween and fall decor and I'm not sure if it's almost all gone or all put up but the Christmas stuff is out and there's one table dedicated to it which was disappointing. I couldn't find what I was looking for so when i got home I ordered online for store pick up, when ordering it did not state that the stuff was out of stock so I ordered the pieces, however I got an email stating they only had 1 item. It was late so I was planning to go the next night to collect the item when I received an email stating they had the other items but I would have to pay at store as they cancelled the order. When I arrived I stood at the checkout for online pick up and the guy completely ignored me and called a customer from the normal check out line so I waited until she was done and then I stepped forward and he again called another customer. I had to step in and say I was waiting to pick up my order and showed him my verification email and he was like oh what's the name like I was showing himself alien. He radioed a girl and she finally came out with 1 item from the original order and he tried to charge me even though I paid online! It's such a shame because the décor was so cool but it's really put me off using this store id rather go to Michael's or someone who seems more organised read more

Terrible customer service and return policy. I returned 3 plant pots. They had been purchased a week prior. The manager refused to accept because it had water remnants. I told them it had no holes for draining and he said I should have drilled a hole through. And asked me why I didn't notice that it had poor drainage when I purchased the items. If I had drilled holes Then how would I have returned the item?? They seem to want to make everything difficult here. read more

Now hailing by the name "At home", this store sells an overwhelming amount of, well... everything for the home. About the size (if not bigger) as a Lowes or a Wal Mart Supercent, this place is a behemoth of a shopping trip waiting to happen. When I visit with my mom, we are often lost for hours (rarely can we go in with a list and come out with ONLY what was on the list.) But a full basket does not neccesarily mean an empty wallet- their prices are usually pretty reasonable, if not cheaper than competitors, but know what to get and what not to get! BUY HERE: -FURNITURE EMBELLISHMENTS- pillows, couch covers, sheets, etc.- they have an amazing collection encompassing everything from classic and ornate to camo and tacky as heck. -HOLIDAY ITEMS- No matter the holiday, a large chunk of their store will be devoted to seasonal stock. Again, at reasonable prices. (Go right after the holiday is over and stock up for the next year at half price!) -MISC. DÉCOR- need some sparkly sticks? They'll have them. Need a vase shaped like a giraffe? They'll have it. Need an entire set of hollow encyclopedia books to store super secret stuff? They have that too! This is the best place to just walk around and find cool (and sometimes completely impractical) items. -SHELVING- Strange, but true. They have a ton of unique and fun shelving units. BUY ELSEWHERE: -KITCHENWARE- usually, they offer the same brands as stores like Target and Wal Mart, but with higher prices -BAKING SUPPLIES - piping equipment, sprinkles, etc.- again, generic, and cheaper elsewhere -BASIC FURNITURE- don't buy your couch or mattress here- they are not the quality that you really need If you ever get bored and need to kill a couple hours, this place rocks. It was my first time stepping Into this store and I was surprised by how nice some of their items are! There were many items on clearance!! I just wish that their clearance was separated from regular items because it was hard to browse through. I was intrigued by the large selection of wall art! Many of it was 50% off! So all of the Garden Ridge's have been replaced with At Home's. I don't see any other changes except the name. Since moving we have been in search of random decor, furniture, patio stuff- etc. They really have everything here. I found an entire isle devoted to Buddha statues. Maybe you think one of the major keys to success is having a lion statue in your garden. At home has a whole lion garden statue section. Lion alert. read more

This store is just a huge collection of everything you can imagine for your home. Decor for every season, furniture, candles, EVERYTHING. It's the same size as a Walmart, if not bigger. I haven't actually purchased anything so I'm not sure about quality. But we found it very hard to find an employee when we had a question. Couldn't find one anywhere. When we move soon I'll definitely be coming here to get a few decorations! read more

This place is fun to just walk around and look at what they have. They have nice products for a good price. The furniture is really cheap and not the best of quality. I have been in and out of Garden Ridge since I was little and the only one in Texas was down in Schertz. What. The.Heck. has happened to this company? You go in any of their stores now there are pallets full of scrubs, pajamas, t-shirts and books but no real decor items. At least not to the scale of what they used to have. I went a couple of weeks ago before Christmas to get some gift items and I couldnt find what I was looking for or anyone who could tell me whether they carried it at all. I'm assuming there was a change at the wheel at some point in the last 5 years because thats when their stores in general started switching out their merchandise. I've started spending my money at Michael's, and Hobby Lobby because while they are as expensive as the day is long they have everything I need from paint canvas', to dried flowers, and candles. read more

This is by far one of the worse stores ive been to. My first few experiences with garden ridge went great. But the last few times i went to the store have been awful. My husband is a chef and they sale chef apperal, so i decided to go see if they carried his size. The first trip they did not so i figured they must be getting a shipment soon. So no big deal. I gave it a few days and returned, still no pants. After speaking with a very rude and yet aggrivated CSR they explained they had no idea what comes on the trucks or when they recieve them. I didnt believe her but her attitude was becoming so ungrateful that I left. About a month later Idecided to return just to check. This time the cloths were tangeled up and just thrown on the palet. Not seperated or even folded. Just thrown there. I decided to take matters into my own hands and start puting them on then pallel which was empty.. after about five minutes of doing so an employee came up to me and ask if i needed help, I declined after aready going thru this mess. I have yet to go back.. This is by far the worse experience with what use to be a wonderful store. I will not be returning. read more

I don't know how they can get away with such unfriendly customer policies on returns and exchanges without a receipt, even tho the item has Garden Ridge tag on it. I will give my money to Walmart, Target, Big Lots, and other stores that care about the customer and are willing to at least off store credit or exchange. read more
