The staff and items were fine but this was the most messy Ross I have ever been into. Lots of clothes and other items just lying all over the floor and there was a nonstop ringing in the air from something in the store that was really loud. It was not that busy while I wS here either. read more

This nation-wide chain of stores is for the discount shopper. Not only the discount shopper but the shopper who doesn't mind irregular items who doesn't pass other vendor inspection. This store is designed for the shopping "digger". I like to dig to find the 'gems', sales or markdowns. The store is clean and has some order to it. This is a hit or miss shopping experience. Items are stocked daily. So don't give up, just return in 2 days and new items will be there. But if you see something you like, you better grab it right away; because if you leave it could be gone within an hour of you leaving. It has happened to me on more than one occasion. read more

Went there on Sunday August 13th at about 10:00 -10:30 a.m. I found what I was looking for. It was early so the store was neat e r than other times. There were two cashiers open one was assisting w customers in be t ween returns n t h e other one was at the register . I've go to this store 2-3 times per month n I've never had such a courteous, fast n polite cashier. I kinda of memorized his name, but not too sure of the spelling , Westley. He greeted us when we first got tot g e register, asked if we found everything ok, n then wished us a great day. honestly this had never, ever happened before. NO, I don't know this guy, never seen him before but if you hired a few more like him this store would be the greatest. read more

I'm just gonna be honest here. It's nice customer service and nice people but the entire store looks like a dirty room. There's clothes everywhere, some of the stuff have been stolen from people and there's shoes on the ground, pillows on the ground to I mean at least clean the store. Felt like I was in another country. Messiest Ross I've ever been too. Garments in the floor, shoes in the middle of the aisle.

This Ross has horrible management. The lines are always long because they have one or two registers open. Then in customer service they have two people taking return when there isn't a big line there. It makes no sense, this makes you not want to shop there because the lines are so frustrating. This is the only Ross in homestead and they need to improve this and have all registers open. read more

My first time ever going in a ROSS, and definitely my last! Asked an attendant where the curtains were located, she told me to check with customer service. The store was an absolute MESS!! Only 2 registers open, with 500 people in line. TERRIBLE! Its no wonder why Amazon is putting these stores out of business. I actually think 1 star is too good for this store. read more

I called the store the night before yo know at what time they were closing they told me at 10:30 Pm and I was there at 8:40, and did not let me in because there were supposed to close at 9:00, the point is that wasn't even 9:00. I think they should give more information to the employees so customers don't have to go all the way there for nothing. read more

My friend and I stopped in to look at a table she saw last week. While she looked, I went to the bathroom and there was no paper so I asked the attendant that works in the dressing room if she could have someone put bathroom paper in the women's bathroom. She said the bathroom attendant only works in the morning. I went to the front of the store and spoke to the Manager. I told her the bathrooms need attention and that someone should be checking the bathrooms throughout the day. She did not apologize or thank me for bringing this to her attention. She stated she was going to go put bathroom tissue in the bathroom in just a minute. About 15 minutes later, I go back there and ask the dressing room attendant if she put paper in there and the attendant said all she did was put an out of order sign in there. My friend made the long line to pay for her table and a blouse. She brought three blouses to show that they were all the same price but the one she wanted was double the price. The cashier told her that although they were all the same, the one she wanted had just arrived today and therefore the price could not be matched. The place was unorganized and the customer service representatives along with the manager need to be trained better people skills. We will not be returning to this store. read more

The inventory at this Ross was phenomenal. Their shelves were packed with great buys and everything was very organized. I would have given this location 5 stars if it wasn't for the cashier who threw the stuff (dress pants, ties, etc) in the bag without even folding them and she didn't even offer a 'thank you.' Perhaps, like the first reviewer mentioned, it is partly because English seems to be a second language in this area. read more

I love discounts and constantly check out TJ Maxx, Marshalls and Ross. I will avoid this one even though it's around the corner from my house. I went to ask one of the associates a question and she only spoke Spanish. Did not want to make the effort to communicate in Spanish as she made no effort to communicate in English. The store is not user friendly. The aisles are too narrow. I tried to shop there, but a worker was putting items back on the rack. She came up behind me, then tried to pass, but there was not enough room. I had to back down the row to she could do her job. Although she was aware of the inconvenience, she came back not once but twice, making it impossible to make any clothing selection. On her 4th attempt, I left in frustration. Staff needs training on customer service. I would not recommend anyone shop in this store. read more

Super messy Ross. Always about 2 registers open and it's a lot of stuff just everywhere. Major key... you definitely have to go Wednesday's or Thursday's mid day. That's when it's the cleanest and stocked up. To go there on the weekend is madness and a waste of time. You may or may not find something. read more
