Maria's service was so rude at the cashier. I walked up politely said hello, after she had rudely called over she could help at 1. Said hello, and she just started grabbing my items without even a single word back, then proceeded to set down all the items with a bit of force. Her attitude was very poor and very disrespectful in my opinion. I understand having a bad day but I literally did nothing but say hello. She told me my total, I had cash in my hand ready to hand to her and without even looking at me she restates the total and taps the card machine and then realized I have cash and was very snarky. The gentlemen behind me aswell noticed and said something. I walked out before I did anything not so nice. I will be calling the manager later on to make sure this is taken care of. read more

I was having IBS problems and went to the bathroom. Sweet Ambi was there doing fitting room as well. She had kind words and a sweet demeanor and was about to unlock the door but another employee was going to restroom so she unlocked it, also nice. I was in for awhile when Ambi came in to check on me to make sure I was OK, I was and I thanked her for her helpfulness. I came out and she saw I was hot and gave me time with her fan and a bottle of her own water. I was so impressed by her heart that I asked her to be my friend, which she said yes. She deserves more than a pat on the back for her caring for a complete stranger and she made my day there special. I will recommend Ross to my friends and family because of her. read more

Ross Stores, TJ Maxx and Marshalls are all owned by the same company. Many times, you can find two or more of these retail stores collocated within the same shopping center. All three stores carry shoes, clothing, housewares, purses, luggage, and perfume. You can walk from one of these three stores straight in another and they will have some of the exact same stuff. If I had to rate the quality - TJ Maxx is the nicest, closely followed by Marshalls. Ross' set up isn't as aesthetically pleasing and seems to be long time clearance merchandise. I have found a few good buys, but you have to look a little harder for a jewel. Here's a recap of today's particular visit. I have done a TON of shopping the past few weeks in similar type stores (Gordman's, Target, Marshalls, TJ Maxx, I would even throw in Kirkland's). I know what price range certain things should be in. Ross was a HUGE mess. I always shop cosmetics - looking for more products I don't need! The entire section was so trashed. I will dig a little for a good buy. However, I am not going to scavenge for something that is the same prices as stores that are organized. Trust me, I do not blame this entirely on Ross. Shoppers do not have to be so disgusting and act like animals while shopping and destroy racks of clothes and shelves of products. I browsed thru furniture/housewares. I liked a few things, but none of it was a great buy. I ended up with yet another pair of black Nike workout pants and some Dayspring note cards for my mom. Yah, so I did end up making a purchase. The pants were $20 - not a huge discount from any other store. The greeting cards were $3.99 a box. Not necessarily great buys either. I just happened to like them and think my mom will too. If I am on that side of Lawton, I will stop in, but usually it is just to browse. It is a good place to blow some time! read more

This Ross was actually clean and well organized! I didn't plan to post a review but I was so surprised that the store was tidy I even took a picture. I've since been back and even had to return an item. The return process went smoothly and staff was helpful. read more

Good location, but you really have to watch the clothing/items for issues. I have bought merchandise that I wish I hadn't..Inspect all of the clothing you may be interested in and definetly try it on first. I don't like the single file line where the guard just stands there like you are going to steal something when all what you want to do is buy it and go! I am a bargain shopper that likes quality. I didn't find it here. Sometimes bums have come up to me asking for money on my way out. Very awkward and doesn't make you feel safe. read more

If I could give this store a negative rating, I would. Let me start off with saying, this happens to be the filthiest Ross Store I have ever been in and never has any organization. Every time I have visited this location, the store has trash on the floors, the shelves are dirty and the store is never organized. I have visited a number of Ross Stores, and by far this store is on the top of my list of being the worst! Never have I been in a store where there is merchandise, trash or even spills on the floor and the employees do not see fit that it is picked up; rather it is left on the floor. On occasion I have seen the GM Tommy in the store, which further tells me that he himself is not seeing this as an issue because these occurrences are still happening. What is the purpose of being the GM if you are not going to see fit that your store is at it's best and is presentable to your customers. As a previous retail worker and manager, this is very unacceptable and it speaks volumes about the GM, Employees, and makes the Ross Company look bad. I am in hopes that this review is taking seriously and that these concerns are addressed. I would hate to see this store go down due to the lack of leadership and concern. read more

My wife likes Ross. Besides the fact that the place gives me the creeps I will try and put that aside and write an honest review. The place is normally a wreck. I put a little blame on the store personnel yes but mostly on the unhinged shoppers that frequent Ross. Why do you have to trash the place? The merchandise is not even yours yet, that's not shopping people at the very least it should be considered a form of vandalism. I don't see this at any other Ross's just Lawton. Get a grip people! In any case my wife can pretty much find what she is looking for and for a good price. Not so much with me. Like I said I get the creeps just walking in the place let alone buying something I will never use because after I take it home I know its from Ross. Every time I go to use said Item I'm reminded of that, get creeped out, and don't use it. It just gets thrown in the yard sale pile. I also don't watch what she buys. If I know she is wearing something she bought at Ross well... same scenario. "Why don't you hug me"? says she. "I'm catching a cold"! says I. Great! Now I'm a liar! Lying to the most important person in my world because I'm creeping on the green blingy sweater thingy from Ross that she is wearing is not good, not good at all. So I turn a blind eye and stay as long as I can take it before I have to pop a Xanax and or make an excuse and go hide out at Hobby Lobby.... I'm getting the creepy feeling now just writing this. Maybe I will just delete this so I don't get creeped out that this review is in my reviews....I don't know, we will see. If this review disappears tomorrow you'll know why... read more

Manager is an idiot with no customer service skills, I brought it to his attention that there was a pair of insoles that had human hair stuck in it like some one shaved their whole beard on it and he said they were fine to be sold. That is straight up nasty. The store used to be organized a different way and now they have have racks that are overstocked and you cant find anything and nearly empty racks that could have been condensed to one rack. Best option is to avoid Ross and go to TJ Maxx on west side. read more

There's random things all over the store, so you really have to look to find anything good. I don't like going here though, it's gross inside and the check out line always takes forever. Compared to other Ross stores, this one is by far the worst one I've ever been to. It makes me feel uncomfortable by how messy it is inside. read more
