I have always felt Hobby Lobby is generally overrated. Don't get me wrong, the place has beautiful stuff and I can blow A LOT of time looking around. It is pricey and comparable items at other stores (like Kirkland's, Gordman's, TJ Maxx, etc) are much cheaper. Their items on sale are what I would consider full price. With that, they DO have unique items I have not seen in other stores and I have shopped at LENGTH the last few wks over many stores and several states. For example, one picture I found half price in Hobby Lobby was $80. I purchased the exact same picture for $24.99! at Kirkland's. It is a lovely picture with vibrant, bold colors, but I wouldn't pay $80 for it on my nuttiest day! Overall, shop wisely at Hobby Lobby. I do make purchases here, but it is ALWAYS with a coupon or on clearance.

While up in Lawton on a day trip, I went to the Hobby Lobby up there and was impressed with the vast array of Christmas decor, especially compared to the local one here in Wichita Falls, Texas. Additionally, the customer service was simply amazing as they were both friendly in terms of assisting with price comparisons and searching for a particular item in the back of the warehouse.

This location is a decent size, but doesn't seem to have all of its merchandise yet. Oddly enough, it's not even August and they have fall/harvest/Thanksgiving decor out! Me thinks a little early for that. Kirkland's carries a range of home decor - including some furniture, pictures, curtains, candles, etc. The prices are very reasonable and they always have sales and coupons online. New - to me at least - is the Kirkland's "spin to win" app where you can "spin" for your chance at a discount (various amounts) every day. You can download in the app store. I don't ever buy here w/o a coupon or some type of discount!

I say not inventory but I always seem to find something cool at Kirkland's that is also affordable not so much at Dillard's. Quality beats Hobby Lobby as far as home homey home dust catcher stuff. I don't know what HL Lawtonians are shopping at because the one I go too has a lot of broken chipped and scratched crap. Kirkland's does not. They don't have as much crap but the crap they do have is very well taken care of. It smells nice. Not like Walmart or just about any other place in town. Yes I'm sure people fart and have bad BO in Kirkland's just like at Walmart. The difference is you cant smell it at Kirkland's (I've tested it) they have these square paper packet things stuffed in every crevice that smell like wonderfulness. My only complaint is every time I go into that store I spend money, but I come out smelling nice so its worth it....

She was able to find him an interesting necklace, as well as a heart shaped stone, a chain to put the necklace on, and a nice bag to store them both in - all for a very reasonable price. They have many other items as well, including incense and essential oils. I had just recently stocked up on all the oils I need, but I will come back in the future to restock here as they have a nice selection. Also, they are Yelp friendly! When you check in, you are offered 10% off your purchase, which was very nice of them and certainly helped my niece save money. Love the store!

I have been coming to this store since before I even lived in the Lawton area, so this was not my…read morefirst visit or my first experience supporting this business. That history made what happened during this visit particularly disappointing. For the most part, the visit started out pleasantly. Two employees greeted me warmly while I browsed and asked if I needed assistance. I appreciated their kindness, and my daughter and I were enjoying choosing crystals together during her first visit to a spiritual store. Unfortunately, my interaction with the manager, Audrey, was very different. I had been browsing the oracle decks for approximately 15 minutes with my small backpack-style purse on me. Audrey came out of the back room near where I had been browsing, walked past me without saying anything, continued to the counter, and only after reaching the counter turned and loudly stated that backpacks were not allowed and that mine needed to be left behind the counter. That distinction matters to me. She had just walked directly past me and could have spoken to me personally and discreetly. Instead, she waited until she was at the counter to loudly announce the policy to me. I explained that it was my purse and that I could not leave it behind the counter because it contained something that needed to remain in my possession and for which the store could not assume responsibility. Rather than argue about the policy, I took my bag to my vehicle and returned to finish shopping. My issue is not the existence of a bag policy. Businesses are entitled to establish reasonable loss-prevention policies. My issue was the way Audrey chose to communicate it and how singled out and uncomfortable that made me feel, particularly after I had already been browsing for quite some time and had interacted pleasantly with two other employees without anyone mentioning my bag. Audrey's tone and decision to address me loudly from the counter rather than simply speaking to me when she walked past felt unnecessarily harsh and embarrassing. The interaction left me questioning why I was treated that way, including whether racial bias may have played a role. I cannot know her motivation, and I will not claim to know it. I can only speak to what occurred, the difference in how I was treated, and how the interaction made me feel. I chose not to allow that encounter to ruin the experience for my daughter. We purchased the crystals she had chosen, and before leaving I specifically thanked the employees who had been welcoming and kind to us. As someone who has supported this store since before I was even a local resident, this is not a review I expected to be writing. I support small businesses and enjoy supporting spiritual and metaphysical shops, but a policy can be enforced without making a customer feel publicly singled out or unwelcome. Unfortunately, because of my interaction with Audrey, I will purchase future decks and supplies elsewhere.

It was easy to order online and have them sent to the church for the service. Sunday delivery was unavailable so I put the order in for Saturday so they'd be at the Sunday viewing, but then I got a phone call from Stacy. She was super nice and explained that they are receiving other orders for my friend's funeral and all will be delivered Monday morning so everything is set up for the funeral service scheduled for Monday at 10 AM. I appreciated her calling and I also appreciated her explaining everything to me and the plans for delivery. I hope the Peace Lilly is beautiful and I hope to get a report back from friends that are attending the service. Five stars for helpful and kind customer service by Stacy.

Since I was ordering online the day of her birthday I was concerned that they might not be delivered to her until the day after especially if they were busy. However, that was not the case. Get this - the flowers I ordered were not only absolutely beautiful but they delivered to my mom 1 HOUR after I ordered them online! Can you believe that?! That's the fastest I've ever had anything arrive. I was so impressed. Scott's definitely has found a repeat customer when I ever need to order again!
