I'm going to give a brief review and give five stars because this is Ross and I've been in waaaaaay worse Rosses. Like, not even close. If you've never been, they sell whatever big companies ordered too much of. There's different stuff each time. The organization isn't perfect and you may waste an hour because they have nothing you need, but sometimes you find gems, and if you're a standard size and just need some socks and water bowl for your dog, you'll find something. Prices are always good because that's the point. The store is clean by Ross standards, and most mess/disorganization is just customers rudely leaving things wherever. This has got to be the worst managed Ross in the state. 1- one cashier with at least 15 people standing in line while another person who was a cashier but stopped so she could sort and rubber band hangers together. Really? That task is more important than customers waiting in line? 2- watched the Loss Prevention person visit with the person who was doing Returns while a woman ran out the door with a huge basket full of stolen things. What did the Loss Prevention person do? Walked over to the door and watched, then back to visiting. 3- after standing in line for literally 20 minutes and watching this, when I got to the cashier, I thanked her for being friendly and working so hard. I asked who the manager was & was told it was Jodi. I sat in my car for a minute and then called the store and asked to talk to Jodi, and was told that Jodi was shopping...which is fine. Jodi- I hope you got to stand in line for 30 mins and watch your staff from a customer's prospective. I will drive to Lacey and go to Marshalls before I ever step foot in your Ross store again. read more

Not very clean or picked up, but customer services is really good. Kind of difficult to get into the dressing rooms because they don't always have somebody back there and they seem to close pretty early as far as the dressing rooms go so just make sure if you wanna try anything on that you get there early in the day but compared to Ross they have a great selection and as always, their prices are great. read more

I purchased a shirt from the Ross on pacific, the shit was too small, was driving by the one by the Capitol mall. I asked if I could exchange it for a size bigger, had the tags that I purchased the shirt with, might I add when I purchased it it did not have a Ross tag. Not only did they say there was nothing they could do for me, she wasn't willing to even try to ring it up to see if it would scan. Then told me it would be the same problem at the other one. The fact that she didn't even try is not only bad customer service but just laziness. I work in customer service and you at least try to let the customer know whyou are working for them. They were not busy and she wasn't busy talking and got interrupted. This was poor customer service. read more

This ross is run by miserable hags who only care about increasing their end of the year bonus paycheck for high revenue/sales- at the expense of their overworked, understaffed team of employees they bully/abuse into doing more than is humanly possible for minimum wage pay. The employees don't get bonuses or even medical benefits. They don't even offer them the "luxury" of being called a part time employee- they claim everyone is "seasonal" in their hiring contract; this way when they've abused and bullied employees into quitting, they can't claim unemployment. They don't care about giving employees a stable workable schedule. They tell employees if they need any days off they'll just replace them and they'll be jobless because they don't matter to the company at all. They'll schedule employees to work closing shifts till 2 al then opening shift at 8 am the very next day. Not allowed to be unavailable on a weekend and not allowed to request off vacation time either unless it's during the time where employees are getting one four hour shift per week in the slow four month after Xmas patch of time. They're condescending, belittling, berating of employees at all times. No matter how long someone's worked here or how great a job they do; management continuously insults employees intelligence levels and talks down to them behind their backs and to their face. Doing the best job possible only earns employees harder/more work and zero praise, much less zero benefits or time off or anything else. The customers abuse the employees and so does management; who slave whip employees into earning them their bonus paychecks while they sit on their f@t asses in back themselves all day long complaining about the employees. The employees see no benefits bonuses or rewards of any sort if management wins the awards for the store. It's honestly pathetic! This store is as trash as it gets. No wonder so many people walk in and rob them of stacks of sh*t every effing day. read more

Honestly I think Ross takes itself too seriously when it comes to cheaper end "designer" clothes. I really don't understand why they have a high theft rate for their items. Practically every item has a security tag on it and the items are not really that great. When I look through the men's clothes, the look and feel of most of the clothes makes me think they were made in another county with low quality material and a "designer" tag was just sewn in at the last minute and voila....designer! Also, I just went in a few days ago looking to spring as well as winter wear and there was barely anything on the racks. The selection was very slim, there weren't any active wear pants or workout clothes, there were hardly any shoes over size 11, and all the bathing suits were board shorts with some sort of tropical pattern or ugly geometric vibe going on. I hear people rave all the time about going to get good deals at Ross, but since there is hardly any stock...I'm like....where? This isn't my first time going in here either, but I'm pretty sure it'll be my last. Rather not waste my time. read more

The Harrison Avenue Ross is all right for shoes, kid's clothes, and kitchenware. There aren't very many petites, but have found pants in Petite short occasionally. I've had better luck finding dresses here that fit than the other Oly Ross store. My husband does not shop here. They rarely have tall sizes in shirts and all of their men's pants were cut incorrectly so they didn't fit him comfortably. They almost never carry men's shoes in larger sizes or wides. I haven't been able to find shoes in 12's or 13's here. Ross is a pretty good place to shop for kid's pants, overalls, dresses, and shoes. Every kid's item I have bought at Ross has outlasted at least 4 children while still looking new. Shirts are hit or miss, especially in the girl's department. My mother buys quite a few outfits for my daughter here to keep at her house. Their baby section is okay. The selection of small sizes of women's shoes (sizes 5 and 6) is all right. I can usually find nice business casual shoes to wear at work. I rarely have to sneak into the kid's sizes at Ross, which is nice. Both Ross stores carry the tall coffee mugs. I have bought several for my husband because he is a big-time coffee drinker. The kitchen section is usually pretty well equipped, but we only shop here when we need to replace something. read more

Poor customer service. Incredibly rude employee at the register. Who can blame Allison when she is left alone, her words, and the "manager is on the phone". Unacceptable. Oops sorry. That's not true. There are several associates walking around, and Tyler stopped what he was doing and was incredibly helpful at the jewelry counter. This has been our go-to pace for all things for the new house. We got a 8x10 rug for $100!! And a 5x7 for $35! Awesome deals for bathroom stuff, and sheets! I really love this store however we went to return a set of hand towels that were clearly coming apart, and the chick at the counter had to ask the manager (seriously a 18 yr old chick) if they could accept the return. The manager comes over and says some BS about oh how it wouldn't bother her and blah blah. What a bitch! Of course you're gonna accept this return bc the product sucks! Never going here again. Every time I've gone they've had good stuff. But their customer service sucks. I went a few days ago & bought a wicker toy chest with a basket and 3 sets of glassware. I brought my own reusable bags that the lady with red/orange hair who checked me out wouldn't use. She put all the glassware in the trunk with the basket on top instead then when I asked her if I was allowed to take it to my car in my shopping cart she said no & walked away. I'M 7 MONTHS PREGNANT. If she would have used my bags I would have been able to make 2 trips without a problem but I had to carry this chest with no handles full of heavy glass with a big basket on top to my car. In the rain. I didn't have a close parking spot. Not one of the 3 employees that were up front asked to help or even hold the door for me while I struggled to my car. My back has been in spasms ever since. read more
