They quickly cut a small custom mat and backing and even put it in the frame for me. The results were professional-looking and the cost was very reasonable. It's difficult, expensive, and time-consuming -- a soul-killing experience. I started my search at the usual hobby and art stores & also shopped on-line. I was saddened by the low quality and lack of selection at the big box chains, and their custom frames are crazy expensive. On-line was a high priced hassle. Fabio worked with me to find some "oops" frames and scraps to keep my prices low. They look great and were finished quickly. I'm never going to another frame shop as long as Fabio is here.

The image was a complex mountain landscape with deep shadows, bright highlights, and subtle color transitions. I wanted to send them a guide print to serve as a reference but they would not let me do it and no proofing available. It was a large Giclee so I was a little concerned as I have not ever worked with a lab that refused both guide print and proof. It was a reproduction of my wife's oil painting so color matching is important to us. Communication was over the phone and email so I might have gotten better service in person. A bit defensive when answering questions. Maybe it was me? or they are just too busy because they do good work at reasonable prices.
