When I arrived, no one greeted me or offered assistance as I browsed with 10+ items draped over my arm. I didn't realize the store closed at 8, and was kindly informed with just minutes to spare. I hurried and was apologetic--but unfortunately, at checkout I was met with cold energy and passive-aggressive behavior that made me feel like I was a burden for being there so close to closing time. I still made a purchase--several pieces, actually--but the way it was handled felt rushed and ungracious. Jewelry was tossed into my bag, and when I asked for a proper jewelry bag, one was thrown in my shopping bag without a word, and I had to pack everything myself.
