I have been following PurpleGlassBoutique for a while on Instagram and always said to myself that when I am back in Orlando I would make it a mission to try this place out. PurpleGlassBoutique has two locations. One on Pine Hills and this location. This location was in a nice plaza area with other stores and somewhat small. They had 2 dressing rooms and a great selection of clothes. The prices ranged depending on the style. I loved their clothing because it was so unique from other online shops. Plus they cater to the plus size and ladies you know how hard it can be to find that outfit that turns a man's head real quick! This was the place I would get all those sexy outfits! I understand that may not seem like a lot but when I can get a good quality shirt on a clearance rack at Burlington for about five bucks $40 seems like quite the ripoff. The only thing I can say is that sometimes they do have decent things on clearance, but you really do have to dig. I have found that they also have a lot of similar things to Ross and Burlington clothes wise, which is why I really only prefer to look at the shoes when I go to Nordstrom rack. I like that they also have makeup and perfume there so that it is more of a one stop shop. They even have some toys and tons of kids shoes and clothes too. I was visiting Orlando recently and decided to check out the advertised deals here. This was my first and last visit ever. I was really excited because I live in Georgia and there isn't a clearance center there, so the girly shopper in me was super excited. Then all of that change after 3 minutes of being in the store. I noticed the security officer, watching me, at first, I thought I was imagining it but soon it became so clear I was targeted. I believe it was based solely on my race, Black American. It was really disgusting, every department I entered he was there watching me), and he didn't try to conceal it. I could tell that he had been well trained that (allegedly) only a certain race of people should not be trusted to shop without harassment, being watched, and singled out.
