I will give a one star review for this store for major reason. When shopping here and are in need to use the bathrooms, loss prevention agents and or associates will tell you their bathrooms are broken no matter what pressing need you may encounter. This is on a daily basis and everyone is being encouraged to go to Burlington store next door. Shout out to our Renaissance Rialto location. Its very unethical for Ross to run a business and fail to provide bathrooms for its customers simoly because they dont want to deal with cleaning them after. Gross store. Don't go on Tuesday , simply horrible, line to pay can stretch back to home goods. Had it not been for the fact that I didn't want to risk going to another store and not finding the same item I would NOT have stood in line for 30 minutes. Love to shop at the night when there's not many people here. I love the selection at Ross. Not all stores carry the exact same items so it's nice to see what I can find. They have name brand items for less, but you need to browse through to find the gems. Employees are friendly and fast with their service. read more

This was my second visit to this location. I am primarily shop at the North Fontana location. This rice rice had a great selection of purses and clothes. However the racks of dresses were pushed so close together that you could barely work through. Which is why I gave them three stars. read more

Don't come here unless you have an hour alone to wait in line. It's Saturday afternoon with a line that's across the store with only 2 cashiers.... WTF who does their schedule?! Who ever it is must be wanting a bonus to save the store hours but in the process is losing customers. There were several people who complained and asked for them to open another line but they said no one was available. I've visited this location twice within a week. Both times they had long lines and only 2 cashiers. If this is the norm for this location then they need to see the need for more employees. Im new to the area and I am not used to a Ross being run like this. The cashiers were friendly both times but the company has to realize this puts a strain on employees as well as customers to have to wait so long. read more

The absolute worst customer experience at this store, the manager Lisa Is completely unprofessional and should be reprimanded for her lack of empathy and unprofessionalism. I have worked in the customer service industry for 15 years and have always taken the time to listen to the customer, even if they are not correct. These managers need to go through some serious training if you want to keep customers coming in, I really hope that someone in an upper management position for Ross reads the reviews and makes some changes here. Clearly the common denominator is your rude, unprofessional management staff. Change it or lose business, what a shame that none of the reviews have anything good to say about the staff, especially since this is a brand new location! read more

I've shopped this Ross twice now. First know that this is a brand new store in meaning that the entire shopping center it's in is new. In fact the shopping center is still being developed. The first time I went to shop was about a week after it's grand opening. Sadly as I entered and moved about the store it felt like I was in an old Ross. The place was a mess and unorganized. I was completely disappointed. When I had made a comment about it, I was told that they didn't expect the grand opening outcome and was overwhelmed and still trying to recover. Ok, i'll give them that. Well it's been several weeks now and I decided to run in for one thing I needed. Again, I was disappointed. I stood in line for probably 20-25 minutes. There was only 1 cashier who had no business trying to handle the volume of business the store was doing because she clearly lacked any sense of urgency. She seemed to not give a care that the line was backed up half way into the back of the store. There was also one cashier at the refund desk who was quicker at what she was doing however had to assist those in line with their returns or exchange vs. the line for those to pay. Customers did begin to complain and a manager finally came up, but really did nothing. The customer behind began to ask a question about why it took so long for help to arrive and I couldn't believe what I was hearing. It was as if she was trying to train the customer in what to do. I had to step in and tell the manager that she had no business telling the customer the reply she gave and that she should be telling her cashiers the information instead. She just looked at me like a deer in headlights. Dumbfounded. So I most likely wont be supporting Ross any longer with my business. Burlington coat factory is just a couple doors down with the same merchandise but bigger store and better customer service. Sorry Ross but your higher ups clearly are more interested in lining their pockets for the moment vs. investing in a little more payroll to ensure the longevity of the bigger picture. read more

Went in early on Saturday morning to pick up a couple gifts for a birthday party that evening and then some. Once we were ready to check out, the line had grown quite long and there were only two registers open. A lot of the other guests were visibly upset,but I work retail so I get the struggle of ringing up customers when there's a long line and being short staffed. Don't blame the cashiers!! I promise you, we didn't choose to be by ourselves at the register. Anyways, the line moved quite efficiently and both associates kept it cordial even under all that stress. Kudos to them, but as a whole I feel the store needs to be much more organized. Overall, I'd say 5 stars for the cashiers and 3 stars for this Ross. read more

Lines are always long. There is normally one cashier which is most of the time a manager. Some associates act as if they do not want to work. I think they let go of the holiday help too soon. Store is rarely stocked when I go. read more

If I could give a negative star review I would. Customer service is non-existent. The aisles are so messy you can barely get through them. I had to pick things up that were sliding off of shelves so I could get my basket through. One customer commented to me that she wanted to see the price on an item but there was so many other items surrounding it she was unable to get to it. Of course there was no customer service around to help her because it simply does not exist in this location. The check out takes 45 minutes to an hour because there are two people manning the registers. Again, I will not call them customer service because there is NONE. I will drive from Rialto to La Verne to shop at a Ross from now on. The travel time will equal the time I would have stood in line to check out anyway. read more

Great selection of clothes, however management staff is unprofessional (Lisa specifically). I asked to speak to a manager and instead of speaking to me directly, she wanted to speak to me through the store associates. Purchased an item on the 17th of Oct and unfortunately the item was too small, so I went to to try and exchange on Nov 17th ( I have been extremely busy with being in and out if town because of work and vacation in between. ) The size needed wasn't available so I tried to return the item. I was told I could ONLY receive store credit. According to the Manager on duty Lisa at the time, she advised her associates there was no way to override and to contact customer service. The receipt says "within" 30 days and that because I was in in the 30th day, I was late. That conversation was done unprofessionally in front of me over the phone. I thought that to be extremely odd, given my background in retail management. I happened to call another ROSS right after to confirm what I was told. I spoke with another manager who was extremely helpful in giving me insight to the return policy. According to that manager, I was assured I should have no problem in getting my cash back after explaining the story; it was offered to be returned at their location, but that is 35 minutes opposite of me. I should not have to drive 35 minutes to return an item that I should have been able to return 5 minutes from me. I called back to speak with Lisa and she explained that she could do it but "will not" because although today was the 17th, its 31 days. REALLY?! I have the receipt, tags, unused, unworn and want to be anal on that small technicality?! Needless to say, I will not be shopping at this ROSS anymore. Such a shame... read more

I came here to do some Christmas shopping for toys. I found a big amount of toys to choose from and the store was very clean. The associates I did see asked how I was doing as well. I really loved how the toys were a lot cheaper than Burlington and there was a great selection of actually name brand toys at good prices. read more

The selection in Ross is excellent, a lot of nice, cheap clothes. I'm rating this specific Ross so low because of a customer service issue. Trying on clothes was like being in school again with that teacher you hate. The changing room assistant was intently watching us at all times and had a rude, suspicious attitude. When coming out of the changing room to show my partner what I tried on she spun around and accusingly looked at us as if we were stealing. She proceeded to follow us to the front of the store after we had finished up and left the changing room area. read more
