I liked this Ross! For it being Holiday time and very very hectic in every TJ Max, Ross and Homegoods there is, I was impressed. They had a really nice selection of items from kitchenware to kids clothes and shoes! Some of the items I saw on the shelf had busted boxes though, which I guess is to be expected at some degree. They had great christmas decor and ornaments and lots of gift options. They even had a little section dedicated to christmas themed cookie boxes and other general Christmas gift boxes. Line was not long at all which was a plus. Loads of parking! Overall a pleasant shopping experience. Ross can be really hit or miss but I found this location to be a hit! read more

I stopped by this Ross location this morning to get a sandle to wear inside or outside the house. I had time to waste before my wife graduation near by so I stopped by here. They weren't that busy since I came in the early morning but the bad part is that they only had 1 cashier working. I found the sandle I wanted so I got it and went to the line to pay for it. The person working the jewelry or sunglasses area was confusing some older guest she was helping and giving them conflicting information. She was helping them but instead of letting them pay with her, she told them to get in line which was long and pay for their item. The older guest were old with a crane so when I was the next guest about to pay, I let them go since they were there before me anyway. The store was nicely organized in the morning though so it was one of the nicer Ross I been to. read more

The Manager named Andrew (Andres) at this location is perhaps the rudest Manager I have ever encountered. I just wanted to exchange/return what I had bought as a gift for my mother who was also with me. He aggressively accused me of bringing something I bought three days before 12/26 in poor condition and would not let me speak, he continued to reprimand me like a child and asked me "what are these hairs?" What hairs? I asked "And why is the tag ripped? He continued with the absurd line of questioning. He then proceeded with the strange behavior and what seemed to be an unusual interrogation, it was the most bizarre experience; he proceeded to dismiss my claims and told me I needed to consider the customers. I AM A CUSTOMER! He was ridiculous and told me he wasn't arguing and expressed frustration in his manner, I realized he was of poor moral character lacking the courtesy and critical skills required of his position. Andrew is rude and disrespectful. The entire experience was outrageous. His discrimination and behavior towards my mother was completely unacceptable. He ignored her when she politely tried to help alleviate the misunderstanding & explain the situation further and continued to treat her as though she was invisible. He eventually said he could only give me store credit which I would have taken from the beginning, I just ended up returning all the items I had just purchased and applied the store credit to the return. The policy says we can exchange however the first cashier named Adelaine said there was nothing that could be done and rudely moved my item to the side. I could tell there was no reaching her and asked to speak to the manager as it couldn't get worse... I WAS WRONG! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE. DO NOT SHOP HERE--DISGUSTING STORE & HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE If I could give this Ross zero stars, I would. This is hands down one of the dirtiest and most poorly managed stores I've ever stepped foot in. I understand that Ross is a budget store, so a little wear and tear is expected--but the absolute filth in this location is beyond unacceptable. The floors were disgusting, merchandise was thrown everywhere, and the entire place felt like a chaotic mess. But the worst part? The customer service. I am PREGNANT, and I asked to use the restroom TWO HOURS before closing, only to be rudely denied. I don't know what kind of establishment refuses a pregnant woman the ability to use the restroom, but that alone is reason enough to never set foot in this store again. When I finally made it to checkout, the nightmare continued. The line was ridiculously long because they had ONE cashier working, while multiple employees stood around on the floor doing absolutely nothing to help customers. To top it off, the cashier was incredibly rude--as if customers inconvenienced them by simply shopping here. This location is a disgrace. The staff is lazy and disrespectful, the store is filthy, and the overall shopping experience is beyond miserable. The cashier charged me twice for an item and when I spoke with Andrew the manager he said I need to go back so they can check the camera. I asked him if I could give him the receipt number and time of purchase so he can check on his own since I live far from that Ross location he said no that I needed to be in the store for them to be able to check the cameras. It's such a huge inconvenience to go back for the lack of effort the Manager Andrew could have easily made over the phone. Horrible customer service! read more

I feel like since it's centrally located it's usually already picked over and the selection is slim pickings unlike other Ross' I've been too. But when I do find something I make sure to get it as everything is priced pretty good here especially when it's name brand on the higher end. Service is usually good here as well, though good luck finding an employee on the floor for help as I haven't seen one yet. read more

The lady in the womens fitting room is so rude to customers. I don't understand how she still has her job, seriously! There's a way to talk to customers and you don't talk to them by raising your voice and treating them like their your children. I asked her where I can put my stuff and she started raising her voice as if I was bothering her and proceeded to treat me as if I was one of her children. The good: "Do you love it? I love it! I got it at Ross" song always plays in my head when I enter this store. I got 5 accent pillows, a trashcan, coat hangers and some candles here. The pillow selection wasn't huge but they were a great deal. They were much cheaper than the ones at Marshalls and Home Goods. The bad: Their racks in the home goods section isn't always full. Maybe they just have too many shelves or maybe their inventory is smaller due to COVID. Their women's clothes is flimsier or cheaper in quality than other discount clothing stores but the prices also reflect that. It's much cheaper here. The clothes often shrink a lot so size up if you wash your clothes in warm water. The interesting: Seniors age 55+ can get 10% off on Tuesdays. read more

Woah love...a mess. This Ross location for some odd reason always feels under-staffed? I never see more than 2 cash registers open...so you can imagine how ridiculous the lines get. I always gotta ask myself if what I'm getting is worth the line. The staff are very nice don't get me wrong but they do need more of them because the very few staff running around doing everything cannot be left to do everything. Clothes and items are always on the floor or just thrown on the racks without a hanger. It's a mess. You get lucky once "rush hour" calms down and you only have 7 people in front of you in line. read more

Located near Bed Bath and Beyond, Walmart, etc. It's a nice huge shopping center with plenty of parking. The Yelp hours days it opened at 10, but it was open around 9:55am. The store was big, nicely lit, and clean. Most of the store is comprised of women's clothing. I was looking for a particular pillow that I saw on someone's post. But, it could've been there last year, but not now. I asked one of the workers where the pillows were located, and she pointed them out. So, I didn't buy anything, but the store was nice. read more

Compared to other locations this location seems to be better organized. I usually come here to pick up random toys for the kids and it is always nicely organized. Can't say the same about other locations where things are all over the place. I usually come here before 11am and hardly any wait to check out. I'm in and out pretty quickly. Back to school commercials hit us mothers like a ton of bricks each mid July, and we always ask ourselves "already!?.... it's only July!?"... similar to the same way we get flustered about seeing Christmas decor in Rite-Aid or Walgreen's in October. However, I revisited Ross yesterday (being school has now been in session for one week now) and it was still a sad little ghost town to the garment world. This one is brand new, as I have been coming too Newhall for 17 years, and never noticed this one until this past weekend. I am pretty sure that the UNIVERSE intervened, because I had lunch with my mum at the Claim Jumper and NORMALLY hit the freeway right after...HOWEVER, I detoured over to Ross (what else is new?!)...good thing I did because the freeway I would have taken had TWO 18 wheelers collide and a huge tractor flew off the back and into a power line...THAT WAS THE FREEWAY and route I was about to take!!!! But how was Ross you ask? I is so new that there were spaces between clothing on the rack! But give it time, this place will be fully stocked and jumping' in NO time!!! read more

I really love to shop at Ross. Nothing like finding designer clothes for a fraction of the price. However, this location does not have great men's clothes selection. Aside from Men's clothing, other areas like photo frames and house decor is on the light side as well. Customer service is fine and there are always enough cashiers open during busy times but the store is quite unorganized, messy and disfunctional compared to other Ross stores I have been to. A real big turn off. Parking is never an issue since there is garage parking and street parking available. My wife has more fun at this store than I do. I've been so busy lately that I promised to write my next review right after I visit the store. Well, I got a ton of events going on and my WARDROBE is starting to be OVERUSED. So, I had to get a new pair of pants at Ross. Well, my pants are starting become loose again. I am at size 40 weighing in at 234lbs. I wasn't sure if I was going to need the same waist size or go lower. I hope lower. I arrived at Ross at 12:10pm during my lunch break. While most people are eating, I'm trying on some new pair of pants. Like the other reviews, this place is very EMPTY, but CLEAN. I've been to other Ross Stores like Sherman Oaks and Van Nuys and those stores defined the Ross Brand, which is...clothes on the floor, mess everywhere. I found three pair of pants that looked good. Did you guess what size waist that I got? We'll find the answer at the end of the review. At the fitting room, there is a Loss Prevention and a store employee waiting for you. I thought I was at some concert waiting to be screened. The Ross Employee was very strict about his job. The employee had to verify how many pieces of clothing you were going to bring in. I tried on all three pairs of pants and they all fit EXCELLENT, but I had to choose one. The most comfortable and the cheapest one....Is there such thing? Yeah, there was. I got myself a SouthPole Jeans for $11.99. That was damn cheap. I got new pants for a price of lunch that will last me for months...maybe weeks at the way I lose weight. Checkout was easy since it was EMPTY. My total was $13.04 Overall, this Ross Store threw me off just a little bit. It wasn't messy and I found pants cheaper than the other Ross' Stores. Not my favorite Ross. The one in Saugus is a bit superior, in my opinion, as it's larger and has more goods. The service here is also not as friendly, as far as I have found. I've only been here a handful of times, and am sure I will go again, but if I could choose between this Ross and other ones, this one wouldn't be on my list of top 5, or anywhere close. It's clean enough, and friendly enough, and convenient enough, yes, but it's not superior in any way. Possibly the location is the best part. If you're looking for a better Ross, try the one in La Crescenta, if you're ever in the neighborhood. Now that's a Ross. :P read more

Clean but super empty!

I stopped going to this Ross, the one on Bouquet might be crazy busy and a mess, but at least I find stuff there. This location is the worst one I have ever visited. The store has so little inventory and so much bars spaces in the middle. I don't get it it all. How can they even make a profit and remain open is a mystery to me. The store seems to be emptier and emptier with time. The nearby Marshall's has way more inventory, but the prices are higher than they should be imo. So do not bother coming here, otherwise you will feel disappointed and leave empty handed like I have felt with my past visits. read more

But I wasn't happy that her manager Nadia was very rude to her in front of us . She straight cut into our conversation and started telling her she wasn't doing her job right . This location is mostly a miss for me. They don't have great apparel options , especially in the junior section the racks always look empty . The aisle's barely have any items as well and if you do happen to find something there's always one cashier with a line of 10 people on the weekends ,the most two. The dressing room attendant was so strict on how many clothes were brought in and out of the dressing room. Before going in, I was made to hang the clothes on a rack so she could count them, and then again when I came out. That I can somewhat understand. But the second time I tried on clothes then came back out, she told me next time to fix the clothes on the hanger before returning them to her. Hello? Isn't that HER job??? Jenica by far was the worst employee that I have had the opportunity in dealing with. She refused to exchange a $4.99 picture frame and instead preferred that I escalate my concerns to the district manager Cesar and the corporate office. It is ridiculous to me that a store manager would make a customer go through all these hoops in order to complete an exchange of a $4.99 photo frame because I had lost the receipt. I am up-hauled and at a loss for words. While I was on the phone with corporate she disappeared and went to her office to avoid any conversation. Completely unprofessional. I am confident that each and every day there are dishonest people stealing from these retail stores, and then my situation for me to have purchased an item and in need of an exchange due to the size of a photo that will not fit is ridiculous. I didn't want store credit or store credit. Simply an exchange for a different frame. I have been told that Cesar the district manager is given 3 to 5 business days to contact the customer, so in essence if you have a concern you will need to drive back home wait 3 to 5 business days and take an extra trip back to the store all for simple exchange or return. read more
